Did this video help you?

DL Spamalot: Did he call the 2nd Amendment tacky?

Brandon Tackett: lol I'm glad so many others has corrected him on his pronunciation of detent. I struggled really hard to finish the vid. DEE TENT! good vid though.

Perry the Platypus: wait wait wait... Did he just say "Day-taunt"? What is a Daytaunt?

Steve C: This is really weird!

detectivestes: I did this. Worked perfectly. Thanks Nick.

Alcochaser: deeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeetent

Brandon 5.56: the buffer tube is a pain in the ass when you install an asap plate. holding down the buffer retainer and the rear detent spring and pushing the plate down AND TRYING TO INSTALL THE LITTLE ASS PEG FOR THE ASAP PLATE WITH ONE HAND WHILS SCREWING ON BUFFER WITH THE OTHER HAND. I DID IT LOL IT WAS A PAIN IN THE REAR. I BENT ME REAR TAKE DOWN PIN SPRING BY SMASHING IT UNDER THE ASAP PLATE I FLIPPED IT OVER AND IT WORKS FINE STILL LOL.

Conrad B: DEE-TENT! freakING DEE-TENT!!

Jonny H: pivot pin detent installation tool ar-15 you can purchase for about 5 dollars very easy.....just google it many sites come up, takes seconds to install

4256573: "Detente" means trigger or the relaxing of tensions between nations. The word you are looking for is "detent" which is a spring-loaded mechanism to restrain something. It is pronounced "de-tent."

Josh Phillips: Thanks for the great video, doing some research before i start my first build

detectivestes: Nick - Thank You!!

Klaatu Barrada Nicktoh: de·tente /dāˈtänt/ noun: détente; plural noun: détentes; noun: detente; plural noun: detentes the easing of hostility or strained relations, especially between countries. *********************************************************************************** de-tent dih-tent noun, Machinery a mechanism that temporarily keeps one part in a certain position relative to that of another, and can be released by applying force to one of the parts. Please read this.... You need it bad!

Daniel day lewis: So So video up to the tacky second amendment comment then it got turned off!

Brandon S: Awesome video. Your video was all I needed! I'm just hoping the spring part with the trigger was correct!

Dustin Fugate: Had no idea Nick had a channel. Awesome!

mega_Cummings: Great video, just built my lower while watching your video. Thanks a lot great quality video and easy to follow along.

Adam Kushner: LOL "a hammer or a large rock" Great video

Zeph: I like the 'Hope/Change" safety markings. Relevance, ya know?

Di Ramirez: Thanks, I just assembled a lower following your video.

USMC Redneck: I utilized your video to assist me in assembling my Spike's Tactical lower. That front takedown pin detent is a nightmare! Haha, thanks for the great, informative video.

Flo Nunu: Thank you. You helped me build my first completed ar lower on my own.

jonathan lavigne: new britian connecticut freak yeah good crap comes from there. to bad they just banned it lmao

craigtone: Well ... the video was informative as I will be attempting my first lower build this weekend ... However, the video was very painful to watch! Between using Vise-Grips and scratching your finish (this is why they make AR punch sets), dropping parts, flinging parts across the room, I am shocked you manage to function normally throughout the day ... LOL! And BTW, it is pronounced "dee-tent", NOT "day-tant" or "dee-tant".

Tasteslikedaniel: put my lower together with this video thanks alot, real easy to follow instructions

WholeCosmos: Sorry I couldn't keep watching after you stripped the finish with VICE GRIPS! WTF? FAIL!

NoOneImportant556: WTF is a "De-taunt"? De-tent... Drove me nuts lol

Tyler Hopwood: On your engraving, is that a china marker/grease pencil? If so, did it hold up well after firing several rounds?

echoThreeOneSix: Great video, I plan on building mine in a week or so. I'm sure this video will help me a lot. Thanks for your time.

SavageShooter93: "detaunt" spring lol. that was cracking me up man. from dictionary.com pronunciation "dih-tent" i hate to be one of those jackasses that gets on someone over pronunciation but i literally giggled like an idiot every time I heard you say that. Great vid though, I never thought I would laugh my ass off watching a lower receiver being assembled

D Jacques: Question on the dis-connector spring, everything I read online says to put the flared end down into the trigger, but in the video it appears you say to put the spring with the small end down. Can someone clarify how that spring should be installed. This is my first build.

smelson666: great video brother lot of info I just got me a stripped lower and the parts kit with the help of your video I hope I can put it together myself, thanks!!!!!!

Ice Ice Jewy: What would be a better idea? This is not a troll, I'm genuinely curious.

blunt3068: wtf is a day taunt?

professor115: roll pin starter tool with a hammer

Joseph Thomas: It seems so easy

Josh Beck: Thank you very much.

MrToothrot: zombies are not real sir.

G Martin: Thank You Nick!

Godot: I love how he does it in stages with only 3 or so parts per stage. That really helps break down the whole process into manageable chunks.

Kephra Rubin: It's weird when old people say zombies are a "kick" when Night of the Living Dead came out in 1968. Yep, people are gonna stop wanting to shoot zombies any decade now.

Hashirama Senju: I was watching the Midway video and regarding the disconnect or spring, the large end should go into the trigger side hole...if that makes sense.

Jeffrey Collins: 3rd gun you scratched using vice grips like a retard

Le Van: deeeeetant and detant :)))

M-squared: The third gun you've scratched the finish on getting the roll pin in for the bolt catch? And you still think that is the best method for installing the pin? What is the proper way to install it WITHOUT scratching the finish?

rogerwilco99: A nit pick but it REALLY annoyed me. There are detents on a lower. There are no detentes on a lower. Detent is pronounced DEE TENT. Not DAY TANT. Detente is DAY TANT. Sorry but that just really got on my nerves because you kept saying it incorrectly over and over and over. I stopped watching before you even finished the first take-down pin because I just couldn't stand hearing English being mangled anymore.

SeikanJax: Oh, crap! that is annoying... I might not be able to finish this video. Right now I'm at 5:13.

Matthew Nena: Who cares. Dee tent. Shut up.The video is good.

Tom Young: DAY TAHNT[dey-tahnt; French dey-tahnt] - To reduce pressure... Welll Done my friend... Excellent video. Thanks !

Wooster: dee-tent
