Chris Garcia: Thanks man that creeking noise been bothering me for a while
DaemoniumCC: Ohhhh. Well yeah, it didn't work. I tried another method which worked okay.
I heated it up (the battery and gpu) and clamped it down for 5-6 hours.
Then let it cool for another 2-3 hours still clamped. Worked wonders.
baddspella: The screws are the issues here, once they were rightened up ir was all
Fntshdrgn: Thanx for the bid was trying to find how to access the back cuz my second
tab in one day failed to charge with flickering screen. I found out the
battery connection was loose and had to be removed and replaced bids from
me soon. Disappointing Asus doesn't test b4 shipping
baddspella: thanks for the tip, ill post it in the description
Daniel Torres: work for me, thanks a lot, now my nexus 7 is perfect
gutenmuach: hey thanks, I'll give them a call, cheers!
Jacobwish93: Thanks this worked for me!
MrShadowstardust: Hey thanks it works what I did was unscrew it then screw it back but not to
tight or it might break the screen
Warner Williams: Can you please help me? I want to know who too call because I think I have
this problem with my 16gb nexus I got it from Amazon, so should I call them
Google or Asus.
SilencerRemix: Thanks dude! Managed too sort it out. If it happens again then will tighten
all the screws on the left side.
mohammad tanveer: hey There! Where could i buy Nexus 7 replacement Glass
Joshua Mouncer: Cheers worked perfectly, now lets just hope this lasts! :)
baddspella: this is a verry populer method to fix it and has worked for many people (do
a google seach) if it dosnt then get it repaired. up to you
DaemoniumCC: I just did this and was amazed to see that I don't even have 4 screws! I
only have 2. I tightened those 2 down and the problem is a little better.
Now I just have to get two more screws and tighten the bugger in..
taylor jones: Would it be better to leave it on?
Satyanarayana Penmetsa: thanks, my issue was resolved.
ethan paffe: Okay well without locktight this fix will wear off so use that or just
contact google or asus
jambub: this was the only thing stopping me buying a nexus 7, but after seeing how
easy that was, im 100% getting one. ill wait for the 32gb model
Dogstreet: Seems to have worked well... would advise tightening screws on both sides
regardless of where the problem is. On my first try I just did the left,
but when I put the back on I found that the right now creaked so I did it
again - thanks for the did! :-)
Crysisdude1: Erm... I have no screws where that located lmfao
baddspella: waw man, i wouldnt bother trying to get the screws, i would send that one
off. they send you a replacement tablet befor you have to ship your one off
so that you are not left emtyhanded.
Carlos Garcia: Does this void warrenty
Swissguy: Remove the little black foam on the left side....this black foam push the
screen out when closing the back cover.... This black foam is too thick.
Steven Walters: So did "fixing" it fix it or make it worse after about 2 minutes?
Carmen Cosme: Hi i need the phone number but my tablet broke in the front crack i bougth
one month thanks
Dave86413: just glue the dam thing down...worked for me..
jimmysl87: The screws you are missing is what ASUS thought was causing the screen
separation, so they removed them on all newer batches of Nexus 7.
Unfortunately it doesn't seem to have solved the issue.
mance283: Where was the crack at I didn't see it but I will pay you to fix mine
Polo22667733: Who do I call to get this fixed?
baddspella: Glad i could help man.
belljam23: Just tried this fix and it does indeed work. I had 3 particularly loose
screws on the spongy side. Really shameful quality control to allow this to
happen. Anyway, all is well - screen is tight to the case on all sides now.
Derp1Productions: i need help on mine it cracked when I dropped it the crack isn't to severe,
but the screen stopped working when I try to unlock my screen lock it
doesn't show the green bar thing. Any help?
DaemoniumCC: Thing is, I bought mine in the US, and I live in Europe. And OF COURSE it
happened when I came back here :) It's not that big of a deal, but I'm
trying the "heating" method now, while having it clamped down. If that
doesn't work I may take it in for repair or sth.
eddy palmer: I had screen lift on nexus 7 16 gig, called google, sent replacement,
google told me to send dogdy one to asus or they would not release my £200,
replacement come with same screen lift, asus roostered up and sent repaired
one back to us with screen lift fixed perfect so i kept that one and sent
replacement back, so it can be reapaired properly.
MichaelJohnLayton: Hey just a quick heads up for anyone who might read this, I'm now on my
third nexus 7 32g model and they also have the screen lift issue as well,
so watch out, i will see if I can sort out the screws on mine, have been
going all about London now for the past week to Every HMV taking mine back
and I just don't give a rats arse now, just want one that works and feels
Fntshdrgn: Marmlax you will have to search the web for how to and replacement parts
odds are someone out there sells them
FlyingPinguin88: This just makes it worse after about two minutes if 'fixing' it.
Bob Smith: thanks for the video, i also had screws missing on the left side. i'll fix
once i get a couple of those screws.
Scott Martin: I have a very slight creak does this actually work?
gutenmuach: where are the free repair from google? im in Australia.
Fntshdrgn: Sorry I meant vids not bids
Scott Martin: Gave it a go very easy to do and so far does seem more strong did the fix
last on yours ?
daveaultman: Mine didn't start creaking/separating until a month ago; and I was an
original purchaser way back when. This fix was easy enough to attempt, but
even after tightening down all the screws as tight as I dared, still a
major amount of give/creak. Guess it's time for warranty repair before the
warranty runs out.
baddspella: You have to call the google play store, 02- 93364966 They will ship you a
new tablet and you have to ship your one back.
Jim Halpert: I've been to haunted houses with better lighting than this video.
Kevin K: todays language, it seems no one can talk without cursing, even if its typed
