MarcelsWorkshop: I believe they make a speed reduction kit for these, perhaps you got one with the kit installed?
MarcelsWorkshop: I don't believe there is a governor on this
MarcelsWorkshop: 64km/h (40mph)
Alex parcells: How the freak did u make it go faster mine is crap and only goes 20 :( it sucks
Alex parcells: Where's the governor on this
Brian Weisenberg: How fast do that thing go?
MarcelsWorkshop: yess Mr. Buzz Killington
joey BOYER: keep ur hands inside the bars for ur fingers safety
MarcelsWorkshop: lmao! yup! :P
funnyshitstartsnow: at 2:50 your fingers turnt into incredible hulk fingers and flipped the gokart back over!!!
MarcelsWorkshop: Its not governed.
MarcelsWorkshop: It's been super reliable and I run it pretty hard. If your gentle on it and perform regular maintenance it should last forever.
alec mix: To make it go faster take out the governor
letsgetrealable: good driving
john elgin: Nice video, and your Carbide looks pretty awesome. Just wondering about their reliability. I was thinking about getting my kid a 90cc mini-atv, but i'd rather invest in something like your Carbide because of the added safety the rollbars profide; however I'm hesitant to get one because I'm concerned about their reliability. Any info you can give me in this regards? Thanks
MarcelsWorkshop: To make it faster you have to change the internals of the engine. there's a forum dedicated to this kind of stuff. think it was called buggymasters. that would be a good place to start. Top speed on mine is 64km/h (40mph). I haven't done anything to add speed, all the mods I've done were to add power.
TheQzkid718: I have this same exact go kart and I want to know how I can make it faster? And How fast were you going?
MarcelsWorkshop: why is that?
Allen Weber: My plan for my go kart is to re-jet the carb and get rid of the muffler plus a uni foam filter but my mom won't let me 8(
MarcelsWorkshop: about $2600 CAD and doubt it. :P
Simon De Asian: how much brand new and do they sell any 2 seaters that are around 800 brand new?
MarcelsWorkshop: I'm not sure, I've never measured how long it takes to go from completely full to empty. It seems pretty good on gas to me?
MarcelsWorkshop: I'll probably never get around to doing that. :P I don't have much time for the toys these days.
MarcelsWorkshop: Thanks man! :D
michael wilson: When u gonna put a motorcycle motor on it
1985crabtree: i just got one of these in trade a got running but seems to drink fuel pretty good. how long does a tank of gas last you?
Darrell webb: Iowa gave it a thumbs down and I have one of my own its beast
mikeinwtby: Who would thumbs down this? Awesome footage AND editing man! People don't realize how underpowered these buggies are and it takes a good driver and long straightaways to shred like you did
MarcelsWorkshop: I took off all the junk around the air filter, it's now just an open K&N filter.
MarcelsWorkshop: nice! why so cheap?
Andy yohnson: i just got the same buggy replaced the cdi. coil and all that im hoping its the carb.. does yours have the snorkle kit?
MrKnuckles8978: 2:40 Barrel Roll Fail!
rayan gazader: I just got one of these for 200$ :))))
MarcelsWorkshop: Tis my parents land not mine, I just borrow it lol. Nice, I'm sure you'll find some fun place to drive it. :D
GinjaNinjazGuildZ: Is this land yours? Man i wish i had a place near where i live so i can do that. ( Im getting one) =D
MarcelsWorkshop: no idea :P
munch muncher: did this kart get discontinued, because i want to buy one?
MarcelsWorkshop: I'm not a mechanic. I would just find some buggy forums and see what kind of stuff others are doing that have your kart. That's where I usually start. Only mods I could really suggest is get a better air filter, gut the exhaust or buy a custom performance exhaust, re-jet, and maybe play around with the clutch settings.
Conner Henning: I have a machine like this I will make a vid a send u it in want to mod it and need tips
MarcelsWorkshop: think it was just over $2000
Johnathan Christiasn: how much was that go kart 1000$?
718mattmatt: @MarcelsWorkshop i got my gokart at tractor supply co, thats where you can get tires for it i just need money first then i will get bigger tires they are about 65 bucks a piece but totally worth it once you see them
MarcelsWorkshop: got it so long ago I cant remember. I think it was around $2000.
MarcelsWorkshop: Ya lol, all cars should come with roll cages so they wouldn't break so easily. :P
MarcelsWorkshop: Sweet! :D Bigger more aggressive tires would be nice, but if the engine power is left as is, you would probably loose a lot of bottom end, although you may gain some top end.
Goofybud16: Flips...Drives away. Take that CARS!
