Superdan187211: where can get that software ?
Orlando Guillén Fischel: Which antenna is that?
Oldcoinsandstuff1: Why can't I program two radios with this program???
Tim Odell: Hi,

Nick Akerson: I have the baofeng uv-82 and I got the the programing file but I cant
figure out how to change the language. there is no English selection on it.
can you help?
Amin Fauzan: @TranceAddiction13 thank you... I got same problem and then realize I
didn't push the USB cable in hard enough to the radio (you should hear
"click" when you push correctly)
VicAus-Prepper: Thank you so much for this! I was totally lost as I am a virgin to ham
radio's, but I am getting the hang of it. Greetings from Australia. HI5
gorgeous george: this baufeng sucks,,i have tried every god dam thing to program,,my pc is
filled with god dam files and crap from chirp and baofeng site,,none of it
gives a spread sheet like i see on youtube,,this freakin thing doesnt do
crap,,this is the worst program,,now i have to get all this crap from my
system,,many files,,same files downloaded over and over trying to make this
radio program,,this is the worst thing,,im going to throw this radio in the
garbage, people dont even put a good video up explainin
Sean Delevan: Thanks a lot for these videos. I just got a Baofeng today and I do not know
ANYTHING about Ham radios. When I say anything, I mean I do not know
anything. I am hoping that this video will also work the same with a mac
Craig Raper: OK I do like a backup program for this because some days it works some days
it doesn't. I try to back it up to CHIRP and my Fire dept freq. goes all
errors and I need that one since I use it at work . any idea why and thanks
for this helpful video
Davina Raines: can you email ur number please
nal2us2: you just saved me a ton of time with this video. Thanks Bud!!!!
lala: I HAVE PROBLEM WHIT COMMUNICATION ERROR CAN YOU HELP ME? PLEASE
Daniel Pease: Can you advise the antenna you have on the unit in your video? Much longer
than the standard rubber ducky out of the box.
Mike Townsend: Now I see on the screen display on the radio that the frequency is
(example) 460.678, then on the software I see 164.00000. I see that there
is a extra 2 numbers can I put in for example 460.4625 and the radio will
pick it up?
marita karten: This has the driver and the apps for Baofeng uv3r uv5r and bf888s , and
they all worked without a problem on my old XP pc. here is the link to it
in case anyone is interested: amzn.to\15odDck
TranceAddiction13: Hello MeOnTech first thanks for the very informative videos. I just got my
radio up and running I can't transmit yet but I use it to listen. I go for
my Tech exam in November so I'm learning all I can. My question is how do I
program both 2 meter and 70 frequencies at the same time? Do I just dump
them both from the same list? I ask cause If I load 2 meter first then
upload 70 the 70 over writes my 2 meter. Thanks
matthew Kubiak: thanks for the video i ordered 1 a few days ago can't wait now.
Dominik Pyrka: Dude, it's perfectly normal. You push PTT and by transmitting something you
open the repeater. When you release PTT the radio automatically switches to
receieve frequency so you can hear the repeater, which closes itself after
a while if nobody else's transmitting. So what's the problem?
MeOnTech: Is it a communication error? If so it may because Windows 7 went to the
internet and grabbed an update driver that will not work. This happened to
me. I will make another vid to show how to fix it.
TheHullraiser: Excellent video. The ??? Had me stumped
jarretlaura ouellette: hello im jarret im wondering where the programs do i need to download i
just bought a pair so my wife and i can stay in contact when i go hiking i
strictly want to use them as two ways only dont care to listen to others
can you help me please want best range out of these thank you jarret
Augustin Andelic: I have baofeng uv5rb and in freq mode I input my repeater frequency and
required offset. I can hear repeater and my voice goes throught repeater
but and after I release PTT my baofeng go to "recieve" mode for short
time... Like I am recieving my own tx. Is that normal and how to solve
this? on simplex no such problem... thanks...
Jason Lawrence: I need the program software like he is using to program the radio with.
Please Sind it to my email at email@example.com. Thank you for your
Vinicius Souza: Hi AF5DN. Your Videos is amazing. Congratulations! I'm from Brazil and
bought a UV-5R. Please, could provide the guidelines of this video in
Portuguese (text file)? Would be very grateful. Strong Hug
steven potter: i got same message,,,i cant open rar file,,this sucks,,none of these radio
heads make a video about newbies with this problem, they assume the software
is great,,,but this makes my new radio useless,,,this sucks,,,bought this
radio for this,,,uselss,,,i cant find any video that tells how to get this
software going,,,i looked to chirp,,i downloaded and thats when my new
windows 7 couldnt open it,,cant open rar file,,,they want you to pay to
open it with scam program,,,dont download the scam
VideoMontaze: What about UV-5R plus, it is possible to program radio whit cable in WIN7?
