Keli Lemoi: I'm going to give the Mod Podge Dimensional another try, maybe we need to apply it in thinner layers? The resin I used on top was great-I got it at the hardware store. I forget the name off the top of my head (I'm not at studio), but it has a cheese picture of someone pouring a cup of resin over this whole table full of items: a picture frame, snow globe and the table itself. Its the same thing you would use to give a bar "the wet look" and it says its = to 50 coat of polyurethane.
Mixdplate: Just started using the Dimensional Magic and have discovered too that it does not fully harden. It's been almost 2 days. I have never used resin. Would you mind giving more info on that product? I should have read the comments before just going by the tuturial, I find it annoying that the "Designer" or product rep has not responded to recent inquiries. Not sure if I got a bad bottle or not but I am not able to "build" depth either it runs all over the place.
Keli Lemoi: I have the dimensional magic, and it worked well, except it did not seem to fully harden. I ended up putting a layer of resin on top, because even after several days I could still make a mark with my finger nail.
Katarina Moloka: What can you use instead of the mod podge ??
I put my frames in the fridge, but this hasn't worked either.
I'm desperate and I feel like I'm throwing away a lot of these precious products! :(
(I'm sorry for the long comment)
Anyway, I found another method and now, when I pour the liquid, it is fluid and clean. The problem comes after: I leave it to dry and when I go check it... Surprise! It is full of air bubbles and SCRATCHES that I absolutely haven't made! And I can't do anything, 'cause air bubbles don't pop and the liquid is almost dried...
Hello, I'm an Italian girl and I wanted to ask for some information about this product.
I finally got it after 1 month I had ordered it, but I immediately had some problems. The "Mod Podge Dimensional Magic" didn't have the lip/tip/nozzle (I don't know how to call it), so it was difficult for me to avoid air bubbles.
ThePolymerclaydesign: What are the little metal frames called?? I want to make some necklaces and I can't find them!! please help!
AldoBr549: Question, could I use Dimensional Magic to make a crack pipe?
Loyal Dobiedad: We have military-type embossed dog tags and want to put a pic of each Doberman on the back, sealed under a thick layer of acrylic. If water loosens the Dimensional Magic, does that mean that over time any type of liquid ( persperation, etc. ) will decompose the thick layer overlying the picture.
pinkbunny186: I really like this idea but how long does it take to dry and is it a big problem with paper and ink I don't want to have to spend a lot if it doesn't work and I want something that dries quicker than resin thankyou
relaxnow: You said you coudl soak it in water to take it off? so its obviously not water resistant?
patioelf: I always make my copies at the copy center/store where the color copiers are all laser printers as opposed to ink jet, like we all have at home. The laser print colors use permanent ink and will not run at all.
Matt Ross: What kind of spray seal do you recommend for the paper? My ink has been bleeding as well. Thanks for the information and videos~
Mod Podge Rocks: Hi there! you should spray seal them before you Dimensional Magic them (on both sides). Then Mod Podge. And then the ink won't bleed! :D
ziggy1105: I have been trying the dimensional magic but my images either have the color bleed or they become dark and fuzzy. Do I specifically need to use mod podge decoupage or do I need to use a certain kind of paper?
Mod Podge Rocks: You can find them on Etsy or at a craft store (like Michaels, JoAnns)
fantastique200: Where can you find those beveled pendants?
tess2626: I love this...nice video!
wowtwilightsucksass: I think the necklace is just layering of mod podge Dimensional Magic
eastsaintlouis62203: how did u do the butterfly necklace?
Mathangi Ravi: Cool!
