Braka Darawka: No offence but, if you don't have an altitude meter on your drone or
failsafe function, PLEASE, do anything you can to avoid these situations.
Imagine the damage it can causes to a men, women, children, animals or
cars, windows or anything else. I don't wanna see a law in a near future
that will be made especially for the drones, restricting us from flying
where we want. Thank you!
Ronnie Schille: u guys are crazy.. for $250 you can get a extender up to 1-2 miles... and
overlay these every mile in the city, have the city on wifi lockdown... get
some !! I'll fly all over, dropping off packs of smokes for $15 hahaha
Cayla Saunders: Was the indoor body on? Or Outdoor? Im surprised it survived the crash
Michael N: I wish someone who "lose" one near my location. I want one but don't want
to pay that kind of price
Ben7seven7: Use QGround control software and do an autonomous flight with out worrying
about wifi signal. Also a new firmware update just came out for the ar
drone and flight recorder
z00h: I hope you was man enough to offer to pay for the repairs - looks like you
did some damage to at least one of those cars
Michael Muni: it has a USB port so it will take USB flash drives. White I do to keep the
drone as light as possible is use a MicroSD card inside a tiny USB MicroSD
lawless aussie: Lol I would fly mine over area 51
PORTUGALSPARTAN004: why was i going up in an angle ? i thought the 2.0 could stabilise
amazingly even when 20-30 metres above the ground
Pieter-Jan Van Vlaenderen: get a macbook let it host a wifi network set sleep on close lid off you
carry your mac in a backpack and you can fly until the battery of your mac
is depleted. haveet tried but I might buy this drone and give it a shot.
The plan atleast sounds like it might work
Michael Muni: Parrot is doing this type of thing already and will have a usb dongle for
sale soon that when plugged into the drones USB port adds GPS to the drone.
You can then load preprogrammed flight coordinates and send the drone off
on autonomous flights.
paggodiablo01: Mike the same thing happened to me but not at that distance, mine was like
100 meters the drone lost WiFi and just stopped. luckily I was on a sports
ground and had plenty of space seems the damn thing just shuts down does
not even land just hovers about a meter above the ground. I only bought the
thing to practice flying RC Quads before I built my own. I use an iPad to
fly it but it's not much good in the sunlight
Kevin Johnston: If you want it to be able to navigate it's own flight paths without
supervision like returning to the start point without crashing into
something, this requires serious programming effort. Especially since
people will not be using these in a controlled environment because it's no
GRAT3939: lol just missed that new car!! but u cant complain with that auto
landing... any other thing that flys would of just crashed and burned! or
if your unlucky your plane decides to fly out to sea by its self! what
would you prefer??
donkiddick12: And a very expensive "toy" at that
muffdriver69: I said I could probably I didn't say I can. Besides, the point of saying
that is that you risk the chance of losing it. No failsafe = bye bye parrot
DestructoXxShaunxX: I used an Ipad 2.
DestructoXxShaunxX: How high wee you when u lost connection? My drone goes 121m( my record so
far) without mods and still has full wifi strength.
DNTMEE: You would think the company would put a feature in it to, upon losing the
wifi, stop, descend to the 1 meter high takeoff position and wait. Unless
it picks the wifi back up, then it could tell the user and the user can get
it back. I think the best way to do it all is to use one of these battery
operated Wifi units and put it out near you while you're flying it to
extend it's overall range. At least that way you could pick it up and run
after the unit in hopes it would pick up the signal again
ejunky66: watch that 100usd demage crash watch?v=dCI-QnTElIw
Tyller keim: Have you tried a wifi exteneder and and kind works the best?
Bryan Guerrero: but sadly I don't think its possibru
DBSpy1: Wow, this still happens just like 1950s tube RC aircraft amazing.
warspite2: Cool video, it was up there really high, glad you got it back undamaged.
BuddhistGamer: did you have to get a new one?
cjcarlful: youtube.com/watch?v=RCPKpqkGpDs build your own drone!
basgetz: yeah mine drifts also a bit luckely no signal lost yet but im pushing it :)
AnimationCentral: same thing happened to me :( i lost mine today and btw i just got it today
zenithrs: Laser is an acronym... Light Amplification by the Stimulated Emission of
Radiation... no "Z" in that.
james rivers: 3:44 Grove street.
Brandon Woodard: at least it comes down slow lol and doesnt come crashing down haha
James Bond: if some music was added it would be a better video :)
andrew moonbeam: stupid drone
lcdvasrm: 186m actually
heroineworshipper: If flew to a new car & crashed into it, exactly as designed.
Tong Gorokh: with the same route? :)
Skysurfer: Wi-fi's not 100% even on the best of days. I've always considered using
this as a method of controlling an aircraft as irresponsible
profit-mongering. Get a proper drone/multicopter. Safer, more fun, better.
Surprised it stays right way up when it loses connection...
Matthew smith: It does have a failsafe it lands its self when out of range at least it did
for me anyways.
fusseldieb: Attaching a camera on it ;)
atarenat: There is an app ace drone
hanni6022: Yes the toy breaks easily, not for little kids.
LILWHITEISTIGHT: How do you record ar drone 1.0 footage?
Michael Muni: It slowly defends until it reaches the ground or your device reconnects to
it, mine was never able to get reconnected. Its supposed to stay in one
spot when descending but as you can tell by the video, if there is any wind
at all it will drift away while descending.
basgetz: so whats happend exactly? its try to land out of itself? can you run toward
it an reastablish connection?
Michael Muni: Yes I had already done this. Cleared out all known wifi networks, no open
networks in area, turned off 3G data.
No1Survivalistxxx: i like to develop android apps, love it. That idea has been considered by
many, the problem is range and lag time. Bandwidth is too low right now. If
all devices used were 4g it would work. And doing it now would be most
unprofitable, so no one wants to do it as 4g is not big yet. But be assured
it will happen!
NikeTao: It would be better if instead of using WiFi, they would supplement the
drone with a special long wavelength radio transmitter unit, that way it
would give you control over much further distances. WiFi is very
ryen01234: Half the time it doesn't move
Matthew smith: I highly doubt you can throw a rock 16 story's high... Its WiFi, and a toy,
you don't like it don't buy it...
