some person to put a $10 port in your phone?
Scott Pirkle: I think this is the first time I've ever felt the need to comment on
Youtube. Your video helped me replace my charging port, and avoid paying a

Ameerah Mohammed: Hi when I was replacing the charger port I accidently pulled off the bit
which attaches the right antenna cable to the back of the phone and now the
top part of the cable (near the SIM card) won't stick and so I'm not
getting any signal anymore. Is there any way of this being fixed?? I can

jmundo: I just replaced my galaxy with a new USB port and now it is charging
properly, but now its signal is low and I don't think it's connecting to
the network. my previous USB port still connects but doesn't charge:\.
Any insight on this problem pls let me know.
hooger0000: Also, do you think the tool set you recommend is enough to replace the
charging port or do you think the ultra thin steel pry is necessary as well?
hooger0000: The first link there, is that the one for AT&T?
JerryRigEverything: Have you tried ETradeSupply? They have a lot of harder to find parts. I use
them for a lot of stuff. If you end up spending more than 50 bucks you can
get 2 dollars off with a 'JryRig' discount code. If you cant find one
specific for your phone you can usually swap between other galaxy phones.
(They are all the same connection size, even if the length is different.)
Gabby Montes: Mine burnt while it was charging.. but anyways can u help me locate the #
of the charging port?
JerryRigEverything: I linked all the charging ports in the video description. L720 is sprint,
i545 is verizon, m919 is T-Mobile. Does that help?
Gabby Montes: yes it does.. thanx so much.. hopefully i dont mess something up lol
Nick Monaco: Any idea where I can get a new copper wire cable? Mine broke during
replacement. I've looked everywhere.
JerryRigEverything: Yup. As soon as you replace the charging port you will be good to go.
Charging ports only burn out like that if there was something inside the
charging port that connected 2 of the little gold wires together. (water,
lent, gunk... something like that) It doesnt happen often, but ive seen it
a few times.
Gabby Montes: for some reason my charging port burnt.. when i took it to the store they
said it was burnt pretty bad and they couldnt fix it and i had to get
another phone.. do u think this would work?
JerryRigEverything: I depends on the model of your phone (look under the battery) I listed 2 of
them in the video description. If you need anything else just message me. I
respond pretty quick.
heath dubbeld: How do I know which charging port to order for my galaxy S4? It's the grey
carbon S4 if that helps?
Jack Sharer: hi i recently bent the little thing inside the hole where u put the micro
usb cable and now it only charges if force the charger up into the phone.
is it neccessay to replace?
Nish Fernando: Hi Jerry thanks for the video. The replacement charging port doesn't have a
connector for the gold wire cable to snap into the charging port. Any luck
finding a replacement port that does? I have the verizon galaxy s4 (i9505).
Micheal Moon: I just did this and now i am getting no signal please help?
Mike Hunt: What size screwdriver do I need?
JerryRigEverything: I just found one! Lucky day for you. Look in the video description for the
link on Amazon.
Phillipe Duarte Gori: And my galaxy S4 stopped vibrating.
JerryRigEverything: Nice! What carrier was your S4 from? I also have the parts listed on Amazon
in the video description of the video, so people can look there too. I like
Amazon a little better than eBay personally.
