Charles Ronk: Oh and by the way yes my son did roll his stuck his arm out and snapped it
in three places. Be Careful.
scannerguy1968: 2:41 just convinced me to get one. Was gonna ask but don't have to now.
Charles Ronk: My son bought one of these in 2009 and when it was new it would not idle,
and top speed was only about 20 mph. Since then I have had 2 CDI boxes go
out on it and now I believe the stator is bad because it isn't giving the
specs called for in their manual. I was thinking maybe the stator has been
under charging the CDI all along that is why the lack of speed and no idle
and the CDI's going bad. If you know anything about this please share. Also
curious about what upgrades you have made to your cart.
TheHopson: Friday the 13th @2:07
mvstahl123: How fast
Fabio Rodman: Cool
Gabe Mathis: Is the American Sportworks Carbide made in America? I'm so tired of all
this cheap Chinese crap!
Dustin perry: did'nt break any fingers? looks fun haha
Gabe Mathis: +MarcelsWorkshop
Loke Man: gotta learn to fight that natural instinct to put your hands up when
rolling over. In a larger vehicle, like a jeep, you would have lost that
Ryan Dean: Wow, your property is the stuff my dreams are made of.
Simon De Asian: how much brand new and do they sell any 2 seaters that are around 800 brand
MarcelsWorkshop: Thanks! Ya that would of been cool for this video. I didn't have one then,
but I do now. :D
glistauto: Cool vid!, just be careful sticking your arm out when you roll!
MarcelsWorkshop: @pretzel1253 I know at least the front suspension does because that's what
hits first and takes most of the impact. I don't know if the back
suspension does though. I am/was around 115lb.
Alex parcells: How the freak did u make it go faster mine is crap and only goes 20 :( it
Vic: Nice video, you should get a GoPRO camera :)
Brian Weisenberg: How fast do that thing go?
MarcelsWorkshop: @Jeffrey1135 nah my hand never got pinched, just looks that way from the
angle it was shot. :)
TrialByFire76: Great video.. i'm getting ready to buy the same kart you have - American
Sportworks Quantum 150 or the Hammerhead 150GTS. Not sure which one yet.
MarcelsWorkshop: Nice! I have hardly any miles on mine because I only really drive it around
our back yard every now and then. :P
MarcelsWorkshop: @gravedddigger Ya it's a pretty good cart. Seams pretty solid, I've lost
count on how many times i've jumped it and rolled it and nothings broke yet
except for the fenders, but those went back on easily by just using some
big washers around where it came off the bolt. Now in stock form it was
really lacking in power, but with around $100 in mods it makes it way
MarcelsWorkshop: @gravedddigger If it's the poping i'm thinking of, It's just because it's
getting a bit too much fuel so it's backfiring when I go from full throttle
to no throttle. :P
MarcelsWorkshop: think it was just over $2000
MarcelsWorkshop: I'm not sure, I've never measured how long it takes to go from completely
full to empty. It seems pretty good on gas to me?
MarcelsWorkshop: Thanks! lol. Ya they are pretty fun. :D They just require a few mods to get
the most out of em. :P
MarcelsWorkshop: @Asburyk Ya the mods you can do to this engine seem endless. Just recently
bought a new cam and ported and polished head. The problem now is finding
the time to do the modding. :P
MarcelsWorkshop: @TheHonda7 Thanks! =-)
MarcelsWorkshop: Thanks! The path around the woods was made by the people the owned the
house before us and they just picked the path of least resistance through
the woods so they didn't have to cut down many trees. We just widened it a
bit and the only maintenance we really have to do to it is cut up trees
that fall across the path. Nothing really grows on the trail except for
grass and weeds which is easy enough to run over. :P
WiryOak .: @MarcelsWorkshop Thanks =D. Btw, were these things made at? There not china
crap are they?
Chuckie Bosworth: sorry, i didnt see the rest of the description, thanks
john elgin: Nice video, and your Carbide looks pretty awesome. Just wondering about
their reliability. I was thinking about getting my kid a 90cc mini-atv, but
i'd rather invest in something like your Carbide because of the added
safety the rollbars profide; however I'm hesitant to get one because I'm
concerned about their reliability. Any info you can give me in this
MarcelsWorkshop: Its not governed.
MarcelsWorkshop: It's been super reliable and I run it pretty hard. If your gentle on it and
perform regular maintenance it should last forever.
blitch7722: How much were the mods in total?
MarcelsWorkshop: @baseballluvr2 It drives nice. I payed about $2100 CAD. :P
GinjaNinjazGuildZ: Is this land yours? Man i wish i had a place near where i live so i can do
that. ( Im getting one) =D
alec mix: To make it go faster take out the governor
MarcelsWorkshop: @minihooch99 Princess Auto and TSC Stores carry them. Don't know if
anywhere else does.
MarcelsWorkshop: No Problem
12doogy: There good gokarts/buggies
WiryOak .: @MarcelsWorkshop okay, please look at my dirtbike vid, it shows what i ride
in. (dry, and mostly sand/dirt) P.s, Thanks for the fast reply
Conner Henning: I have a machine like this I will make a vid a send u it in want to mod it
and need tips
Alex parcells: Where's the governor on this
MarcelsWorkshop: Maybe if we actually get enough rain this summer to make mud. :P
718mattmatt: i have one but mine is the zircon and i have baja lights, a winch, a bigger
battery to hold the power, powerand soon getting bigger treaded tires
MarcelsWorkshop: 64km/h (40mph)
MinibikeMike Wilson: When u gonna put a motorcycle motor on it
