Did this video help you?

Scott Gardner: I used a steam iron, and a 50 50 alcohol water mix. That cut the glue very well. windex did not work as well

SGM Brandon Conover: Very nice, thanks for the info

RellekEarth: Just did this right now and it absolutely works. I didnt have a razor like that and access to a hair dryer so I waited until the sun hit the window optimally to heat it up. I used my own nails to start the peel and it came off exactly like that. The windex worked beautifully as well. Thumbs up from me, my guy. Thank you for the incredibly helpful video. Cheers

J e n: This video was very helpful!!! Thanks

Sylvia Reyes: Thanks so much for this fantastic video. I used a combo of a generic window cleaner, Dawn with water and ammonia...about 1/2 ammonia, 1/4 window cleaner with about 1/8 cup Dawn and 1/4 water. I then cut the garbage bag covers for each window, sprayed and covered each window (I also sprayed on top of the plastic to make it very easy to smooth out over the window. Then it sat in the bright sun for about 1 hour. I continued with the instructions and...PRESTO! It peeled right off with practically no residue to clean up. For the little glue blotches left, I took some steel wool and sprayed the same solution; the glue lifted right off onto the steel wool!

Helene Mahoney: WHICH WINDEX?

Helene Mahoney: which windex

theschoolpsych: I never imagined this video would become so popular. Thank you everyone for all the comments and even the criticisms. I read them all and try to respond to each one good or bad! Keep them coming. Chad

S Ubes: Just did with a hair dryer on my M3 worked great, ready for new tint tomorrow

John: Windex also worked great when I had to remove glue left over from a big sticker on a new cake pan! Just let it sit and then scrubbed with a sponge. Rinsed very well. This video was a double help then.

Etienne Sprangers: Thanks for taking the time to post this

Michael Caswell: I think if you had sprayed the top of the window, once you'd pulled a little tint sheet back, keeping liquid between the tint and glass, the liquid would have lubricated the glass and the tint would pull off easier.

RiotontheRadioMSCR: How did you manage to get the tint off the windows that don't roll down?

Patty Daffron: As he mentioned in the video, he purchased the SUV with windows already tinted. His is '04 and my Camry is '05 and I am having the same issues. Windex is the last thing I would have tried but going to give it a try.

silverskoundrel: Thank you

Walt Schmidt: Next step. Get that cat out of there.

JillyBean860: Good video. I have one window that needs to have the tint redone after the window motor was repaired and the tint got scraped up. I'm not paying someone to do something so easy.

Krista Homola: This video is amazing!!! I was quoted 200 just to take tint off! My husband and I have never done anything with tint before and this video was so fantastic we got both windows off in about 30 minutes! We had trouble in the same corner you did and I ended up using the scraper and some tweezers to get that last bit out but this was great! Thank you!

Estelio Konto: You shoulda use goo gone you can find it at any autozone
