Elwyn Carrol: my 2004 Dodge Neon is making a growling noise when I drive forward its
driving me crazy.
wilmer jarquin: hi rich mi car is toyota camry it have code P0773
rick hctep: I think before I would have tackled that job the first thing I would have
done is steam cleaned that crap hole of an engine and engine bay out, just
a couple of grains of muck would have knackered the whole box up, plus if
it had been cleaned in the first place you would have seen where the leak
was straight away before wasting time and money doing an unnecessary gasket
Ricardo Rosales: Hi, why not only changing the Gaskets if there is a link coming from TCS?
Michelle Robinson: I have a 03 Dodge Ram 1500 Quad cab with trany prob no dr & overdr the
codes that come up are p0700/po703? HELP PLS
DrewThomas Arnal: Great video. Very helpful. Would a bad TC Solenoid cause a car to stall
when it's placed from park into drive or reverse?
Robert White: Thanks HEAPS
Great video, it worked!!
Timothy Dupree: Transmission control module him
Roberto Ramirez: my pcm suffered an injury in a crash for this reason my transmission does

Sarah Hurt: I have a 1999 Dodge Grand Caravan with a 3.8 V6 engine. It shifts really
hard when I put it in Drive from Reverse and I believe it is being stuck in
1st or 2nd because it seems like it won't shift at all. It stays between
2-3,000 RPM's and won't shift after 2nd. My husband said he doesn't believe
it's shifting out of 1st but it does for me. Any suggestions? Also, how do
you unplug the Torque Converter Plug? Thanks
Otis Woodfrinch: I recently changed a Dodge Caravan transmission and one of the connectors
had a square pins instead of rounds pins have you ever heard of that ?and
how do I address ?it is there an adapter for the connector
fisher white: hi i have a hard shifting trans 2005 corolla 277k now with

then it stops going I accelerate and the rpm goes up and it's on drive it's
as if u put it on nutral wen ur steal in drive can u help??
james dilks: one thing that makes it easier is to remove the cooler hoses to get to that
center bolt with a swivel or wobble extension, also on some 41te
transmossions on older vehicles there is a service bulliten that has to do
with tapping the case behind the solonoid due to the metal of the case
being too porous
timothy w: Similar what acura tL has
JAZCENIA PAREDEZ: Hello i have a problem i have a Town & Country 2004 and the gears do not
change my mechanic changed the transmission and once again it does not
change gears he put 2 transmissions in already he checked my computer and
it turns out thats still good to i dont know the problem what else does he
need to check so he can fix the problem. What do you think ?
richpin06a: On this neon after the install there was nothing else that had to be done.
dadrules714: What codes r U getting? turn key forward3x's w/o starting. leave forward on
3rd give u dash codes. had same prob w/ P300 random misfire. Battery was
bad + bad O2 sensor. Bad solenoid/ trans probs are usually in the P750
docker96: Thank you so much for all this information. What would your next move have
been if there were still a leak?
richpin06a: @Filmaker25 very little.
Shareallicu3: My dodge (grand caravan) is leaking transmission fluid :(
Muah Mawi: when changing the solenoid do I also have to replace the output and input
sensors? Please and Thank you this video us very helpful and saved me money!

CRIZIZFLICZ245: thanx for a great video man.
Kevin Davis: Is there a reason you didn't just remove those 2 hoses for easier access? I
love your videos, using the ones for timing belt and head on my 03 neon
right now. Thinking of buying an intrepid that needs this.
Filmaker25: Is this automatic?
omar flores: hi halljand hey i have the same problem with my eclipse gt 2001, my
cuestion is, it realy fix your problem with the new TCC solenoid? or it was
another thing? tanks
richpin06a: If you go to the Aamco web site you can chat with a certified transmission
richpin06a: It can leak from the solenoid or the gasket. When it leaks your fluid level
can get low leading to shifting problems.
richpin06a: The only thing i know about the P0742 is that a bad coolant temp sensor or
thermostat in some instances can set this code.
richpin06a: If the fluid is coming out from the solenoid area it could be it is not
sealing for some reason.
rich47owen: I HAVE A QUESTION 2000 neon check engine code 0743 comes on but my car runs
fine no shifting issues or anthing. got an suggestions should i replace the
torque converter clutch solenoid? i also called the dealer and they said
you have to buy that part in an all together pice you cant replace it
richpin06a: Not a lot came out.
mgalentine58: What about the "quick learn " procedure? I was told by my mechanic that it
had to be done.
meTimetraveler: I'm not a fan of Chrysler either, I am a Fan of America. If America is so
bad how come everyone from your country tries to come here whatever country
you live in. For one thing I am 6'5" and can't fit in your crap box Honda.
Honda has just had another recall of the latest. 100,000 cars for brakes.
Honda's are way over priced. BTW if you are in the USA get the Hell out we
have enough free loaders already.
davey084: great vid rich =)
richpin06a: @Gunshooter115 Automatic transmissions are something i do not get involved
in unless there is a leak or there are trouble codes.
ultim8brickie: hi, the two connetions you removed and labelled when you removed the 8mm
bolt from solenoid were the shift senors, also when you put back the new
solenoid you should cover the diaphram with something to stop dirt dropping
in during re-assembley
richpin06a: I found when i did this job there was a lot dirt and oil in the area which
took time to clean up.
briansmobile1: @richpin06a Richpin... you're awesome! It's no wonder you're so popular.
MegaGertis: great video. can a shift solenoid cause a no reverse on a 95 civic?
William Ross: Soooo nice and clear... thanks for posting!!
richpin06a: Yes because they do not want to come off that easy.
Muah Mawi: I did this whole process and when I turned on the car, all the transmission
oil wad coming out, would yo u know why? sos!
