M4 Carbine: the buffer tube is a pain in the ass when you install an asap plate. holding down the buffer retainer and the rear detent spring and pushing the plate down AND TRYING TO INSTALL THE LITTLE ASS PEG FOR THE ASAP PLATE WITH ONE HAND WHILS SCREWING ON BUFFER WITH THE OTHER HAND. I DID IT LOL IT WAS A PAIN IN THE REAR. I BENT ME REAR TAKE DOWN PIN SPRING BY SMASHING IT UNDER THE ASAP PLATE I FLIPPED IT OVER AND IT WORKS FINE STILL LOL.

4256573: "Detente" means trigger or the relaxing of tensions between nations. The word you are looking for is "detent" which is a spring-loaded mechanism to restrain something. It is pronounced "de-tent."
