matthew s: i parked my 2001 ford taurus and now she won't go into gear....i hate to
take it to a shop to have them tell me it's a rebuild job...does anyone
know if it might be something simpler?...i was having no problems before
George Navarro: aahh.... wish I saw this video before, I just ran in to a similar issue on
a 1995 Windstar, it would not move when in reverse. Thanks for the help,
please keep it up.
Thegovernor01: I am having the same problems with my 98 Taurus, Before spending a bunch of
money taking it to a shop for them to tell me I need to rebuild my
Transmission are these parts that I can change. If I then change them am I
going to have an issue since I do not have the computer tools you have? Any
info will help. Thanks....
Hiram Gutierrez: More than likely you are having an electrical issue with the reverse light
circuit. It might be shorted to another circuit.Voltage is supplied by fuse
#6 15AMP and it goes in to the TR sensor on the orange wire and it goes out
to your back up lamps from the black and pink wire. Also note that the same
wire that goes to the back up lamps also goes to the RAP module behind the
integrated control panel.I would disconnect the RAP module first to see if
the problem goes away.If ok,RAP module shorted.
Charles Fred: HOW MUCH DID THIS JOB COST
Hiram Gutierrez: Its an Autel DS708 from MaxiDas.
FT86TT: You should love the scope...all engine check with just a crank!
maxidave1: Nice video and by the what scanner was the one that you eere using at the
end for the reprqmming of the keys?
Petr Babuněk: I had this problems too. But mine was interminent clicking, loose power
steering (looks like steering wheel lock itself for couple of seconds) ans
radio only sound in PARK or NEUTRAL. Dont be scared, fix is no longer than
20 mins. DIY
Daniel M.: hi,,love video,, lota numbers dont quite understand,, but I got a 96
mercury sable, same set up and I changed my transmission range sensor, and
figured out its not it but is in the part where it hooks on,, with the
range sensor installed, I have pull lever thats attached to the acutual
sensor all the way to the left and my power for the radio and windows all
works,, but after i re attach the shifting arm,, and go through gears it
wont spring back all the way to get the power back,,
Daniel M.: but when im driving I hear clicking sometimes back to back and when it
clicks I lose power steering power and radio and windows,,then sometimes it
will click back, then everthings back but not for long,, any idea,, think
my PCM might be the problem,, does that lil rod with the threads that comes
out of the transmission that the auctual sensor is bolted to,, could it be
it, Im just stumped but I have aleast pimpointed the issu !!! Dan
kr1180: My 2003 Ford taurus is doing the same thing, I was wondering if you ever
