Imam Santoso: when update jelly bean samsung galaxy ace plus?
lits Dii: can you give me the link i just cant find it on your channel...im sorry
Qehreman Mecid B.: No look I have samsung gs2 and wishing would nie update to 4.0.4 ics may I
da xxlsj firmware in there do is no problem
WiredMash: There's no need to root your phone in order to flash the official firmware.
Why don't you try updating via Samsung Kies first before your flash the
Jelly Bean firmware?
WiredMash: I am still observing my battery performance as I have noticed it tends to
be less compared to XWLS8.
RI P: i don't have it anymore but that was my score
WiredMash: Honestly, Boris. It's not doing so well with the XWLSD. I'm still observing
as it's still my second day.
WiredMash: Jelly Bean doesn't official support flash, however, you can always download
it. A simple search on Google will generate hundreds of guides of
installing Flash on Jelly Bean :)
WiredMash: Hi Neptunus. Definitely, you can flash the official firmware for your
region via Odin once it comes out. I believe the Philippines and Indonesia
have the same firmware version :) Unfortunately, it might take some time
before it comes out. Patience my friend. :)
WiredMash: Hey Marvin. I got my Galaxy S2 last 2011 too, sometime in November. I don't
have a condo roommate ;)
WiredMash: So you want to update to XXLSJ? That's older compared to XWLS8 and now the
latest XWLSD. I suggest you flash your phone to XWLSD.
iiwiin: is the xwls8 is really the bug free firmware? what about the new one XWLSD?
GaiahEarth: hey when did you get your galaxy s2? Are you that guy on another youtube
video here in the philipiines who got his s2 last 2011 with a condo
roomate?? just asking thanks :D
Borislav Mitsov: would you share what's your battery life after upgrading to jelly bean?
June Sy: @WiredMash I've seen comments that it becomes slow and gets stuck, is this
WiredMash: It's not that laggy ;)
Qehreman Mecid B.: * You must first rooten and then you can update via odin example to Jelly
WiredMash: None. Get the XWLSD firmware ;)
WiredMash: I read that the OTA update for the Spanish firmware is around 21MB.
Ryan Villamor: xwlsd so far it's bug free I've bean using it a few weeks already. I never
experienced any issues. Battery issue from xwls8 was resolved. Maybe xwlse
is not a bug fix? or just a russian version update. I'm still waiting if
there's another update coming and do more readings about these versions. :)
I've seen your website. Nice!
WiredMash: Well, the latest version of Android for the Samsung Galaxy S2 is 4.1.2.
Looks very similar to the S3. You're better off getting a new phone.
WiredMash: Trying out a new platform will always have some adjusting to do. I will
suggest the HTC One or even the newer LG G2. ;)
WiredMash: I haven't even bothered installing the 21MB update. The only bug I have
found so far is with Samsung's keyboard where the predictive text isn't
Mick Dansen: Thanks alot! i still newbie and hope your vid will help me to flash from
ics to JB.
Cajun-al Francois: all depends upon u,android takes a lil time to get use to pesonally i think
the s3 mini is nice..processor not too powerful but it gets the job done
WiredMash: I suggest you get the XWLSD. I noticed one bug with Samsung's keyboard
where predictive text wasn't working on the XWLS8.
Harits Zharif: Yep!!!
salar: heey how can i instal shortcuts on my lockscreen i also have jelly bean
4.1.2 galaxy s2?
RI P: when i had the s2 whit 4.0.4 last year i had 4000 :|
Qehreman Mecid B.: Thanks .
SamsungSir: I have an iPhone 4 right now. Should I upgrade to this or the galaxy s3
SnoofGaming: No, htc one FTW!!
WiredMash: Thanks! I'll add that to my list. Stay tuned for that :)
WiredMash: Yep. It's got motion gestures including Smart Stay ;)
WiredMash: I am glad I am of help to you :) And yes it is rootable. You can use flash
the Siyah Kernel. :)
Nafis Shadman: Battery life? Is it better than ICS?
WiredMash: Give it a few days so that the battery can calibrate with the new firmware.
Have you tried discharging it too?
RI P: what score u have in quadrant whit 4.1.2 ?
WiredMash: Yep, that's how I got the official Jelly Bean update for my region
(Philippines). Check out the XWLSS Firmware Video I have up on my channel.
It's a firmware meant for the UK ;)
WiredMash: Yep. I didn't know that back then. :)
WiredMash: And how are you finding it so far?
Ryan Villamor: Can I ask an advice wiredmash? Have you tried flashing the official jb
4.1.2 to a rooted s2 running a nightly rom 4.1.2? Is it possible to flash
it thru odin? Like just a normal procedure?
Harits Zharif: Thats cos I think Ive not been downloading too much apps for a start!
Ryan Villamor: Have you found out that a new bug fix update for XWLS8 is already out.
Jelly bean 4.1.2 XWLSD.
WiredMash: Well, I have been using the Official Samsung Firmware 4.1.2 for the
Philippines for the past week and I honestly can notice the lag now
especially when I have around a dozen Apps installed.
neptunus 2: hi wiredmash, i am from indonesia. if my galaxy s2 working in jelly bean
XWLS8 now, can i flash official firmware from my region with samsung kies?
