Did this video help you?

Robert C Campbell: Jim you want to draw the mug in 2D, first. So, you click on in canvas viewport located in the upper right space in the workspace area. Select 2D wireframe. Go to the MODEL button and click on it (Button located on the Status Bar below Command Window on the right side of the bar).

muskokamike2: I've been using autocad for about 20 yrs and with EVERY 3d tutorial or video, they ALWAYS use the simplest design possible. In this case, circles. Those are so easy to extrude. How about doing something a little more complicated made out of multiple lines, curves, and/or separate entities?

nadirsha aazim: i've road layout plan in 2d i want to change to 3d.Because some time i want to take Original Ground Level(OGL) if I've 3d drawing i can take easily.I m using 2013 version of cad. Please help me...thnk u...

Anthany Robbins: Ultra straight forward, great tutorial! Thanks for posting!

sixstring1991: thanks for the help!

Timugin Othman: Very helpful - thanks !

TheBelieve111: god damn! in 90 secs!!!

niknuraini89: why my autocad dont have 3D modelling??? it only have drafting and autocad classic

SimKelsey9: this is so helpful! We just got the new one at school (updating from 2004) and I'm the only one working in 3D and I couldn't figure out how to get the smooth sufaces(conceptual) from the wireframing. Plus I learned new tools too! Thanks :D

BILL HARTLEY: Easy peezie! thanks

PhuckYewMaine: ahahahahaha!

sayan das: holy smokes!

Manu Mitra: That's what I am looking to get started. Its been hours to figure it out. Let me know this noob if you got something.

Yu Hu: Man, too fast for beginners. Could you please slow down a little bit and make more vocal comments?

Matias Diaz Duran: Firsts seconds u were so fast mi mind blew now i am typing this message from the hospital. post

G. Alex Robinson: ok this is great... but i need to know how to creat the 2d first lol....how do you have the center axis in it??

arion veshaj: Very helpful demonstration. Thanks!

Mazen mazz: i thought theres some thing new and smart plugin in autocad to create it in easy way like just give autocad plans and it will be convert to 3d model....... what u hv done is ( modeling and extrude manually )

G. Alex Robinson: wow i feel like such an idiot... i can't figure out how to center the handle in the right side view, find the center of the rectangle, make the symmetric purple lines like you have.. and that is supposed to be the easy stuff... first day, 4 hours and i dont even have a damn rectangle with another rectangle in the center of it

Eula Biezen: Real good example, You explain what you are doing, and specify each step. I tried to mimick you, it's taking me 3 days, and rewatched the video at least 7 times. Still not done

Orf: Please explain what is goin on. There are so many points a newb can make mistakes. You are obviously good with Autodesk. But you suck at tutorials.

Mohammed Faheem: This video was very useful for an amateur on autocad 3d. Thanks mate.

AsteroidSized Zit: 2 years later this guy is still working on this video

FHull1: Yes it is - but not with only one picture. You need to take quite a few all around the person.

Sam Clark: Something must have changed for 2013, when I look at the conceptual the whole thing is solid. It doesn't appear to recognize the inner rings.

Cris Edits: thank you helped alot

Kanchan Kumari: mind blowing

Paul Brazier: This is the best no b/s intructional video I have ever watched, in moments it answered a miriad of questions. I reckon your a god dammed genius or a professional lecturer.
