TurbinationE: @Erinsanity All right. Thanks for the help!
S117Rules: I want to get into this drawing stuff. What program do you suggest I use?
2rosaleen: i luv drawing but im kinda bad at it but i will show u a vid of my
fluttershy and i want u yo see if its good or not mabey a few other poyies
OrigamiSatan: @QUEEN6941 11 year old bronies? Impossible!
Meshmeal1: @eddolus that's what I want to know too
James R: @Lylybellx3 He used a pressure sensitive graphics tablet, the harder you
press with the digital pen, the thicker the line becomes
HardToBeAPoopGod: i'm so sorry for asking and i guess this question was asked for a million
times but what paint tool do you use for the lines?
luiza videos: is easy
Blank: @RetardedGuitarGuy I think he meant a protractor.
Anna Nola: @fanderer do one part of the body at a time. It works.
SurealBlurr: @dragoartofficial Where can I buy said tablet? I've been wondering for a
while now lol
nicoxsanti19: I can't seem to get the eyes right for my life, can anyone give me so
Settwi: Too bad I don't own a tablet... Guess pencils will have to do
tooawefullydifferent: that's just so incredibly wonderful... i don't even know what to say.
Jvizzlezz: @dragoartofficial So... when you first started drawing, were your lines
terrible and sloppy like mine? I don't want to believe it when my art
teacher says "You're born with your talents, you can write amazing stories
with your imagination but you simply can't draw". I look up all the things
I'm doing wrong, but I can't find anything. My hand movements are just
ugly. I can think of a picture perfectly inside my head and describe it
(detailed) in words, but I can't project it onto the paper.
Christian Friis Sørensen: @Jvizzlezz Your art teacher is just wrong, anyone can learn how to draw.
What you need to do is block out the shapes that make out what you want to
draw first. And adhere to some anatomical guidelines if you're drawing
people or animals. I know a dude in my art class who keeps getting
frustrated about how ugly his drawings turn out, but for some reason he
also keeps ignoring the guidelines and advice he's given... So just stick
with it, and keep practicing... and draw swiftly for smoother lines.
TheOfficial Roygbiv: Wait a minute,where are Fluttershy's bottom eyelashes?Oh well,It's probably
an old pic. But mostly, nice job.
NiveousArt: @supersonicfan990 My Wacom Bamboo small tablet was $70 at Best Buy
destroymyEpets: my came oit good
Peter Weyland: Uggghhh... you accomplish in 3 minutes what it currently takes me hours -_-
PewDiePie: Awesome I want to design a fan game for my little pony and this will help
me alot. Can you give a tutorial on a walking fluttershy by any chance?
fanderer: I recently got into drawing and I'm pretty bad at it :p does anyone have
any advice on how to get better other than practice? Could someone perhaps
tell me some methods of practicing > ~ <
evertime123: @RetardedGuitarGuy yes, it lets you make near perfect circles. Its also
used in geometry.
Dawngaward0110: Use a pen tablet and some good editing software like GIMP. Makes the lines
sharper/smoother and everything else better.
Dawngaward0110: Are you drawing on a computer? If, make sure to use a good pen tablet and
some advanced painting program like Gimp, photoshop, or anything with good
pressure support (paint.net doesn't have this!)
Negau Kagayaku: @fanderer Try looking for references on the internet, to pick up techniques
for anatomy, eyes, etc.
Erinsanity: @TurbinationE You have more control with a pencil, but it's easier to erase
and undo mistakes digitally. You should practice with traditional tools
first and then move on to a tablet.
Will: absolutely awesome. may i inquire what software program do you use?
SleepyMilkshakes: @fanderer Hm... well, I know that holding up your drawings backwards to the
light (or flipping it horizontally if you're drawing it on the computer)
helps you spot any errors or inconsistencies. As far as practice goes (as
TheClairCat said) focus on different parts of your subject separately. If
you don't, you'll be overwhelmed and won't know where to start. (Ah, I love
aspiring artists~ XD) Good luck! :D
Athene1121: I thought it was an official drawing for a second. You're really good at
girldbzlover: THANK YOU SO MUCH! Dre little fluttershy perfectly!
MrColeknows: dude...this is beastly. You did a nice job drawing her. I gotta try drawing
kittykatty105: I did it (says like fluttershy,) yay!
fristdynamo: Anyway, I'm not sure if this is flash, but it looks like it; flash has
automatic curve-correction, so.
FlowingDepths: @GreenJokerToker -slowly slides fat fluttershy picture under notebook- No,
you're the only one :D Nah, jkjk haha. I should try drawing this sometime.
Gianna martinez: Yay.....
fristdynamo: What are you guys talking about? There's a tool called a compass and it
makes circles. How old are some of the people commenting on here that
they've never seen a compass before?
evertime123: @RetardedGuitarGuy With a compass. What do you think THAT IS?
swordmaul: These are amazing! Rainbow Dash next please!
Misswerewolffan: I say to just draw something easy that looks impressive (like an apple
really nicely shaded) and show your friends. Ask if they would like to
request a drawing. If they want one, give them one, but try something
harder. The more requests you do the better you'll get :) it works
TurbinationE: @Erinsanity I don't think that I will ever be able to draw well enough to
make it worthwhile buy a tablet. I am pretty horrible at drawing. Do you
have any tips on how I should practice?
2rosaleen: can i use a part of ur vid in my vid just a lil part????
Lylybellx3: What the heck? So good O_O What was this drawn with? The lines changed
thickness, in some parts, instantly which is awesome..
racheal storrow: i can draw a good fluttershy too!(i have beed drawing for 10 years
Rawrandblar: really need to start using flash more.
chibichibininjachibi: @RetardedGuitarGuy If you are more comfortable with a mouse you could
always use the line tool.
