Did this video help you?

Mickey Glover: Where can I get a Camera module, I looked on Amazon, but the reviews are saying they aren't genuine or new. I'm getting the notorious camera failed.

duhastchris: yea im defiantly not doing this my self

Devin Fleming: for the charging port there are those little antenna wires and there attached to the charging port and the charging port posted in the description dosnt have that so im confused

Doğa Özkaracaabatlıoğlu: my phone doesnt charge anymore.... i won't buy any samsung phone next time

Jared.: You're a master. Thank You. Definitely Subscribed!

armoredcore2006: Just finished doing this. Couldnt be happier. Thanks again!

Ameerah M: Hi, I replaced my charger port the other day and whilst I was removing the antenna cable I managed to pull off the little attachment with the antenna cable (the one near the sim card) and so now the antenna cable won't stick on the motherboard and so I'm not getting any signal. Is there any way I can fix this without having to replace the whole motherboard? Waaay too expensive!

Leighton Gilbert: Bugger, I bought the Rev 0.8 for my phone, but my phone actually has the Rev19 version in it, will this still work or not?

Devon Purves: Great video. I have replaced the charging port in my phone and now I have trouble with my signal and data connection. Is there a certain part of the phone I could have messed up when installing the charging port? If I did is there a way to fix it?

1badassbilly: It took me 4 tries to close the phone, the damn wires kept the buttons from locking

Zach Cowan: thank you! my phone wouldnt charge and I just replaced this for 10$ and now it works!! Don't buy a new phone if it cant charge, just follow this guide people!

Luke Okines: Hi. What tools are you using and where could I buy them? Thanks

Jason Bryant: Thanks for this video. I could've use insurance to replace the phone ($199) or get a local repair shop to do it ($80). Instead, I was able to order the part on Amazon with 1-day shipping for less than $20 and did the repair in 10 minutes. Very easy, and I now know how to replace several components of the phone if they ever go out.

Dylan Wetzel: Just purchased the part and i hope it works! Thanks for this video. This is going to be a lot better if this works because who wants to pay $99 for some person to put a $10 port in your phone?

Charles Diez: very good description for S4 repair

Patrick Alba: I got some water damage on my S4 a while back, afterwards it would only charge on computers and laptops, no wall outlets or car chargers. I replaced the charging port as shown and now it works like new. Thanks for the video!

Kaitlyn Kerr: Thank you for the video!! saved me 60$ the store wanted to replace my charging port. not inclding thee ridiculous $30 for the part! I'm so happy thank you!!

Eric Lee: Thanks! This was so helpful. I was having trouble getting through my phone company's customer service and insurance program. It was going to cost me $90 to replace my phone, and I got everything I needed for about $20, including the charging port and the tools necessary. I'm terrified of electronics, but feel better and better thanks to folks like you!

Scott Pirkle: I think this is the first time I've ever felt the need to comment on Youtube. Your video helped me replace my charging port, and avoid paying a bunch of money. Thanks for what you do, man. You kick ass.

John Demetralis: thank you,,, you da man!!!!

Joel Lopez: Does somebody knows how to fix a black screen because the phone lights up but doesn't show any image and when it turns a blue light appears in the top part

Karina Velarde: where's the screen fix part?

Adam Raposo: Thanks, great walkthough! Just a heads up for **CANADIAN* S4 Owners. The phone differs from this one in that there is no second red wire on the left, only the blue one on the right. Also, the second strip that he detaches on top of the one on the left detaches from about an inch and a half from the bottom instead of almost at the top as seen in this video. It is also worth noting that while the i9500 USB Charging Port part will work with the canadian version, it differs from the original in that there is a small piece coming out of the back of the strip on the left - that prevents the back casing from closing properly.

Kyle Jensen: Thank you so much for taking the time to make and post this video. Replaced my charging port only using this video and worked perfectly. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Dancy Resep: You're amazing!! I fixed my charging port all by myself, with your help!, and saved myself 75 bucks!!

Erik Nebeker: whats the name of the red plastic tool you use in your video?

Daniel Meisel: THanks man! And good job on the video...smooth, clear, and sound is clear and loud.

Tommy Fitzgerald: Do you repair the charging ports for business? If so how much? I need to replace the charging port and I have no idea where to go. Thanks

Jason Rivera: help. So I followed the instruction on this video to replace my USB port and I fixed the issue. Only problem is now my buttons on the front (home and back buttons) don't work anymore. any ideas?

