Mourning Wood: Now, is that a double/triple tap allowing range? if so, where? also if you
are going to do an overhand load, it's much more ergonomic to grip the
shell between your index and pinky fingers, letting your middle and ring
TigerG2: Surprisingly they haven't returned my email yet.
Mario Rodriguez: I use to live in the "H" style barracks near the post office in the mid
80's, can't remember the street name?.. Swoop Circle, formations, Junk on a
bunk...The Corps never changes!...I'm interested in the 930 SPX but I hear
the thing has issues, or was having issues with jamming, loading, and
failures to eject. I'm trying to fonz someone who has fired this shotgun
several time without issues!....How has it been for you Leather Neck?
usmccapdevil: @TigerG2 wow, not sure. The only guns that should have rust are wasr 10.
Makes you wonder were they stored it at, also if one of them was playing
with it or even used it a little, you will be the judge on that as you can
tell what type of shop they run by talking to them. Send mossberg an email
with all the info asking if they send out referb's. I'm sure mossberg will
take care of you.
mroneniceguy: Can you list the ammo names that you used... I just got a JM PRO 930...
Which 3 inch ammo did you like best? Thanks =)
usmccapdevil: @TigerG2 You would have to show or tell me how did the loading gate
scratches are. If they are light then its just from better handled at the
shop. Same goes for the receiver, if it sat up at a shop people worked the
action and guns in the cases don't get lubed up. Mine was a gen 2 because
of the charging handle(if there is a gen 3 i am not aware of it) The gen 1
had a small metal charging handle like a ruger 10/22. I hope this helped
and your scratches aren't to bad.
TheRealTDawg: mines in lay-away right now and should be paid off in less than a month,
cant wait!!! i wanna run it so bad!!! btw semper fi devil! <--- coming from
a "former" Marine!
SoCal Choppas: I have the latest Generation SPX, had to return it to Mossberg and got a
replacement my was made/packed August 2011. Same problems since it was
first introduced. Canted Sights, Loose Trigger Group, abnormal wear under
gas piston area.
usmccapdevil: sorry to hear that, some people just get the bad apples
usmccapdevil: If you watch closely I click it off safe to fire and i was using that
finger in front of the trigger to hold the gun up and down range.
usmccapdevil: @SoCalChoppas sorry to hear that, i seem to get lucky on things like this,
I have a good Wasr 10/63, PF9, Taurus TCP and 930 spx.
usmccapdevil: @TigerG2 Send me a PM if you need more info
usmccapdevil: under pressure your right people can short stroke a pump shotgun.
usmccapdevil: I don't, to completely different shotguns. I like the the 590A1 more than
the 500 if i had to pick between apples. The 930 is just the most
affordable semi-auto shotgun. would I like a benelli m4 shotgun, yes. will
i spend 1300 on one, no
Peter421: finger in the trigger guard while loading seems dangerous :)
TheHomeDefender: Nice vid! Good to see the 930 eat anything. My Benelli M1 doesn't cycle a
certain round. I can't remember off the top of my head. I'll have to check
my range notebook.
deusredeemer: id buy a 18 or 20 inch barrel 4 the remington and stick with it 4 hd and
hunting ...the 870 is A LEGEND ........
TigerG2: @usmccapdevil Mine has the over sized charging handle and all and i made
sure the front site was straight. But they took the gun out of the back
still in plastic so that was my concern. Also in the charging handle itself
it has rust in it i still haven't got it all out but its not a big deal.
But i feel like the gun was a reused or something along those lines im not
thealize808: you prefer the 930 over 500 why?
gurney85: the wiggle is quite normal.
usmccapdevil: I only shot 3" slugs from Remington, when i was rapid firing it was just 7
1/2 shot not sure which brand. I wanted to get the JM but couldn't find one
when i bought mine.
James Jones: Great video but I am a little creeped out by the kid staring in the
beginning of the video.
Nick MANTRA: mine will not eject low brass
TigerG2: i just bought a 930 how can i tell what generation it is? and a couple
things the gate has some scratches on it? and i haven't shot it yet also
when the bolt is pulled back on the interior of the receiver is all
scratched up also and this was not a floor model. The reason i say this
because im thinking it was a gun sent back and they through a couple things
on it and sent it on its way. response or comfort on this subject would be
great also great video man!
usmccapdevil: shoots as fast as the FN or Benelli but at half the cost and you loose a
smoother action. I did wish they choked the barrel
usmccapdevil: @TheHomeDefender Ya it shot even the cheap wal-mart steel bottom remington
usmccapdevil: @TheRealTDawg You won't be disappointing, semi-auto is so quick rather than
using my pump. Mossberg really fixed all those small issue on the
manufacturing side. Also Happy Birthday from Chesty
Moses&Rigby*****: Nice Video JarHead! Liked to opening what base is that? This ol Seabee just
got a Mossy 930 SPX is a bad mamma Jammer. I paid $640.00 for mine in
georgia Looking for a good light and a bigger saftey button. thanks for
your service Keep on keeping on ! Moses
paultana: Nice shotgun,I was thinking about getting a shotgun and was considering the
930.Went to Gateway and watched a 3 gun mach Sat. and it looked pretty cool.
TigerG2: @usmccapdevil well i bought it from pickles sporting goods, but thanks for
the help man im going to message mossberg right now.
usmccapdevil: @TigerG2 Give it a day or two. It takes a while for customer service to get
through emails and respond to each of them
TigerG2: @usmccapdevil alright also have you notice your trigger guard wiggles? im
disappointed with Mossberg on this one i wanted it to be a good first
experience. live and learn i guess.
usmccapdevil: Lejeune. Theres another shotage going on right now
usmccapdevil: It has worked well, a few jams from not cleaning it after the last trip
out(my fault) i keep this shotgun near my bed if that tells you anything.
