And a Tablet
S117Rules: I want to get into this drawing stuff. What program do you suggest I use?
Gianna martinez: Yay.....
Panther Pryde: Thanx man
Kaiimaju: Try recording yourself while drawing something, then watch the recording a few times so that you can notice the mistakes you make and learn from them. Hope this helps.
Dawngaward0110: Use a pen tablet and some good editing software like GIMP. Makes the lines sharper/smoother and everything else better.
StonedNinja422: FFS I CANT GET THE NOSE RIGHT
PizzaisNOTpie: Draw lighter. You are screwed if if you mess up pressing hard on the paper. If you are drawing something/one/pony look more at it, than your paper. The results will look better that way.
JesseJamesM88: Use skeletons, have an idea of what you are drawing, map it out, understand mlp: fim anotomy, and never use erasers so you know what to work on next time you draw.
kittykatty105: I did it (says like fluttershy,) yay!
Misswerewolffan: I say to just draw something easy that looks impressive (like an apple really nicely shaded) and show your friends. Ask if they would like to request a drawing. If they want one, give them one, but try something harder. The more requests you do the better you'll get :) it works
TheDarknessInside44: There are loads of ways to practise ^.^ To start off why don't you draw something you really like? Its more fun and enjoyable that way :) Use pictures for references and find ways to draw them that are easy for you, breaking them down into shapes, looking at the different lines and curves etc. Just keep referring to references every time you get stuck or don't remember how something looks, and eventually you'll be able to draw what ever you want without using a reference :D Good luck :3
Twilight Sparkle: What program do you use to do these drawings on?
Dawngaward0110: Are you drawing on a computer? If, make sure to use a good pen tablet and some advanced painting program like Gimp, photoshop, or anything with good pressure support (paint.net doesn't have this!)
Rainbow Insanity Dash: I skipped forward to 0:20... DUCKIEEEE! lol
CarterArts: What program do you draw on? And do you use a Tablet?

Ben Debo: practice makes perfect thats the only thing i can tell ya just everytime u do something wrong try a new way of doing it also draw things upsidedown helps ive gone and left college for fine arts there really is no right way of doing it except your own
mmaaxx129: What paint program do you use?
nicoxsanti19: I can't seem to get the eyes right for my life, can anyone give me so advice?
Purplechu: what on earth is that music in the background?I swear I've heard that before.
Jack Miller: What program are you using to draw this?
KayleeTheKitty: My hand is so steady when I'm calm.=3
SuperMadmadman: @Crazymecrazy12 What I recommend (if you haven't already) is to go buy a drawing tablet from best buy. A good starter tablet will run you about 100 bucks, but it will save you thousands in legal bills when you don't get so frustrated that you kill and eat someone.
MrQwibQwib: HOLY crap is all I have to say to this
girldbzlover: THANK YOU SO MUCH! Dre little fluttershy perfectly!
RaqoushShortcake: Thank you so much! It's the first time I draw a pony so right!
Crazymecrazy12: :( I suck at drawing on my computer... But I'm trying to get better... Trying
piggyers597: aww i wana draw a picture from the luna game to scare my teacher/friends in some way but i cant stare at it for 1 second before getting shocked....-.-
Jeffrey Halton: draw more X)
SourceStrike: :D I can draw a tree now!
Thanks Dragon Art!
SleepyMilkshakes: Hm... well, I know that holding up your drawings backwards to the light (or flipping it horizontally if you're drawing it on the computer) helps you spot any errors or inconsistencies. As far as practice goes (as TheClairCat said) focus on different parts of your subject separately. If you don't, you'll be overwhelmed and won't know where to start. (Ah, I love aspiring artists~ XD) Good luck! :D
TheClairCat: @fanderer I'm not sure if you're already doing this but, I just practiced drawing guidelines for bodies and animals over and over again, then i moved onto focusing on one part of the characters body eyes/mouth/hands (I still kinda suck at drawing hands lol). Once I figured I had everything downpact I started to draw characters. Hope this helps :)
