jc Momma: Awesome! Our VUE is on the UPS truck right now! Ours will come with 4 boxes
of VUE cups but I will save several to recycle! I am so trying it! I much
appreciate you posting this!
cibolodave: genius!! i will totally have to give this a try
Arthur Kirk: My mom just got the V700 for Mother's day but this will come in handy once
the coffee eventually runs out. Guess this means I don't have to her the
Amie Martin: I'm going to try your technique using a tea bag for iced tea! Any
Barry Engolio: anyone try Empty TeaBags 5X6 cm Self Heat Seal
Robert Frazier: Awesome, I've been out all week and just spent a hundred bucks on a new
order...this will work during transition. Thank you for sharing!!!
Jesse Pollock: Great thinking
Susan Kelly: what kind of filter?
Smc111860: I am on a roll now!! I just figured how to use the kcup in it using the
regular size plastic. cut off the plastic around the bottom. You can do
sides too, but the main thing is to cut enough plastic off so it fits into
the vue plastic holder. One placed inside the holder, secure with a piece
of tape to the plastic and brew!
dnewel99: @saint kaile: a regular round coffee filter. The one I used is an 8-12 cup
MariaFelecity: This is awesome... I have the Vue 700, and there are not many flavors to
choose from that I like.. and the refillable filter cup I bought leaves
sediment of the coffee in my cups of coffee, which I do not like. This is
wonderful for me until new flavors come out.. Thanks for posting.
420420KAT: google coffeeoutlaw or coffeetitan go to ether website, you'll find it there
Luis Calle: Thanks a lot. Very useful.
happybunnypwnz: I tried this this morning, following your instructions, and got a mountain
of sludge. :*( The hole at the top of the filter was HUGE compared to
what's in yours, and after 4 attempts, I gave up.
Smc111860: I just tried this and did exactly what he did and it worked. So I decided
not to use a staple and no foil and it worked! I just twisted the filter
really tight, put it in the cup and smoothed it out, closed the brewer and
it worked perfectly!! I just spent the rest of the evening making my own
pods then put the made up pods back into the coffee bag and into the
fridge. Tomorrow I plan on taking the solo cup back!!!
dnewel99: @JMMayoneI have used the strong feature and didn't experience this issue,
one thing I found out was the you have to make an even top layer however if
you like your brew strong go with three scoops and brew on the regular
setting. Let me know how you make out. Happy brewing
DontShootTheMessenger: THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH !! (CAPS USED ON PURPOSE~I AM SHOUTING) THIS IS
SOOOOOO GREAT ... I EVEN MADE ICE COFFEE 16OZ !!! AND I USED HEAVY DUTY
FOIL (PRODUCED A BETTER PUNCTURE) AND I ALSO DID COVER THE SPOUT WITH FOIL
AND SEAL OVER THE WHOLE CUP ... THE MACHINE ALSO PUNCTURES A HOLE ON THE
SPOUT. I USED THREE SCOOPS MADE A BIG DIFFERENCE !! IT IS STILL WAY CHEAPER
NO MATTER WHAT !! THANK YOU DNEWEL99 ~ IT'S GENIUS !!!!!!!
DontShootTheMessenger: HA HA ... VUE CUPS ARE THE ONE THING I ACTUALLY RECYCLE NOW .. SO I AM
OFFICIALLY GREEN !!!!! LMAO !!
Crystal Taunton: i just tried it and it worked great! Thank you!!
Patti Maska: You rock! This is better than a permanent filter! No clean up at all!
Jrat Creeper: You are a genius!!! Thank you much for posting this. I just made my first
cup from my folgers grounds with the VUE as per your recycled vue pod pack
wolg24: Good video, they just came out with the solofill gold v1 at kohls. I just
bought one yesterday. And my vue is on the way I will post a video when I
get my vue.
Smc111860: Oh I forgot to add, I can no use up all my bagged coffee, but now need a
used travel mug plastic to use up all those k cups I have!!! Lol
dnewel99: The reusable cup comes from any VUE pod I didn't buy it. My unit cam with a
50 pod supply we just saved a few cups and reused them
さん トム: Can you provide a link? I can't find a reusable vue cup ANYWHERE.
Jason Muessel: Great video tried it and works great... This will work great not sure if
they market a refill container like the k cup I may still do this method
glad I kept all 300 empty vue packs will make some of my own when I am low
on supplies as vue pjs are hard to find where I live! Thanks again
dnewel99: Thanks Luis
pvin01681: I haven't tried this idea yet but have you been successful in making a
latte using this method?
DontShootTheMessenger: Cover the spout with foil ... it's ok ... and no grinds !!
dnewel99: @JMMayone I tried my VUE on Strong again today and I didn't get any grinds
in my cup
dnewel99: @Kw doh enjoy $aving $ome dollar$
dnewel99: @pvin01681 I haven't made a latte with the VUE yet but I will let you know
when I do
aviyashar: great idea, but scrap the staple! that's gross and unhealthy. If you just
folder the filter over a few time and push it to the bottom, the foil
should keep it down in place and there's no need for the staple!
