mschrader1971: higher is always better you could always use a inline amplifier
Si Tang: how far away are you away from the transmission tower? which city you live?
skyh2k: I'm so mad, I only got 13 ch.. live in ATL Suck..
humbert0acevedo: Will this also work on DTV Cable?
Robert Anderson: I live in landers and get 7 channels
Jean0987654321: @rep0eagle wtf
YaCantHandleTheTruth: Hey...is that a toshiba 40" tv 1080i? I own that one and i'm debating on
buying a powered hd antena or making your awesome working hillbilly one for
1/4 of the cost. You Rock! I'm only using the antena built inside the tv
Dark Shadow: I made my antenna with just a coax cable and a wine bottle. I can catch 19
channels with it.
jose ramos: wtf i want mine to b like dat my piece of crap wont work idk wat da hell i
did wrong fuk send mi one i'll pay u lol j/p awsome antenna though
BottleFilms: maybe the antenna is strong!
Bill Wilkat: You are fortunate--I made one and it works fairly well, but I only get 5
channels, and only 3 are strong enough to enjoy watching. However, I'm in a
low area where there's other homes higher than me that block the signal.
But, I also had to use an amplifier to boost the signal strength.
Regardless is works better than those flat RCA units. I also found an old
UHF ring antenna I attached to a board and it works equally well, and takes
up much less space!
statacaster095: oh my god we only get 60 channels on basic cable! screw the 40 dollars a
month im building me a hi-def antenna!!!
kjh0213: i think its digital + analog result.
frankiebatsu: i just built one it works awesome in the attic i have it split 3 ways and
get 40 channels so far without aming it but it did not work well on ground
kjh0213: And he's living in LA. KTLA is in LA.
kjh0213: No if you're talking about clear QAM, just plug it in the TV, no need
antenna(I think you know), and you'll probably get some channels.
gas4harley: It would have been great if you had mention your location. Are you in New
York City or the hills in North Carolina? That's a lot of channels!
kjh0213: Yeah you'll get KTLA if ur in broadcast range.
Geoffrey Albert: reminds me of Zed from citizens on patrol, in the movie blow when they are
testing the blow %. 0:45.
unclepoo: Yes there is, First of all DISH Network Sells a Converter box called the
DTVPal Secondly most stations have already begun broadcasting digital
channels, and many of those broadcast up to 6 channels each So in a good
area all he would have to pick up is 13 stations broadcasting 6 digital
channels each, and he would have his 77 channels easily
culoattack: hey bro. i did the same thing seriously it work. i work as a loss
prevention officer for sears. and the time when the world cup was going on.
the company bought a really expenseve antenna. it suck ass. so i built this
one and took it to work and all the workers were amaze.....
justin M: wait..how could it find 77 channels??? that's impossible...there is only
like 5-6 main broadcast stations..and even with the digital stations there
is only like 1-3 digital sub stations...
