Did this video help you?

Anfernee: Can you save and reload the environment for other times?

michael shaw: Ok....These vid are the business! But am I the only one saying in his mind" there has to be another way" This is bridging over into to sound design, and I really don't wanna go there, excuse me for being "lazy" but how else can I make this happen without connecting everything to a space modulator? (The Martian for bogs bunny voice)

Satvik Sakar: My Arpeggiator is not working ?? my connections are exact as u did.I use logic pro x. with samson graphite midi controller

Travis Bowman: my 808 bass only plays on the arpeggiated hat and snare notes, help?

THE K.B EFFECT: thank you bro

Martin May: yeah! a template of this would be cool! i see that all the sounds are on the main outputs..do you have a certain way of mixing them?

ben watson: hello i followed the tutorials and when it comes to finishing the recording the trap kit the drums aren't the same like instead of the rapid tatatatatatatatatatata it goes ta ta ta ta ta ta instead and the other one instead of it making the less rapid sound it goes tata ta tata like the sound of a horse gallop its a big problem i hope you understand thanks.

Shaun Darling: Great video, I do have one issue Im on Logic X when i hit the key for the arpg is a little delay before it starts any way to fix hat?

Iván Camilo: Wonderful tutorial , I´m having the same problem as Shaun though , in logic pro X , there seems to get a bit of a delay when using the arpg, it makes the recording difficult like that.

Joni Kesti: Yo! Respect for these tutorials! You should do a little tutorial about different types of Trap leads, analog sounds & electronic leads..

John Tower: this was really great. nice track too. i have a question about syncing the sub bass with the kick. is there a way to use a transformer in the mixer to make it so that whenever a kick is played, a sub bass note on the synth is also played? (think "money trees" kendrick lamar). i tried this myself by throwing a transformer on after the ultrabeat channel strip in mix layer. i want it to say "if C1 or D1 are played (my kicks), then also play E2 (synth sub bass)". i set the transformer to condition splitter mode, status = note, pitch = inside C1 D1. then wired the top output to the synth and the bottom back to the kick. no dice... obviously you can just layer but thought this might be useful. thanks.

Ian Merrilees: Superb take on the environment regardless of music style , really structured and well presented . thanks

King Fitzgerald: Enjoyed this entire series. Really learned a lot just watching three videos. Definitely +1 and Subbing this channel. Peace and blessings!

A.J. Carnaggio: Thank you SO much! This was awesome... The best tutorial video I've watched so far.... and I've been watching A LOT. Thanks again!

lejon lamon: i got it to work fine but for some reason when i press the key the reaction time is delayed. only with the arp on though. when i turn it off everything is fine ?

Ross Aitken: Such a good set of tutorials, one of the first I've followed the whole way through so thanks, I've subscribed! Ive had some problems though, Im getting some latency on my midi keyboard that means my high hats come in slow, making it really hard to play along to the track, any suggestions? Also, how do you record the modulation on the snare roll? mine records it but then it changes if I move midi data within the track.

antonionordstrom: I would buy it too cause this is gonna speed up the work flow a whole lot! Hope u do it! And oh yea.. Thanks for doin what u do!

matt shadetek: Yup, that works too. Thanks.

matt shadetek: No doubt, I've thought about doing this? Maybe if a few people on here express an interest I'll do it.

MagnificentMobTV: Wanna get rich or richer? Make a channel strip or some kind of setting and sell it for a few bucks.....I'll buy it fa sho!!!!! Don't have time and drink to much in the studio of all this.i love logic it's the best. But damnnnnnnnnn!!!!!

Alex Hardesty: this is dope

Stephen Swetonic: this setup is more for playing live or building a beat quickly. yeah you can easily program alternating notes while producing a track

Deryk Moates: Awesome! More cool environment videos would be sweet. I aint scared of the environment!! :-D lol

antonionordstrom: Please Mr Matt.. It would be awesome if u could sell this template! :-)

MagnificentMobTV: Well if it's a good price I'm buying!!!! Better do it soon after all u did tell us how to do it for free!!

matt shadetek: thanks Dzzoon3, appreciate that

2B or not 2B: will the enviroment settings be on every new project you create?

cxdric: Thank you for the tutorial, I think it's really useful for Logic, since its piano roll can be nasty and frustrating. For other DAWs, say FL, programming the notes directly into the PR might actually be quicker, however it's always up to personal preference and different workflows.

matt shadetek: Thanks D, glad you found it helpful!

matt shadetek: djgetdischannel: cool man, glad you worked through it!

Dzzoon3: good looking out bro it's great tutorial

sycamoreent Octogonapus: Usually what I do when producing trap is just straight up use the piano roll for everything. Maybe if I'm really feeling the rhythm I'll record maybe a basic hat pattern, kick, and clap live then go back and add the rolls.

matt shadetek: Area051Rcrds: thanks homie, appreciate that

Alex Hardesty: i would buy a channel strip for sure

stanley friedrich: Abelton

JRAMACARTEL .: how do u save this as a template for use with other projects?

lah-dahn Dessaline: great stuff matt i been trying to do arppegies bless one in the air for you bro.

antonionordstrom: So.. With that said! Matt.. How much for the channel strip? :-)

PyramidTre: The tune that starts playing 0:07 is so good.. Where can I find it?

matt shadetek: Lots of different ways to do this stuff, the goal here is to teach a few lesser known concepts and offer more choices. Thanks for watching!

matt shadetek: It's called Matt Shadetek - La Vida Loca and it's available on iTunes.

0megadwarf: you know it's really very simple to quickly switch between quantizing 16th notes to 24th, therefore quantize your triplets? just hold Q and select what subdivision you desire.

Jean G: hi, how do you know the modwheel pitch will apply a specific region/pattern? (excuse my english) and thanks for your tuts

mistsofparoketh: Thirst

matt shadetek: 2beqwip: No you'll need to either import it to new projects or save it as a template

CuppaTea101: FIRST LOL
