Blood Shadow: I made my antenna with just a coax cable and a wine bottle. I can catch 19 channels with it.
Bill Wilkat: You are fortunate--I made one and it works fairly well, but I only get 5 channels, and only 3 are strong enough to enjoy watching. However, I'm in a low area where there's other homes higher than me that block the signal. But, I also had to use an amplifier to boost the signal strength. Regardless is works better than those flat RCA units. I also found an old UHF ring antenna I attached to a board and it works equally well, and takes up much less space!
Geoffrey Albert: reminds me of Zed from citizens on patrol, in the movie blow when they are testing the blow %. 0:45.
culoattack: hey bro. i did the same thing seriously it work. i work as a loss prevention officer for sears. and the time when the world cup was going on. the company bought a really expenseve antenna. it suck ass. so i built this one and took it to work and all the workers were amaze.....

YaCantHandleTheTruth: Hey...is that a toshiba 40" tv 1080i? I own that one and i'm debating on buying a powered hd antena or making your awesome working hillbilly one for 1/4 of the cost. You Rock! I'm only using the antena built inside the tv for now!
frankiebatsu: i just built one it works awesome in the attic i have it split 3 ways and get 40 channels so far without aming it
but it did not work well on ground level
unclepoo: Yes there is, First of all DISH Network Sells a Converter box called the DTVPal
Secondly most stations have already begun broadcasting digital channels, and many of those broadcast up to 6 channels each So in a good area all he would have to pick up is 13 stations broadcasting 6 digital channels each, and he would have his 77 channels easily
kjh0213: Yeah you'll get KTLA if ur in broadcast range.
kjh0213: No if you're talking about clear QAM, just plug it in the TV, no need antenna(I think you know), and you'll probably get some channels.
BottleFilms: maybe the antenna is strong!
humbert0acevedo: Will this also work on DTV Cable?