And how to program repeator channeles whitout cable? IT is soo hard to
program channeles on Baofung compering whit Yeasu, Kenwood...
Davina Raines: I would like the software also, is there anyway I can get the address for
it or send it to my email at firstname.lastname@example.org
Alexander rocco Bakke: hello when i reed from radio it keeps saying "fail connect with tranciver"
?? what do i do? i have done everything right with the usb driver settings
Joshua Breaux: Tried DLing the software from site and it keeps telling me that it can't
install an .rar file, have gotten CHIRP the only problem is there is no
videos on youtube showing exactly how to use it. Right now I have a fancy
little Chinese paper weight. Can someone tell me where to go to learn to
program this thing before I take it to the shooting range for some much
needed practice? Signed: Aggravated in South Louisiana
Steve Kopcial: Dave, I have the UV-5R How do I scan the memory channels???
JoniGMovieCorp: Try downloading "CHIRP" off the net, google it,, It,s much better than the
chinese software for the UV 5r, , the chinese software is awful, i hate it,
because it wont work with windows 7, error,,,,,,,,,,use "CHIRP" is far
better , it's in English and works great with my Baofeng uv5r.
Sean Delevan: So let's say I just went step by step and did what this video shows me.
Unfortunately I have a Mac though, so we are off to a bad start. But let's
say I managed to program this just like you did. Then what? Is that all I
would need and I could just turn it on and go right to the necessary
frequencies or stations? If so, could I just have someone program my ham
radio for me once or does it always have to be updated? Sorry for the basic
questions but I really do not know what I am doing. thnx
TranceAddiction13: Here's a good one for you. I got my Baofeng Uv-5r yesterday in the mail. I
followed your video instructions using Winblows64 and all seemed to go
well. It recognized the device on COM3 perfectly on the first try. However
it kept giving me a read error. So I switched over to my Linux box and
installed it and still could not read the radio. Finally went back to
Winblows64 and tried again and NO DEAL. Found out it was just that I didn't
push the damn USB cable in hard enough to the radio.
steven potter: what happenes if your softwware doesnt even open up???why dont you tell
that,,,this is a problem with many baofengs,,my baofeng doesnt even open up
for the software,,i have tried everything,,,error messagem,,i cant even
open it,,,this is screwed completely,,my ham is useless,,,i cant program
myself,,i dont know how,,,i dont know anything about this radio,,i just got
it,,now i cant use it,,,your video is useless because i cant program
James Radabaugh: how did you program your UV-5R my keeps giving me an error im running
windows 7 as well
Jason Gless: How do I learn what any of this means???
MeOnTech: You can get it on my Web page AF5DN dot Com
Ricardo Gomes: What is this antenna to use?
JoniGMovieCorp: you can still use the baofeng USB cable with "chirp".
gorgeous george: it says fail to connect with transceiver,,,WHY,,,why is this doing this,,im
so sick and god dam tired of fukkkin with this radio,,every god dam step of
the fffn way it has a problem,,for a week now i have been wasting my time
trying to program this,,,fail,,faiil,,fail,,every god dam time,,it doesnt
fill in info,,or rrd,,read,,it just says fail,,every godd dam fail sign has
come up,,,why,,why,,why,,i have done everything,,now fail to connect to
Steve Kopcial: Great instruction!!! I had been struggling with the software for about a
week you got me thru it in 10 minutes. Thanks again...N8CJT
wildlancaster1: Hi very useful video, quick question if you don't mind I have downloaded
the software from the Internet and have already started to input some
frequencies however under device manager, printers etc there is nothing
that says USB to serial adaptor. I use Freescan to programme a scanner and
use Com 4 (using a laptop) will that also work?
Tipledan: Big help and tnx, hp cuagn HF nets.
watkins65: Nice instructional vid. The program looks very similar to RT Systems and
should not present a challenge to those who are familiar with their
offerings. Please say what software you used to make this video?
MichiganMan226: I have the uv 5r plus and can't get the software to download can you help
me with this problem ?
TalbizleEnterprises: Props...I like how because you already had all the freq's. in that you
wanted, you just put in the info from the first channel in the last place,
but with a different Ch. ID. -KD8RWX TECH CLASS 73's
Runtothemusic: thanks for the video...
neolexington: I just bought one of these radios and I'm going to program it tonight,
should I enter all of the repeaters in my county or just the ones within
say 10 miles? How far out should I plan to program for? Thanks!
