kingcarcas1349: Haha! And that's on a decent bike, now imagine me on my walmart hunk of
junk riding on the street getting on cagers' nerves. I've gotten used to
it, now i will ride on the left side of the lane not giving a damn (and
this is LA where everyone is road raging!) I'm just wondering if stem
shifters will be ok or go with brifters from the 2.0 They say stem shift
tell other cyclists you have the ghetto version, which actually makes it
more appealing to me! Ha!
RicardoNY1: I'll just add that I owned the 2.0 version of this bike. I put 1500 miles
on it before I sold it and it was a solid quality bike. Only issue was the
cheap rubber rim tape that gave me back to back spoke pinch flats. I got
some real rim tape at the LBS and issue resolved.
standup93: @ferrarifreak575 i would say the biggest con is the gearing. its annoying
to have to move your hands to switch them constantly. Also, the it is
heavier than most road bikes out there. it is very durable and a good bike
to see if you like road biking on. Also good for commuting. but its not
good for much else than that in my opinion. But for the price i got it for,
I have been nothing but pleased with it.
standup93: @LetsGoSIeep Thanks alot!
Adolfo P: Where is this bike made?
john penls: hi quick question - Im fairly certain im going to get the same bike, but
before i do, is the seat adjustable? it seems too high and im hoping its
possible to adjust the seat lower (or higher). so, is the seat adjustable?
standup93: @ferrarifreak575 Thanks alot! and its still doing great! I haven't had any
problems with it. I'm probably going to buy a better one soon, so i can
start to enter competitions and such. But i am definitely going to keep it
as a commuter!
gawrsherz: How heavy is this bike exactly?
InfiniteAmountOfEpic: In the basement dungeon of Windsor castle.
sebrules: I freakin love this bike. I've had mine for about 3 years and the only
problem I've had are the occasional flats, and after 2 years I snapped the
steam. Other than that, I ride this bike everywhere, I've probably logged
at least a thousand miles onto it. My only con is that the back part of the
bike seems to be a little heavy
Joseph Hargan Calvopiña: Hey man, sorry for all the questions, but I'm looking into buying this bike
and there is very little info on it. What would you say are some pros and
cons now that you've had it for a while? Thanks man!
luvadamusic: Great review! Thanks. Last spring/summer I began road biking with a friends
of mine. but I was using a cruiser bike (you know the one with the handles
curved in that the little girls on tv ride, smh) needles to say the effort
I put in to keep up with him was exhausting! So this season over decided to
get this bike from bikes direct. I'm jealous I spent the full 300 but I'm
glad you enjoy riding it, they makes me feel a little but better. :)
Jan De Jesus: Windsor Fens FTW!!!
Joseph Hargan Calvopiña: Hey! I was looking into buying this bike. How is it holding up so far? Good
job on the review!
rmorinchef: hey, great review dude! u just sold another 2 bikes for windsor. gonna by
them for christmas for my wife and me!
broncofan165: Good review man. Glad someone made one.
