67bootylicious: used the ics root 7.2.0 on ,y acer a500 4.0.3 but it keeps saying no a500
with usb debuging detected... and it does have usb debugging checked and
everything else needed. what you suggest
John VE: spyware bullcrap downloader
PerspicuousLoris: It doesn't seem to be recognizing my A500, it's definitely running 4.0.3
and I've triple checked I have USB Debug on and I reinstalled the drivers,
Denis Skibin: freaking crap, not working, not reboot!
La BabY ChuLa: i cant install the ICS root tool in my computer for some reason
Mirza Kharrasov: baidu root
Александр Плыкин: i really suppose where your hands begin if u couldn't press a few buttons
on your pc and set a tablet
K Smith: Hmmm seems I'm not the only one to get the "no A500 with USB Debugging
Detected" message. I'm not too sure what it could be. I tried running as
administrator and even tried running in compatibility mode. Still no joy :|
Anyone have any ideas on how to remedy this?
La BabY ChuLa: with the new app is taking a lot of time
it hasnt started rooting yet :/
popicu: did you by any chance do a version of ICS for Windows 8.1 as well? :D
Dunno if that's the prob, but i get the same no A500 was detected kinda
daveyjones music: mine says done but it did not reboot
Seamless Oo: Mine won't reboot just says done and nothing happens

Jacob Green: The app says "No A500 with USB Debugging Detected!" PLZ HELP!!
rslh: Gaah, now you tell me. :-)
blackthund3r Channel: @HaxinatioN hehehe thanks ;) I do like my iOS but the opportunity to
produce this was too hard to not seize and IT WORKS! :D
blackthund3r Channel: Reinstall the firmware :)
lokii2000100: I know more about all this crazy hacking stuff now cause I rooted my phone
and overclocked :) but I dont think cmw works with ics 4.0.3? i cant find
any that work. im also having trouble on finding compatable kernels.
blackthund3r Channel: @mrhappysad and yes it will work with the OTA :)
blackthund3r Channel: to unroot, download the Android Update ZIP for your version (probably
1.031.00 or 1.033.00 - see settings), copy it to a MicroSD Card, rename it
to update.zip then boot your tablet with power and volume down and it will
go back to stock :)
blackthund3r Channel: Use the A500 Root Tools app to remount /system read/write or use ICS Root
7.1 and install the remount patcher :)
Keshia Gibson: My friend actually rooted my tablet and I'm totally clueless when it comes
to electronics.. I don't even know what firmware is.. lol.. I'm also
needing to know how to unroot so if u could please email me instructions on
how to do it cause I'm literally an electronic illiterate thanks
MasterShakeIII: make the camera shakier, I LOVE motion sickness
blackthund3r Channel: A510 uses different methods. See the appropriate XDA forum for that :)
Frailing Sosa: Please help me, how do I install the tegraowners v170 ROM on the Acer a500
that has been rooted with method
Lady Minnie: I get the message that no a500 was detected :(
skins4thewin: Yes, I want to know about the official release too! And I read something
about that this will only work with certain firmware versions... what
exactly is the difference between the version of android and your firmware?
Im a newb, so if someone could point me in the right direction id
Slavoj Alois: Will I be able to install CWM on this newer Version or be able to unlook
bootloader? I have already upgraded to ICS through the Play Store, and
rooted it but can not install CWM or get into recovery. I want to upgrade
to Jellybean. After spending God knows how long on this I am happy to have
found your Video. Your the first person to explain why I can not install
CWM. I not sure now what root I used, it took several attempts. Please
help? I'm not sure what to do next down grade and start again
blackthund3r Channel: It does :) There's TWRP and ClockworkMod by thor2002ro - both are on that
repo. They're both very good recoveries. The TegraOwners ROM is very nice
and has overclocking ability. There is also the FlexReaper ROM which has an
overclockable kernel and is a very nice update to the stock Acer ICS ROM.
There's loads to choose from if you know where to look ;) TegraOwners and
the XDA-Developers A500 Android Development section are very useful.
jose manuel gomez casasola: please traduction to spanish :$
Alejandro Pavón Ruiz: Hey, two things :S my tablet doesnt reboot, and the program for rooting is
different from the video, yes I downloaded it from your link, advices?
Felix Martinez: dude wtf u have android 3.2.1 not 4.0.3 what a liver
blackthund3r Channel: driversssssss
gnexus01: It says it's rooted, but the tablet is refusing to let me remove all the
pre loaded junk that came with it.
8218521DJ: NVM got it...
aniu8835: I just have a question, I thought that your program installed CWM but I
guess it doesn't? Cause I tried to boot to recovery to make a backup and I
just get a little android guy laying down with a red triangle out of it's
chest with an exclamation point. I'm assuming this is the standard download
mode? So how would I go about putting CWM on here to make a backup of the
blackthund3r Channel: should so
connor and curtis zuccotti: how do i get back to honeycomb
Mario Vizcarra: hey! this is great thanks... but I have a problem... in linux i get this
message: mv: can't rename '/system/recovery-from-boot.p': No such file or
directory I beg for help
mwmany2: it says "no a500 USB debbuging detected"
blackthund3r Channel: @mrhappysad not to worry v6 is just a large update and it will work w/ the
blackthund3r Channel: @charpego Ensure USB Debugging is enabled and that you have the latest
version of ICS Root (I'm pushing out an update every 0.5 ~ 3 days at the
moment to handle new leaks and add new features)

debugging mode, but the root tool is saying "no a500 with debugging
connected". any ideas?
