Max Savino: Everyone always usese this "scorpion green" That is an old color. Is it
more similar to Moot green, or skarsnik green? Whats the closest thing in
the new line?
R1nk3Y0r1k: can u plz do another grey knight, but with nemesis forcesword and the
newpaints, that would be awesome (sorry if i sound ungreatfull :P)
IrishSpyral: One of the best tutorials for 'crons I've seen. Cheers -) For all the
people confused about the paint names - maybe put annotations to convert
the older colours that you used to the current names??
HavvKsentiV: Hi, really great video :) Just wondering how you would assemble/connect
each piece after they have been painted, perhaps you use super glue only?
Or maybe you add some green stuff to "stick" them together?
Jobe06660: Very helpful! Thanks Jay.
gyroscope12345: Great tutorial; not too hard and not too easy to employ those same
techniques for my own... In 6 months when I start to collect for real. Haha.
Mjimmij: which model do you propose for a beginner?
Thomas Erickson: Very nice, I would've never thought of using golden sun as the final
highlight on the green. Thanks so much for taking the time to post this
jackrmcgHD: this has probably already been mentioned but is there a forum or a website
that does colours from the old to new citadel paints (i.e. ultramarine blue
-> macragge blue), i cant see coments for some reason but i am pretty sure
someone has probably already mentioned this, thanks :)
xTheSweetyMan: my friend put a grid on the console of the driver to make it look more like
a targeting computer ;D
frustrationgamer: i love this new way to make tutorials! (although im still wating for
Vehementi: Nicely done. One thing I do with my Necrons, is after I've done the
metallic areas, I go over their teeth/mouths with a thin layer of black
wash. Just makes it stand out more.
françois Moukarzel: Thank you so much for this video. Very interesting and useful
Jasen Rhodes: Lol this guy needs to invest in some new brushes. Amazing painting tho i
have to say.
Miniwargamer Jay: You are very welcome. Glad I could help. Doomsday arks are awesome!!!
Miniwargamer Jay: Thanks a lot. I am really glad you like the new format. I was concerned
people would not like the length.
UnknownEntity334: awewsome! extremely helpful, im looking so forward to painting mine now:D
and yes- please do more vehicles it was really good!
Miniwargamer Jay: Thanks a lot. I am really glad people like the new style. I am definitely
going to keep making them this way. I know they are a little longer, but I
think it is worth it.
RiFFxxx: Excellent work J, who'd a thought painting tutorials could be so
entertaining. Great vid.
Miniwargamer Jay: Thanks a lot. I definitely want to start a fantasy army, but have not
decided which one. I know the empire is next for a new army book. However,
there are 4 armies that I think are awesome... Too much to choose from :)
Miniwargamer Jay: Great suggestion. For this week, I will be making a Purifier tutorial.
However, in a few weeks, I am going to do another purifier tutorial with
the new paints and probably new techniques (such as using the new dry
silver paint). Hope you like it :)
gubaguy: wish i had been smart nough to paint first then assemble becuase now
painting my ark is going to be a pain in the ass
Sam Urman: Can the same steps be used on a necron Annihilation barge?
sunpop7: Wow a free tutorial on painting that is actually pretty helpful and the
paint job is good. This almost seems impossible to happen.
Miniwargamer Jay: Great Suggestion. My goal is to eventually cover all of the necron models,
especially the new ones :)
DDeathTheKid: u so awsome
sunpop7: Look up a color conversion chart as it might have had it's name changed
recently when they switched all the names on all the paints.
Nightwing862: Can you make a video of the Nekthyst Dynasty color scheme? I believe it's
on page 72 of the necron codex.
Bobby Simpson: Thanks for the Great vid. Well done, love it..I see you paint with an
angled brush tip? Did you bend the brush yourself or buy it that way. New
to painting and all these pro videos are helping me. Thanks
Calvin Trautmann: you should make more necron vehicle videos like a gost or anniahlation
Luiix424: Nice Job!
AkimboJonesx21: I want to paint the highlights and lights red. What kind of mixture do you
think i should use?
Scott Clarkson: Headphones. Derp.
toddsteeleable: wear gloves?
Ayrton Farrell: Really helped with the edge highlighting! thanks so much Subbed!!
rogerwilco99: Why do you guys have to make the music get so %*# loud?!? Not everyone
likes the music you like and some of us watch these at night while OTHERS
ARE SLEEPING. (woke my gf up and she was PISSED -- thanks a pantload...) I
like your painting, though. But I wouldn't choose the colors you have.
That's just a preference thing, though.
emo otaku: how long does it take for the paint to dry?
Miniwargamer Jay: Thats a great idea. That would add some really cool detail to the model.
TitanArrowz: my channel has a vid on my annihilation barge, tell me how well you thought
i painted it
JeansGlow: Hi, do you have any suggestions how to paint the orbs, and "glowing" areas
you painted in green colors with blue (light blue) colors instead ? I use
Vallejo Paint or the old GW colors. Thanks alot. I like your Necron
tutorials so far, good work.
Max Savino: Is that black wash the same as "Nulin Oil" ?
80MaxWell08: Ok thank you for this video since I have been looking to paint some Grey
Knight Terminators but didn't know about all the different techniques. Also
I saw your video on how to paint them as well so thanks for that too though
I find this one way more helpful since I still need to learn how to do
things like highlighting and this one does show how to do 2 types of
maliceeternal: nice job man, keep em coming.
CallMeGarber: are these citadel paints or something else?
