Did this video help you?

Rudy Smd: Here i am using nylon fishing net lol.. also working very cheap

3D Printwiz: If it is strong as steel then I would buy it. By the way what does temperature stability of 4 mean, at what temperature does it deform?

D Nick: I wish there were a comparison between the various "Carbon Nylons" like NylonX, CarbonX, Protopasta and Onyx. For the end user these all seem exactly the same, yet costs vary quite a bit. The blends are proprietary so there's no other way than good scientific testing to make heads or tails of the marketing. 20% chopped up carbon mixed with Nylon... What type of Nylon? Is it really 20% What type of mixing and extruding was used? Etc... Help!

Aditya Ramachandran: Can you explain how you said it was a composite...? Would that mean the carbon fiber is woven into the nylon to be an infill? I have no idea

Mickxal: Bruh that's the price of a dyi printer

Patrik Thors: I would love to see a review of the XT-CF 20!

Dape Part: Thanks for the great review Thomas!

Ryukachoo: i think this is exactly what i need for motor mounts and gears. Nylon's wear resistance but not as flexible. it may not be as strong as pure nylon but it'll hold its shape very well right up until it snaps

Jai Stanley: Hi Thom. I am just printing a 3D Benchy using some new RigidInk Nylon-cf samples sent to me. Any chance of a review to compare? I'll tweet a picture when done.

Bakamoichigei: At that price, I'd have myself a good cry any time something misprinted! :P

ArcanePath360: Cool, I think I'll buy some... wait... HOW MUCH????

Vince Hogg: Seems we still have no holy grail of filaments. They are all Jack of all, masters of none. There are rewards waiting for some company who invents the perfect filament, but will FDM continue much longer? There are companies working on thermoset plastics which I hope will be a major breakthrough soon, perhaps 5x stronger with no warp and easy printing. Dream on?

Lagger Onesixfour: Another great video! Keep up the amazing work Thomas!

Gaming Laboratories: Awesome video! Keep up the great work!!!

Cory Ryker: Have you tested 3DXTech Carbon X? Curious as to which would be better in an apples to apples test.

Jai Stanley: Thom. What was the warping like? The cf in colorfab xt cf-20 seems to stabilise it a lot, and prevent the curling on over-hangs that I HATE about copolyester/petg.

Also, would this print better on garolite board like the makerforge has?

Evert Chin: The benchy looks amazing.

Jonathan Wong: 3DXTech sells Carbon Fbier reinforced nylon for $45USD/lb or $90USD/kg. $80USD/kg if you buy the extra large rolls.

Ryan Garrison: Whats the deal with the top of the 3D benchy?

Jacob Hernandez: dat finish mmm
wonder how xt cf20 holds up
