Did this video help you?

ED HARRY: Donny your emulsion tube advice was good. The o rings were $4.12 for two high but the fix worked,Thanks,Evan

william mason: do you have a complete gasket set for a Tecumseh h35 flathead engine???

Justin Bizub: I have a 11.5 Tecumseh Engine from my snowblower with the non adjustable carb. Do you know if the adjustable carb version will fit on it? If so would you happen to have the part# Thanks!

cbobcbob100: follow up to my earlier comments....the brass tube is fixed but I replaced o-ring in pick up tube and now the mower runs...fyi...bob

Rene Del Rio: Great Video/info Don ........Quality Tips

gkcook63: I need help replaced a fuel fitting? The plastic part broke off. I received the replacement which has the metal insert already attached to the plastic piece. I cannot get the metal piece out of the carb.....Help.......

estrelladelnorte1308: i see you mentioned on your notes to replce it if it hard to start on runing problems , but what is the function of this part on the carb?

wcjcnc: Wouldn't Buna-Nitrile O-rings work? Buna-Nitrile stands up against oil, gas, and most other petroleum products.

donyboy73: that's exactly what I've done, you'll save a vast amount of money

donyboy73: sorry, not anytime soon

terrence richard Webster: Grate video thank you just what i needed

khhall48: Hi Don, >love your videos. I have a Tech 11 hp enduro on a generator and it will not start. Spraying some gas into the air breather helps it to go but stalls shortly. Gas is pumping to the carb from tank. I need a carb and service manual. Hope you can help.. Keith,, Plse pm me..if possible :)

donyboy73: make sure they are Viton o-rings

zx8401ztv: Hmm thats different. Motorcycle carburettors dont have any rubber seals, but they are brass tubes and often a snug fit so... Im not a lover of plastic, give me brass anyday :-)

TheWallyjp: what brand of oil do u recommend

Peter Agostini: What are the signs of replacing this part ? ( beside damage)TY Great vid

99carnot: Very helpful, as usual. How is the shop air project going? Thank you.

donyboy73: they are slightly different size for the inner emulsion tubes that the rings used for screws

wcjcnc: I just took a Tecumseh carb apart that has been sitting to long and has caramelized gas in it. The tip of the emulsion tube broke off and the O-rings are crapped out. How do I know I'm getting the right emulsion tube? Is there a model number somewhere on the carb?

donyboy73: I have used the buna and they eventually swell up

Micheal Gabriel: can u run water in the tube to make sure that there are no cracks???

carnivore10: I have cleaned them in the carburator, but I have never removed one before. Good video Dony!

ccsmallengines: I have a good q and a question this week,How do you proberly abjust the old brass floats?

donyboy73: no not every carb has a seat on some the needle valve is Viton tipped

wcjcnc: Really? Well damn it. I'm glad I talked to you first. Guess I better order the right ones and not try to skimp. Thank you. You probably just saved me a lot of headache down the road.

winston Fosdick: The tang can be adjusted ( bent, is where the inlet needle is mounted ) to compensate... On these carbs, I just make sure the brass float has an even gap all around the top, between the float & carb body...The float will be level, in other words. Do not press down on the needle & seat to adjust the tang, bend it manuallywith a screwdriver.....

kx80moto: hi donny always love your vid e but i have a stupid question what will make you know if you need to replace your emulsion tube .....

Tanner Brown: I love ur videos they help with everything I was wondering if u could do one on how to remove a trecumseh governor gear?

donyboy73: all done the air setup, just need to make a video on it

jdflyback: I had a tecumseh lawnmower that had a carburetor damaged beyond repair and the day before we were going to take it to the dump I took the carb off and left the intake pipe on and put a small valve on the tank that dripped a small stream of gas in the intake. ran 8000 rpm instead of 6000 and I mowed the lawn one last time.

donyboy73: opamma/echo makes a good small one, i have this one Electronic Specialties 328 - EZ Tach +PLUS

TheWallyjp: ok thanks

donyboy73: it may run erratic, hard to start

Bill Makros: any plans to show some repairon a honda gx390?

donyboy73: hard to start and doesn't run good.

donyboy73: castrol, any well know name brand

donyboy73: needs to be Viton rubber

Tony De Leo: Hi, Great video, as they all are. I am just getting into small engine repair, have taken training and setting up my shop. I want to pick up a tachometer for setting carburetors, etc. Which one would you recommend. Thanks Tony De Leo Port Hadlock WA USA

donyboy73: it may run erratic, hard to start

havoc6g: what are the symptoms of a failing emulsion tube? these vids are great!

Steve Rob: Good stuff, the emulsion tube is the last thing I check if all else checks out , I have had to throw out the carb on the permant fixed tubes. I am carefull on cleaning a carb with the plastic tube , some strong solvents just melt the tube and o-rings.

steven earnshaw: piece of advice: if you lawnmower has a bad part look for a free one on a classefieds website trust me it works great

la reine du shabby chic: Bonjour.Donyboy73 Excellent vidéo.I am a fan et depuis j'essaie de faire les réparations.Merci. Have Brigg syard machine 4.5 hp it work hard for me a bit more than a acre every week.Start and die,did not start again.Oil was really low change the oil change the parkplug(going to buy the gaptool) clean carburator.Start once and dark smoke came from the muffler do not want to start again .What will be my next step, change carburator.I thought for carburotor problem it start and die, start die....

Murray Mayhem: Always learn something from your channel

Ron Martin: I removed the carb bowl retaining bolt and inside was a loose plastic item that looks like a retainer for the lower rubber ring on the emulsifier.can you tell me what it is and how to replace it. I did not remove the emulsifier but after seeing your video I'll have a go at it although the carb is fairly new. Thanks for your great videos.

donyboy73: poor engine performance, may be hard to start

donyboy73: did you replace the carb diaphragm

donyboy73: what color is it? u have to use the model and serial of the engine

donyboy73: lol, pretty high rpms

Louis Schweigman: Thanks
