Did this video help you?

God: What if you have IE11, downgraded to IE10, but want IE9? I can't find IE10 anywhere like it doesn't exist.

Yoshiller: WAIT WHAT!? HOW DID YOU RECORD YOUR COMPUTER EVEN WHEN IT WAS RESTARTING!?

Joey Cocivera: What if Internet Explorer 10 isn't in the list? I have IE10, but it doesn't show up in the Installed Updates list.

Alex Putra: if i select "turn windows feature on/off" and i untick the internet exploreer 10, would it be just the same?

Pratik Shah: Thank you.!

Serge Lobov: thanks a lot!!!

jen kindig: quick and painless- thanks!

carlos augusto: I have got a question: you downgraded to 9 version. I mean - 10 > to. but if even so, I want to downgrade from 9 to 8, is that possible to carry out like this or I should carry it out in another way ?

Bowling Bow: So simple,BUT PERFECT !!! Thanx a lot

Ovidiu Istrate: Very nice. I was looking for a solution like this few weeks ago.

ensio2: Spot on, cheers pal.

Ismail Wan: Forgot to mention, right after i rebooted my computer, there's this pop-up window asking about whether i want to manage my personal setting or preferences or somewhat (can't remember well), and i clicked no.

Matt Horner: No worries IE10 still has alot of bugs can understand that people would like to downgrade.

Matt Horner: For windows 8? The story is you can't downgrade Windows 8 - I would recommend Safari / Firefox / Chrome instead.

Matt Horner: VMware Workstation, the recording is of a VM also.

Matt Horner: +1

Zoide: Could you please post the link? I looked through your videos and couldn't find it.

ernie ho: Thank you so much man! IE10 is frustrating.

rsr9706: I downgraded because kaspersky anti virus wasn't compatible with IE10. In would have never guessed 9 would just 'be there ' after you just uninstall 10 thanks

Matt Horner: Yeh but IE10 remains to have bugs.

Susan Ryan: Worked like a charm! Thanks so much for posting this.

Matt Horner: Thanks.

chaofreaks1: Did you heard? They made IE11 Devolpent Preview

phweakwilled: Oh, I downgraded because IE10 dropped support for old fashioned group policy settings using "branding policy". Have to get my head around group policy preferences before i deploy IE10 in production environment!

Matt Horner: Yeh - preferences are really easy - HOWEVER. They are just preferences and can be overwritten unlike GPOs

Brooklyn Bobby: Because IE 10 sucks, that's why!

Matt Horner: No worries IE10 still has alot of bugs can understand that people would like to downgrade.

Naskabir Vengassery: thanks for the short but great tutorial

Matt Horner: Debatable - has some compatibility issues.

Naveed Awan: HI MPJ Horner, In my wondows 8 i cant see Internet Explorer 10 under updates. i tried to turn it off in windows features and tried to install older version but it cant whiel saying that internet explorer 9 is already installed. any idea what can be done ? i want to downgrade because its not compatible with some features of my client online system. Waiting for your reply, thanks in advance.

Cesar Alvarez HD: But internet explorer 10 is faster than 9 and 8 lol

Matt Horner: This tutorial was for Windows 7. On Windows 8 I think it is under Add/Remove Program and Features - not updates. Uninstall it and you may have Windows 8, failing that find the download and install once IE10 is uninstalled.

Jim Boelter: So simple, didn't think IE 9 would be there after an uninstall. Nice little video, thanks so much!

Ismail Wan: Hi. I have a problem. I have followed the correct steps of downgrading to IE9 but after i have rebooted my computer, i cannot open the IE browser (it shows unidentified icon, like the icon of files of unsupported format). When i tried searching for the installed programs (in programs and features), i cannnot find IE in my computer but when I tried to reinstall IE, it states that i already have IE previously installed in my computer. What should i do?

Matt Horner: See my other video, I have one for Win8

Matt Horner: Certaintly should, eventually they will iron out the problems.

phweakwilled: Cheers buddy. Needed to know what update was called. Doh! Pretty obvious really. You can also search for the update name!

delirium.dolcissimo: Awesome! Hopefully this will clear up the problems my anti-virus was having with IE 10. However, I ended up with IE 8. How come?

wkbarney: thankyou helped me out it was driving me up the wall

Matt Horner: Yeh I know, it takes time for some vendors to make there applications compatible.

Matt Horner: Yeh it seems it will be released with Windows 8.1 and Server 2012 R2

Matt Horner: It's like the 'first time' message that it always shows on IE on first use, either button isn't permanent.

Matt Horner: No worries, glad you found it useful. Subscribe for more!

Matt Horner: If you google 'Downgrade IE10 Windows 8' there are a few in detail guides that should be able to help you out.

Naveed Awan: thanks for your reply , but i cant find it anywhere.

FraZxPS3: How to downgrade it on windows 8 any tips?

Sona Kocourkova: thank you! really useful ;-)

Bette Chamblin: Thank you. Didn't know it was that easy. IE 10 has caused some software compatibility problems and that should fix it.

Matt Horner: Yeh alot easier to downgrade than those would think!
