mikeyd19841: good example!
Ray Gonzales: i was very skeptical on Blue devil gasket sealer on my 1995 Accord cause i
didn't want to shell out $65 for a bottle.... i flushed out my coolant with
water and took out the thermostat added half the bottle and ran it at idle
for 1 hour... and then let cool overnight ...... The stuff really worked
for 2 or so months and then it started to have the same original symptoms
...... but guess what i have the other half of the bottle so i guess what
I'm doing today into tomorrow ..........9/16/14.... Blue devil is like a
jolly rancher candy when it drys between the cracks of the bad part of the
head gasket.. it will be a Temporary fix so don't push your car to hard
after using this (Heavy stand still traffic/ long trips / high revs
/etc/etc/etc/) your car is best as a station car or local grocery getter
don't plan on doing no 100+ mile trips in 100 degree heat ......hope this
Raul Delgado: I got a question did you add water to it or just the product?
jamel bensala: i used blue devil head gasket sealer it work 100% i have a Toyota Camry
1996 i blow up the head gasket i drove it for 30 minute when the car was
overheating on the high way my mechanic said you need 1200 dollars to fix
it i said forget it he told me there is some thing you can try i said what
? HE SAID BLUE DEVIL try it i swear i went online i did some search on
the product i found different story some negative and some positive but i
went and i bought it and i used it i followed all the direction they have
on the bottle it worked trust me ! any body has a problem with a head
gasket should give it a try you will not regret it work i put so far in my
car 400 miles with no problem .... good luck
Albert Nieves: I just brought a 98 ford explorer sport and was very suspicious as too why
so cheap, it runs good and everything works great, i thought i just got
Blessed & plain ow Lucky, yeah right! today while washing it i noticed the
muffler drip and a small amount of white smoke, its not over heating or
even the temp guage gettig close to it. I think im going to get a bottle
Bayan1905: I looked at a Chevy Caprice today that smoked actually worse than this
Nissan, it looked like the Caprice had started a forest fire. I am not sure
if this stuff would have worked for that car but I would be concerned about
long term. Personally, I know its expensive, but what are the costs long
term of a head gasket repair (I know that Chevy I looked at would be $600)
versus a new engine.
This dude says: One question, what kind of beer did you use?
Well use this if i ever plan in getting a Cadillac........
sparkyd82: Head Gasket Test Kit
Duayne Howard: Is it really advisable to run an engine at idle for 90 minutes? I have a 95
Civic LX that I eventually want to sell/trade up for a newer truck, and I
don't trust it...
Robert Burleson: What is your opinion of Steal Seal?
zach reed: lol all these quote in quote fix it in a can or spray is BULL crap- Master
EXPLORER5: Point # 1: I think 90% of the time it dos NOT work. Point # 2: They do not
honor the guaranty, I send him the claim forms 3 times since 09/05/2011
and every time he told me the check is in the mail for 2 32 oz bottles of
the head gasket sealant. When it did not work the first time I called the
888 toll free # and the guy told me to try another bottle and if it didn't
work to call him back and that he would give me back my monies four both
When I called him back he told me to go back to Bennett Auto Supply to get
my refund. I drove 5 miles and when I got there I was told that they are
not responsible and that he did not call them.
Before I used the first battle, I drained the oil and replaced it with 5
Qts. with new oil because there was water in the pan, I installed new
filter, ran the engine for one hour. I fallow the directions exactly. It
did not work.
Again with battle # 2, I changed oil again another new filter and a new
thermostat, ran the motor for an hour.
Did not work. I spend $134.26 on Blue Devil $10.69 on 2 filters,
apr. $ 11.00 on 2 thermostats.
After all that, I had the head gasket replaced for $300.00 by a local back
THAN, the mechanic told me my heater core was no good and he had to by pass
it. thank god I live in Florida where I don't need a heater. Do the math,
Having a mechanic fix it $ 300.00 By buying this S..T I wasted $218.00
and a clogged header core and 2 hours of wasted gas.
AND lets not forget the lying, chitin representative of Blue Devil
carmelo rodriguez: HOW MUCH WATER TO U PUT IN WHEN POURING THE BLUEDEVIL?
This dude says: One question, what kind of beer did you use?
Well use this if i ever plan in getting a Cadillac........
sranjesuper: let's put it this way... if you plan on keeping your car, do your head
gaskets as they will probably last you the lifetime of your car, if you
drive a good car. If you don't plan on keeping your car and it's a piece of
crap, and just want to keep moving, sure go ahead and pour that crap into
Storm K: i just need it to last a month or two
so i will use this piece crap
Johny Ellis: K&W Nanotechnology Head Gasket & Block Repair has been proven to last only
if you fallow the back of the bottle Personally would use it untill I could
afford the replace the head gasket myself. I would also do valve seals
while they are off and timing chain/tensioner and the lifters
kev bone: wow this stuff works, thanks for posting the video. My car has 225.000
miles on it and my head gasket was leaking heavily. Lots of oil in the
radiator and lots of steam going out the exhaust. My leak was so big after
about 50 minutes of running at idle about 50 percent of the radiator had
dropped because of steam. Topped off the radiator. Then the blue devil
started to kick in and plugged the crack. Saved me alot of time. If your
skeptical just give it a try.
