Ron Hagberg: Does the sling make it hard to put it in the bag? I guess if you run out of ammo you can always take it apart and use it as a pair of nunchucks.
schauman1: So you think the ruger 10/22 stainless steel takedown is ok for appleseed? Thanks ps. Enjoyed your video!!
CastleDoctrine87: You have a fuzzy white cat attached to your face. :) I wish my beard was that long. Good video.
Cameron Brummett: Nice Ron Paul shirt, I have that exact one. And soon, I will have the Appleseed patches as well. Thank for making this video, I just bought a 10/22 Takedown, tech sights, GI sling, and 1 1/4 sling mounts and this video covered everything I was curious about...except why Ruger would not make the Takedown with sling mounts. Puzzling.
Crash Johnson: The 10/22 is popular rifle, but the Marlin 60 is the best selling 22 rifle ever.
thenewsurvivalist: If you are not comfortable doing it yourself you should get someone else to do it.
Stacie Stockman: Ok, Im not very handy with tools, should I get a gunsmith to do sling mount work?
thenewsurvivalist: From the Appleseed store. They have the best quality I have seen. Appleseedinfo period org
No compliance: Where'd you get your GI sling? Thanks
ThefNaTiCdude: I'd rather have a marlin 600 for about 150 bucks i have found it to be more accurate only upside for the ruger is the aftermarket add ons. And the detachable mag. Just my two cents
spicecrop: Manuals are for pussies. LOL.
Sucklefish: Yeah the guy explaining it was the idiot.... right.
Scout Sniper: That magazine sucks! Get a ruger bx-25
thenewsurvivalist: Removing the barrel band doe not affect accuracy.
mcjon77: Does removing the barrel band affect accuracy? I was thinking about getting a 10/22 takedown (my first firearm) for an appleseed, but was concerned about the sling putting too much pressure on the stock. I like your sling setup a lot.
Donald Freer: hey check this out. i bought one for my 10/22 take down. go to Google and type this in.
AGP Folding Stock For Ruger 10/22 Takedown
Lagrew Chez: I had the take down model and was very disappointed with it. I prefer the sporter model. The takedown model could have a scope mounted onto it. The only problem with that is every time you break the barrel off you lose your zero. The takedown model is great with open sights. It is a great survival rifle. But if you like an every day rifle choose the wood stock 10/22.
Chuck U Farley: you are 100% correct
tony93666: sweet vid! I love everything Ruger makes.
mmmbbqq: sweet! you could put that bad boy in a laptop bag and conceal carry a .22 rifle
