Ivan Reyna: hello i have a problem with my neon 2005 it is the same problem you show in
this video but the problem that i have at this moment once i remove the 3
screw from above the soloneid i there any other underneath the soloneid
because i cant get that loose
JAZCENIA PAREDEZ: Hello i have a problem i have a Town & Country 2004 and the gears do not
change my mechanic changed the transmission and once again it does not
change gears he put 2 transmissions in already he checked my computer and
it turns out thats still good to i dont know the problem what else does he
need to check so he can fix the problem. What do you think ?
richpin06a: If the fluid is coming out from the solenoid area it could be it is not
sealing for some reason.
richpin06a: I found when i did this job there was a lot dirt and oil in the area which
took time to clean up.
Muah Mawi: yes, im using the one that it came with, perhaps silicon needs to be used?
Muah Mawi: I will do everything again and maybe I didn't tighten it enough
Muah Mawi: I redid it cleaned it some more qnd tightened the solenoid, and when I turn
on the engine a lot of transmission oil starts leaking through and it seems
to becoming from the solenoid pack area,
richpin06a: Be careful about silicone on that gasket because the are small holes which
could get plugged.
richpin06a: You are using a gasket.
richpin06a: On this neon after the install there was nothing else that had to be done.
dadrules714: What codes r U getting? turn key forward3x's w/o starting. leave forward on
3rd give u dash codes. had same prob w/ P300 random misfire. Battery was
bad + bad O2 sensor. Bad solenoid/ trans probs are usually in the P750
docker96: Thank you so much for all this information. What would your next move have
been if there were still a leak?
richpin06a: @Filmaker25 very little.
Shareallicu3: My dodge (grand caravan) is leaking transmission fluid :(
Muah Mawi: when changing the solenoid do I also have to replace the output and input
sensors? Please and Thank you this video us very helpful and saved me money!
fernando ibanez: hello i have a 2000 neon p0743 error mark my car i turn the car stops and
work again in minutes you can help me thanks
CRIZIZFLICZ245: thanx for a great video man.
Kevin Davis: Is there a reason you didn't just remove those 2 hoses for easier access? I
love your videos, using the ones for timing belt and head on my 03 neon
right now. Thinking of buying an intrepid that needs this.
Filmaker25: Is this automatic?
omar flores: hi halljand hey i have the same problem with my eclipse gt 2001, my
cuestion is, it realy fix your problem with the new TCC solenoid? or it was
another thing? tanks
richpin06a: If you go to the Aamco web site you can chat with a certified transmission
richpin06a: It can leak from the solenoid or the gasket. When it leaks your fluid level
can get low leading to shifting problems.
richpin06a: The only thing i know about the P0742 is that a bad coolant temp sensor or
thermostat in some instances can set this code.
rich47owen: I HAVE A QUESTION 2000 neon check engine code 0743 comes on but my car runs
fine no shifting issues or anthing. got an suggestions should i replace the
torque converter clutch solenoid? i also called the dealer and they said
you have to buy that part in an all together pice you cant replace it
richpin06a: Not a lot came out.
mgalentine58: What about the "quick learn " procedure? I was told by my mechanic that it
had to be done.
meTimetraveler: I'm not a fan of Chrysler either, I am a Fan of America. If America is so
bad how come everyone from your country tries to come here whatever country
you live in. For one thing I am 6'5" and can't fit in your crap box Honda.
Honda has just had another recall of the latest. 100,000 cars for brakes.
Honda's are way over priced. BTW if you are in the USA get the Hell out we
have enough free loaders already.
davey084: great vid rich =)
richpin06a: @Gunshooter115 Automatic transmissions are something i do not get involved
in unless there is a leak or there are trouble codes.
briansmobile1: @richpin06a Richpin... you're awesome! It's no wonder you're so popular.
MegaGertis: great video. can a shift solenoid cause a no reverse on a 95 civic?
William Ross: Soooo nice and clear... thanks for posting!!
richpin06a: Yes because they do not want to come off that easy.
Muah Mawi: I did this whole process and when I turned on the car, all the transmission
oil wad coming out, would yo u know why? sos!
richpin06a: @da324 I do not work on enough automatic transmissions to give you a
definitive answer on this one.
ellieysama: I have an 06 Mitsubishi Raider with 120K and the tranny does some jerking
between 2nd and 3rd gears and during coasting speeds you can feel it slip
in n out, i replaced the fluid n filter and no help but it feels more like
it might be an electrical thing as the check engine light comes on for a
while n then goes off, can anyone tell me if my tranny is about to go out
or if its an electrical problem? (ie sensor, solenoid, or engine computer)
Filmaker25: how much fluid will be lost, ?
Wilys Cruz: nice video thanks,,
stangfreak87: when i take off from a dead stop the car shakes till it go's into second
gear then it is fine. but if i take of from a dead stop and just barely
push the gas pedal it is fine could it be the transmission control solenoid
iv replaced both of the cv axles and the control arm bushings and sway arm
links and has not helped at all
garry humphries: mnufactured to fail built for costly repairs
Justin Hall: Hi Richpin, Maybe you can help me out. I have a 2003 Mitsubishi Galant 2.4l
Automatic transmission. Throwing code p0743 (TCC Solenoid Circuit Failure).
Car is in "failsafe" or "limp mode"; starts and stays in second gear when
driving it. Rough shifting into reverse and drive when first starting it
for the day, fine after it warms up. (I think the idle is high in the
morning and when it is cool which causes this). I ordered a TCC solenoid,
do you think this is the problem?
karlakatie1522: Hi rich, I own a 02 s series auto ,I was wondering if you knew the tread
size for the fittings one the trans cooler lines. Thank you
arobbins1999: Help my Dodge neon automatic transmission. Sounds. & files like it is
slipping. & hard to shift
richpin06a: When there is in depth troubleshooting on most automatic transmissions i
send them down the road.
aswadarif: i went back and retraced my steps an come to find out i didnt have one wire
fully on the distribuater cap i fixed that now she is back 100% thnks for
Sonicer Ramo: Te indico la falla?... el mio tenia lo mismo. cambia el TPS... no es la
caja sino ese TPS
Robert Fox: Did you use RTV? Some kind of liquid gasket BS? Thats not something you
should do. But, its your car so...
Jerry DeWees: I am having the same problem on a 1996 s-10
