Ernesto Oliveira: great video thanks for sharing it with others
lonnie ruybal: So I'm having same problem with my 04 Silverado except mine goes into 4 lo and not 4 hi ,it blinks like this video and goes back to 2wd . I do have new transfer case motor here to be installed . Will this fix problem ?
Rodolfo Valdovinos: I have a 2001 silverado and my 4wd only engages into the low 4wd, it goes into high and auto but it doesn't work on does modes it only works on the low mode. Do you think is the transfer case shift motor? @1Aautoparts
MegaFlaxman: Hi there you showed how to test the motor while its attached to the truck, I have a 2001 olds bravada that doesn't have any 4wd switches, it is stuck in 4wd and I'm thinking it's the encoder motor. There isn't any way to test this one is there? I've been told there isn't any way to test it when it's not attached to the transfer case either or it will cause permanent damage to the motor.Fluid is perfect no blown fuses and no lights illuminated on the dash.
Vanison Zore: Is there any fluid that has to be drained first before I do this on a 98 Silverado z71
streetplatoon562: Hello there went ahead and bought the part but I cannot get the teeth to line up... Any tips on how to go about that ?
supperterofsanity: Great job! I like the fast forwarding through monotonous parts, we can still see what you do but it shortens the video which is better than cutting away and skipping the section.
2009G8Gxp: "I never tighten up anything with an impact wrench." This is the only person I would every pay to work on my vehicles. :D
Jose Hernandez: Great video!!!
mattd19902010: I just replaced the 4x4 actuator on mine and the front wheels still won't spin and it won't go into 4x4 low or netural
J Lamoureux: Great vid. Fixing my truck at the moment!
Jon Stroud: Great video, thanks, helped me out a lot. When I pulled the shift motor out and opened it up to replace the sensor it was full of oil. Is that supposed to be there. Thanks again
Lee Bailey: Great Videos. I have a problem similar to this. 05 Sierra 215k miles. My buttons have been working off and on for a few months. Today, when working and going at highway speed the transfew case shifted into neutral on its on and I lost all power to wheels. Pressed Auto 4WD, power returned and got home. Tried again later and same thing happened. Transfer case shift motor? 4WD Axle Actuator? Software issues? Thanks for your time
Bengal: How do I know if the problem is the motor or the control module? My 2005 Chevy Suburban will shift from 4 HI to Auto4WD and back, but will not go to 2WD or 4 LO. The button just flashes for several seconds after pushing, but it doesn't shift and stay lit up.
Jerromi Long Hair: would this help for a 97 2door tahoe
Sueanne Crawford: All I need to know is how long it takes!!!!
Rasin Kanes Renegade Rebel: what if there is no sound when you push the button? mine does nothing, no sound, the lights on the push button selector does nothing. its dead in the water so to speak
Kristofer Hoffman: Hey my 99 chevy Silverado doesn't like to disengage the four wheel drive, when it does though it make a loud clunk and is as if hit a speed bump. Any ideas?
Brandon Herrera: I have a 2004 1500 Chevy z71 5.3 l V8, when I try to put my truck into 4x4 absolutely nothing happens. No matter what button I push, (4hi, 4lo, or auto) no lights blink it doesn't shift into 4x4. I don't hear any sounds like you have showed here in the video. It doesn't try to shift, it will not make any attmept. I have a service 4x4 light on. Can you shed any light on this for me please and thank you.
TRIPPLE Nickel: frontt end whines all the time on my 04 yukon i changed the fluid and found no metal flakes but its sttill loud had it inspected no play found in the hub assemblies what is it
