Philip Pacho: Andrew do you make and sell these? I need a gassifation stove that can be temperature controlled but using wood or char as fuel. Let me know. Thanks
Graydon Legg: hey what brand of temperature controllers did you use and how did u set it up? i'm building one similar and i am at the part where i need to figure out how to get air in and how to monitor how much the fire needs..
Valeriy Doniy: Oh! Colleague. Well it is possible and more efficiently. I have done differently. video on my channel.
Painter D: I just copied how the Volgelzang Darango is made inside. Click on the video here on Youtube and also look at their PDF, which shows a blown up schematic of the entire stove and how it's put together. Pretty simple to add the needed pieces to make any stove more effiecient.
Painter D: Must go thru wood like a kid in a candy store with forced air forcing oxygen on the wood like that? I thought of making mine into some kind of rocket stove setup with natural aspirating air burning the wood and not forced. Now instead Ijust installed a 1/4" steel baffle and air tubes to burn up the smoke. It burns cleaner, hotter, no smoke and no creosode to tend with. A lot less ash too.
andrewsengineering: Currently I don't have anything drawn up on this.
andrewsengineering: Yes, forced air furnace.
Tim S: any plans available? I would like to buy some.
Lester McMurray: I would love to see inside one of these without a fire burning, where and how many air injectors are inside, how big the opening is from top to bottom chamber.
andrewsengineering: The furnace heats my shop...
Jay the Aussie: very interesting. what does it heat?
