Did this video help you?

Joel Armistead: Hello, im a big fan of your videos. They have aided in many repairs on my 05 Civic DX. In this video, I see that you put white grease on the contact points. What kind of grease was that and are there any alternatives I can use?

Jeanean Martin: Another thing the brake drum is not going to just come right off if is has been on awhile!

Jeanean Martin: What about adjusting the brakes?

Rick Beau: It would be worth mentioning to draw a diagram or take a pic before letting all the parts fall off. Also that is a lot of grease from your gloves put on the surface of the shoes. Showing how to remove and reinstall the clip and wave washer on the parking brake lever is a key piece that was left out.

P Clark: So you don't actually bleed, just pump it to firmness?

misterunder stood: You did not mention all parts

Timetryp: Adjustments?

kazper2011: I normally love your videos and use them for reference in preparation for a job. But the angles didn't offer much help in this one for the springs or clips.

Gianno Mauceri: Can I replace the outer drum rotor only without changing the internals and shoes? Mine are rusted out, so I just want to change the rotor.

Joe bova: nice video dude !

yanniaspro: Thanks for sharing....helps us amateurs out a lot!

Snake Charmer: hi, do i need to bleed my breaks, or change brake fluid... will new clean fluid be better for brake applications?

ringram26: What kind of lubricant are you using on the contact points?  I have Permatex anti-seize lube would that work?

Rhonda Shirley: To take the cover off take the two bolts thay hold ur seat to the floor. U should have two small holes on the cover the screw into to.alternate screwing and it will pop rt off.

Sokhann Pha: looks easier then it looks.. just did it and yeah it was hell for me.. disc brakes rules and so much easier

fs7f687ds6fd7sads: There's two holes on the drum where you can put a couple bolts and slowly turn them in, it will push the drum off the mount. They should be 13mm I believe.

1A Auto Parts: If there a hole in the backing plate, use the adjusting tool and back off on the shoes. The should enable you to get the drums off. Hope this helps you out.

1A Auto Parts: As long as you do not remove the wheel cylinder or any of the brake lines, you will not have to bleed the system.

TAC: thank you
