Joseluis Vb: Can you please tell me what kind of fuel pump does the 7.5 Ted Williams need ???
Oscar Aguero: Do you have to take that plug off for them to run
SCREECHTRUMPET1: This looks like a newer design than my 1975 Ted Williams 7.5 HP motor. It look like water comes out the exhaust port in neutral, mine only has water come out the exhaust port when it is in shifted in to gear.
jim b: I have one of these. Where is the model number on this? My 7.5 is frozen, unable to pull the starter cord. Took off the top and the flywheel only move about an 1/8 of an inch forwards or backwards. The forward neutral reverse lever pushes down and then back to neutral, but does not push up.
griggsb: Sorry, but I have since sold my Eska. Try Brix Enterprise, or Certified Parts Corp. They may have a decal for you. Good sources for Eska parts. Good luck.
Jason Hoffman: i just bought this outboard but it doesnt have the decal on the twist throttle, will u take a pic or video and post it of just the twist grip decal? thanks for the help
griggsb: @davidnandavid Thanks. This one is a keeper.
griggsb: @ooldschooll Thanks. I like to take small chances. I plan on keeping these Ted Williams, and Eska's (ones in my videos). I am looking for a boat that will handle the Eska 15 at least. I'd love to take them out and run them. My 12ft Appleby won't handle over a 5hp. What can you expect when boat was purchased in 1972 from TG&Y by my dad LOL. If I can find somebody to make decals, I am going to repaint the Eska 15, and Ted Williams 9.9.
griggsb: @ooldschooll Certified Parts Corp, Brix Enterprise, or Sears for parts. Solid state ignition is tough to find. I like these because lots of poeple don't like them. I usually get them for cheap. I got a 9.9 with a "bad" magneto for $40. Cleaned magneto, and it runs great.
