Erick Arellano: I've recently did a alternator on a similar S10 4.3 vortex. but for some odd reason the belt feels loose I should add that I didn't even need to push down on the tensioner pulley.
[ithy]: Hey thanks for the help, our blazer didn't have the image for the belt and when we were working on the car it accidentally came off and we couldn't originally get it back on right. Finishing working on the blazer in the morning.
Lvis Pazley: Awesome job... Like the time-lapse...
Shelli Bailey: Thanks guys! The tip about the using the ratchet on the tension pulley was boss and saved a lot of grief for me. As a single female I HATE to ask one of my brothers to do stuff for me and you made this SO easy. (And face it, guys are always impressed when a girl works on her own vehicles! lol)
Neurotic Nation: Just happened to stumble onto this video doing some research on my Blazer. I enjoyed the video but I have to admit an aversion to auto mechanics. I have one of the best auto mechanics I've ever known but he makes me buy the parts he uses on our vehicles. After viewing this video and a quick visit to your website I've added 1A to my list of parts sources. Great video and an equally great business philosophy. So long as there's cars on the road I expect to see 1A around supplying parts. Great job guys!
Andrew Cushman: Thanks, easy instructions great tutorial!
Gerry Yates: Gave me enough info to change my belt in about 5 minute, thumbs up.
1A Auto Parts: The belt tensioner will automatically put the proper tension on the serpentine belt for you. 1aauto.com 888-844-3393
tiffany morinaga: The idoler puller sorry?
tiffany morinaga: So after you put the belt around the pully u don't need to tighten the tension u can jus leave it as is it will self adjust as u start up the truck
carl watson: that belt is not new oh i get it they just showing how
1A Auto Parts: The tensioner will self adjust to put the correct amount of pressure on the serpentine belt.
Kevin Bell: The only question I have that didn't get answered is: After installing the belt, how tight do you tighten the tension bolt?
