Jeffrey Furtado: I own a 4cylinder 2010 SE Camry. With over 116,000 miles on this car I have not had one repair.
The only bad thing is that Toyota cheapened the interior from pass generations.
I am not old, also reliability, is huge in my opinion. Another thing this was the last generation of the 18.5 gallon fuel tank generation 6. More driving fuel range is a big deal in this class of car.
The 2012 generation 7 has only a 17 gallon fuel tank.
Andrea Salmon: toyato camery is not for old people only .toyato is the best selling cars to most consumers because of its realibility and fuel efficient and toyato are not a race car and it's a family car as well people are complaining too much maybe people on here wants to buy ford focus cray car and the rest of the ford line up cap they get a lots of car recalls toyato is way better
Master Yoda: Another rev head, oops motoring writer obsessed with speed and power, You purchase a car for suitability of purpose, for example if you want to tow boats, you are going to need a V8, if you want speed, you buy a sports cars, but if you want a reliable, no nonsense car, you buy a Toyota Camry.
David James: i havn't been able to figure out why i have never bought a Camry... that must be it.... i give a chit about what i drive... huh.... ok... lol...
ocean zhu: at least this v6 is fast
1979irock: maybe it would be fun if you shut up and drove the car
fordryan0930: This guy is not "just a Toyota/Camry hater", nor is he a "pissed off guy with verbal diarrhea". I'm exactly like him. I'm passionate about cars, and love to drive them. The Camry's steering injects no pleasure whatsoever. The Ford Fusion, on the other hand, has amazing handling. I wish I could trust the Fusion more on the reliability standpoint. However, I still choose the Fusion.
1979irock: A typical Honda lover talking crap on the Toyota who always outsell Honda year after year,
Victor W: Yes
Monsieur Africain: Indeed, but even the 4 cyl version is no slouch either. The V6 Camry though is more like a Lexus, comfortable, fast, Luxurious, everything really. The reviewer is just a Toyota/Camry hater. He does not realise that the V6 engine in this Camry is also used in many Lexus models.
Monsieur Africain: Yah the 4cyl Camry even packs a punch (all Camry engines do). But I would really love to drive and own an 07 - present V6 XLE fully loaded :D (does not have to be fully loaded I could always add aftermarket nav I guess).
Monsieur Africain: 100% agree, the V6 Camry engine is amazing, I have seen it take on 535i, 335i, 528i Bimmers. There is a reason why Lexus uses that same V6 engine in their ES, GS, IS, RX models.
Monsieur Africain: 100% agree
Monsieur Africain: So one person's biased review makes you not want to buy a car? interesting
Monsieur Africain: 100% agree with you Freddy, the Gen 5, Gen 6, and Gen 7 Camrys are all excellent cars. I have driven all except the Gen 6 extensively, drives like a luxury car. There is a reason why Consumer reports gave it a 93.
Monsieur Africain: Umm I like cars, I care about cars, what you said is a huge generalisation. I love the Camry. It is a car lover's car. Reviewer sounds like a typical Toyota hater.
Speedysnail9999: I don't like this guy. He shows too much negativity for Camry. Too much of his opinion
Victor W: I was in the market but this review totally made me not want to buy a Camry :S
Jason Dominguez: Do you really knows about cars??? Horrible review!!!
oldtwins: Horrible review. Worse than the most amateurish reviews out there. Totally discredit yourself when you dismiss this engine as some kind of POS, when it is one of the most reliable and powerful V6 engines out there while being fantastically economical without stupid tricks like CVT (Altima) or cylinder deactivation (accord)
