Yasmin Shiraz: I'm always looking for new ways to style my hair. Much gratitute for producing your videos.
W. Barnes: how long did it take to get that length I am cutting my hair off this month (relaxed damaged hair) ... tell me everything please !
W. Barnes: Wow i am going natural !!!
CanOnlyBe_Ree: clean your room.
A Moore: sidebar: Your teeth are so pretty LOL
Essence of a Belle: Awwe haha thans so much! And yes, I've gone back to protective styles to let my edges grow in and because it's too hot lol
Essence of a Belle: Not sure what you mean by transition...I just washed my hair and it went right back to its natural curl pattern. You can see it in my Marley Braids video at 0:09 :)
swtsnickers: i want to see your natural hair in its normal texture after you decided to transition from the blowout
Essence of a Belle: Thanks! I got it done at a place called Alina's in Maryland. She and her team are all Dominican and they all do a REALLY good job. I don't get my hair blown out anywhere else.
ibetrolling_bitch: can we get a skin regmine
Essence of a Belle: I wore protective styles for about 9 months out of the year and for the last 3 is when i started to wear my natural (heat-free styles) I kept my ends moisturized and washed it about twice a week. Also, I was pregnant during that year so I was taking prenatal vitamins.
Essence of a Belle: They used Moroccan oil after it was all blown out and straightened. I love that stuff! A little goes a longgggg way.
Greenpowerlove: how did you grow your hair so long in a year and what do you use on it
amba ice: You have lovely hair
Essence of a Belle: Nope, no heat damage
keyla965: Ive heard the jamacan black castor oil helps grow out servwrly damaged areas like your edges and other weak or balds spots in the head
keyla965: Dont ever put grease in your hair as it clogs of the hair folicals. Did you get heat damage from the dominican blow out?
Emily Grant: Just put some grease in it...it'll be okay...
(whispers) your hair looks sooooo much better like this.....
Essence of a Belle: If you have naturally curly hair, then once you wash it, your hair will return to its naturally curly texture. Dominican blowouts just use heat...no chemical products are added (unlike the Brazilian blowout) so it doesn't permanently change your hair texture. It's only temporary :)
jaz22blue: cant find the answer to this anywhere but after the getting the blowout on your first wash did you have to restraigten it i.e flat iron it yourself, coz im thinking of doing this on my natural hair but if after two weeks wen I wash it its gonna frizz out then I don't wanna do it