AlcoholRabbit: As helpfull as this video is, from the day I opened up my S4 to fix the charger port, I ran into a MYRIAD of other problems that had me stressed out for a bit but I eventually overcame. I'll list a few of 'em. Speaker not working after you open up the phone? - Press hard on the back panel. This is the same back panel that you prolly popped loose as shown in the video not being in as snug as it was before you opened the phone. This one scared me for a bit. Swapped in new charger port and it tells you LOW TEMP or won't charge? - The Charger port you just installed is FAULTY. I ordered a new one when my first one died, put it in and nothing. The computer reconized the device, but the charger port was a dud because it constantly put the phone in Low temp mode and wouldn't charge. Be wary of one start rated S4 products (My replacement antenna was also a dud too) LED/Speakr not working? - Be sure to check that the Ribbon cable is not stuck under the motherboard when you put it back in. This one had me stumped and depressed for a few days because I thought I had damaged my phone through constant reopening, especially when pulling the chasis away from the phone and what's not. Hope this helps someone and once again much thanks to the uploader for making this vid and helping me to fix my phone without spending money on a tech guy to do it. Cheers.

Phil Kight: Just finished with one charging port replacement. Great video, it was no problem with the replacement. Thank you, it helps to have a phone that I can plug in again. Even though I've now got a Qi back for it, and a wireless charging pad. When on the road it's a lot easier to plug the phone in to a charger.

Vasiliy Prokhor: hey, great vid! im starting to work on s4's to make a xtra penny. and i was wondering, so do all different carriers have a different charging port? because i see different links in your description!

khres57: can anyone please help me what parts do i need to buy? my charging port is broken and screen is broken

Daniel Calvo Marín: Thanks a lot!...i already change my charging port...but i'm having a new problem. When the battery starts to charge, it shows and icon that says: "charging paused battery temperature too low", but the battery works and charge in other phone. What could be the problem?, is there anything one can do wrong in the new charging port installation?...Thanks a lot againg!

Steve Krzyzanowski: Thanks for the video. I had to use the wireless charger for months, but now I got my s4 working like new.

mustbeaj: Searched every comment.. Which one for my at&t sgh-i337 model? Is it the same as the t-mobile one?

Ameerah M: Hi when I was replacing the charger port I accidently pulled off the bit which attaches the right antenna cable to the back of the phone and now the top part of the cable (near the SIM card) won't stick and so I'm not getting any signal anymore. Is there any way of this being fixed?? I can only find replacements for the cable but there's nothing wrong with my cable. Should I try putting glue on it so it sticks?? Also do you know what position the antenna heads supposed to be in?Thanks in advance......excellent tutorial bdw, got my phone working 👍

armoredcore2006: I wanted to replace the home button too. Is that complicated after you remove the charging port? Thanks in advance!

AlcoholRabbit: Thanks to this video I got my charger port fixed and my phone charges fine now, but in the process I think I damaged that blue antennae cable and had to order another one.....now THAT one that I ordered, I'm having trouble putting it on. (I got the cable attatched to the bottom node by the charger port, but the one next to the sim card on the motherboard is giving me HELL). I traded one problem for another, but this video was a major help...so I'm thankfull for that.....now back to tackling this crap again.

Ameerah M: Hi to replace my charger port do I have to take out the camera and motherboard? Is that the only way the charger port can be taken off?

فہريہد ألعہرأقہيہ: Hi thanks for this video.. I have question my wifi and Bluetooth it doesn't work, so how I can change it?

Patrick Artounian: Are there any links for the ATT sgh-i777?

Craig Alan: Thanks for the video, it worked like a charm and the links you provided for the toolkit and part were awesome!

Randall B: Where can I purchase the brown cable on the left that connects to the USB port. I can find the wifi. Cable for sale everywhere. I imagine these are not interchangeable?

Ricardo Paul: Hi there i replaced the port, but I realised that touch buttons are off, I replaced twice but the part is from the same provider. I thought it was the touch screen buttons, but I tested with the old one and the touch buttons are working. What could it be?

Inderjeet Singh Sandhawalia: Hi JerryRigEverything, I want to give a try to replace Samsung Note 2 as I have bad charging port. What kind of tools you have, are these part of the Repair Tool Kit Screwdrivers Kit for Iphones and Samsung as being sold on ebay? www.ebay.com/itm/290927575660.

mant mogyl: hi is this charger port for i9500 is same as i9300? thank you!! nice video!!!!

Xdrows: Hey, just a quick question. I replaced my charging port for my S4 i545 and now my microphone is really quiet. To the point where whoever I'm calling cannot hear me or I'm really quiet. Do you have any advice for my situation?

Porfirio castro: Phone-life saving video, worked like a charm, thanks!!!!

21temoc: Hey I would like to know wich one is the antenna of the galaxy s4. If you can help me with that. I'm having trouble with my signal