strattuner: my brother sent me this video of this product,i've been a ase master of 41
years, motor trans rear end specialist,i've used similar products to make my
cars and trucks get me towork tofix most of you guys junk, only damn
vehicles I ever got to work on were near dead or dying,if you have a
vehicle that is beautiful,outside,inside,you like it,repair it,right,drop
the money on it,if you are a working mom with a bum husband and 5 kids, use
this product correctly till you get a real car,we've been using this
product for 50 years in various other names, mainly called water glass,it
works, you have to empty the complete cooling system of antifreeze, fill with
water and this product,do what the instructions say,it is a temporary fix
at best, head gaskets are like tires, they have a life expectancy, any engine
fired up for a long or short burn will eventually loosen due to the
bolts[FASTENERS] attaching the parts together,if you want to keep a car or
truck till you die fix it right and stud every part, yes this product will
work,if you're doing this in the winter do it inside a very large shop,so
the engine will not freeze while repair,a blown gasket that causes
compression between cylinders is an automatic disassembly repair,no pour
product will work for that, selling any vehicle to anyone that's had this
treatment and telling them it is 100 % good is a liar and fraud, remember
nothing in this world is a replacement for NEW,EVERYTHING MADE AFTER 1980
is thinwall casted design and has a short life due to design, and change
your oil religiously
Holly Roberts: did u remove the thermostat?
Greg Shuffield: I used this product...my exaust stopped smoking within 15 minutes...but im
gonna run the engine the entire 1 hr....thanks for making a product that
does what it says
ortegasd31: Great job
Trendyrapslut: have a 78 trans am with 400. i built the engine, milled the heads, but had
no time to mill the block. also apparently the head gasket i used was a bad
design. after about 13k miles or so i started burning coolant. i refused to
spend the money again on it, and bought the smaller bottle of blue devil to
use. i followed the directions and the problem looks like it's pretty much
all the way gone.
Ian Thompson: Well my mom puked all the coolant out and overheated the Subaru, the 2.5
has inherently bad head gaskets from factory, picked up a big bottle of
blue just in case, will let you know if it works! Hell if I'm doing heads
on a flat 4!
icek9a: You have had that much trouble on only 78k miles? should have gotten a
chevy, my 96 suburban has 120k miles and runs great, and my mom had the
same go to 230k before she traded it in (it had a new water pump, that's
melizzamelizza: great video. I just rocked my head as I watched the smoke.
KRAMRENKA: $65 for this crap?
VipairPaiva23: I heard it can clog up the heater core.
What where the steps you took to use this. T stat, draining, exc........
Andriaz1973: I bought the crap and it dont work. I had a mechanic put it in to make sure
that it was done right and it didnt work. HUGE waste of time and money!
Ryan Hardy: have you used the $34 one before?
handyman192: i have to tell you its just a temp fix the head gasket will start leaking
again i know it cost alot to take it to a shop and have it done i have
replaced head gaskets before it was worth the time saved a lot of money
Bobby Kogel: dont you love your job being able to have a beer on the job
Heath Loden: Blue Devil did not work for me on a 2001 Mazda B-3000. When I torn the
engine down, I found nine of the hydraulic lifters stuck in the compressed
state. They were easily repaired to working condition by removal,
dis-assembled and cleaning. When I took them apart the springs and plungers
were almost glued in place with a thick milky residue. Other than that
there was no ware or buildup. I have no way of knowing if Blue Devil is to
blame, but thought I would share my experience.
handyman192: what a waste of time useing that stuff just replace the gasket
bluedistortions: you ever find out what was going on with this? sounds like maybe flash rust
on the cylinder from sitting open to cold air (condensation kills cylinder
walls, happened to me last year when doing a head job on a honda) then you
crank it up and it runs, but the rings get worn out fighting the rust. i'd
do a compression test and see what numbers come up.
Thecritic2013: well said
shane walker: i just used it in my taurus that had water running righ out of the side of
the head, took your advice and drank a beer and put the blue to it, about
an hour later my wife was driving again!!!, this stuff was sent from god!!!
thanks for the video!
jonathan ruiz: Went to buy a gasket sealant and the guy brong.out the blue devil...but it
was to expensive so i bought a $10 sealant. And after a day my civic was on
the road ...so i plan on going back and getting the blue devil for double
protection! If a $10!sealant worked im sure a $50 blue devil will work
shazzasif: i have an integra gsr with a leak in gaskit and i need some help guys
fsca72: for less than 200 bucks and a couple of days you can solve the issue the
right way, doesn't take a mad scientist to replace head gaskets
Thecritic2013: Hiya sorry to bother you but i bought blue devil head gasket sealer and im
a little worried incase i mess up my engine could i ask you the exact way
and order to use it what i need to do before hand i know i need to flush
the engine first. But then do i add new oil and antifreeze before i add the
blue devil? because some say add antifreeze and some say dont and im really
confused any help you could give me would be great.
Baudelio Jimenez: Now that car is on CRAIGSLIST! Hahaha
jimmynelson443: Lmfao @ blue devil I'd just buy another car lol Craigslist 1500 good
running cars all day! Js
aurenlaybeauty: I was considering using this product on my '91 Buick Riviera because it was
suspected to have had a bad head gasket. I decided against it when I had
heard from a plethora of mechanics and car guys that this product isn't
meant to be used if you plan on keeping the vehicle for a long time, which
I plan on doing. He said it was, "the kiss of death for a car." It sure
sounded like a good thing to do.... but I decided against using it . I'd
rather just get the head gasket fixed.
AZfordtruck: Not a good idea
Fullforce LTX: very well said!
miladhassibi: Theres probably no more coolant to burn so it stopped smoking haha
MrLukevan2448: Id honestly never add anything to any fluids in a car besides fuel injector
cleaner. If its fixing a rubber or felt gasket, who knows what else it is
dogfacesoldier1000: instructions for products like this do call you to let the vehicle sit for
several hours after running the treatment through the system, personally
I've never used any, but have looked into it
ju: @huklen ether way, but there are testers to see if your head gasket is
blown or not.
