Neurotic Nation: Just happened to stumble onto this video doing some research on my Blazer.
I enjoyed the video but I have to admit an aversion to auto mechanics. I
have one of the best auto mechanics I've ever known but he makes me buy the
parts he uses on our vehicles. After viewing this video and a quick visit
to your website I've added 1A to my list of parts sources. Great video and
an equally great business philosophy. So long as there's cars on the road I
expect to see 1A around supplying parts. Great job guys!
Andrew Cushman: Thanks, easy instructions great tutorial!
glyates: Gave me enough info to change my belt in about 5 minute, thumbs up.
tiffany morinaga: So after you put the belt around the pully u don't need to tighten the
tension u can jus leave it as is it will self adjust as u start up the truck
Rick Brinkman: I didn't see the hole for the ratchet. Thanks!!!
samuel sanchez: tanks amigo!!nice and clean job!!

JamesD2023: All cars and pick-ups have a tensioner now-days. Serpentine belts got us
away from all the v-belts and such.

now. You've saved me money I don't even have.

FunnyDkk: so if it has a tensioner you dont need to tighten the belt to a specific
1A Auto Parts: @morpheuspimp863 On this vehicle it has a serpentine belt tensioner that
automatically adds tension, so the tensioner will adjust with the belt.
Hope this helps you out.

FunnyDkk: its your tensioner
Prestige Master: Thanks
Lilljoescratch: This was very helpful thanks.
1A Auto Parts: You're welcome. Have a great day!
1A Auto Parts: @morpheuspimp863 It has a serpentine belt tensioner with a pulley on it
that adds tension to the belt, so that you do not need to tighten it. It
should be on the front of the motor near the top.
1A Auto Parts: The belt may be bad, or the belt tensioner itself may need to be replaced.
Todd Weller: Thanks! This helped me get mine on really fast!
Jay TockOhead: Our local Fastlube wanted $150 for this little piece of brilliance. I
bought the belt for $20 and, after watching this video, got the job done in
20 min. I would say "thanks a million", but I think "thanks $130" is more
1A Auto Parts: The belt tensioner on this vehicle automatically provides the proper amount
of tension on the belt. Usually when they need to be replaced the belt will
squeek due to the tensioner starting to fail.
