Jeff Perrin: My cousin's daughter brought me her laptop to try and bypass this password issue about a year ago. She has a L505 model, not seeing any two points to short out. She told me to keep it and she'd just get a new one. I'm doing some spring cleaning and ran across this unit again and thought I'd take another crack at it again. Any advice while I'm searching through videos for an answer.

steven A: Hey DYI Tech, I have a couple of questions about my Toshiba Satellite Vista, Model A205 Laptop. First one issue is that when I boot it up and once on, if I need to plug the power supply to it, it Freezes and will stay frozen. I have to charge it then reboot to use it without plugging in.? Second I can't get any update so its vulnerable and outdated. I lost the the software disc also. Finally when I can use it the battery life is short and periodically will shut down unexpectedly. Fan work!! Anyhow do you have anything to help with these issues..
