Lance TheMic: Id hate to have to buy a new converter. It was matched with flexplate to allow me to run the th350. Anyway im hoping i get 350hp. I have roughly the same set up. Ported polished 3 angle valve job heads. Mallory dizzy, and a built rochester carb.(yeah people hate em but hey if built right there bad ass!) You have to remember the formula says with 80%volumetric efficiency i should be usin 600cfm on a 350. So i run the q jet. Its 750cfm but qjets only allow what the engine needs.
Lance TheMic: Hi all! Im starting up my carbed lt1 this week. Stock but 1.6 roller rockers. Shorty headers,th350 and 2100rpm stall. Its been a year since i ordered everything and the parts counter guy said 2100rpm would be fine for a daily driver.If you factor in the rise in duration from rocker ratio of 1.6, my cam specs @.050 is .479/512. Do you all agree 2100 rpms ok?
LT1350hp: The LT1/LT4 engines are magnific power plants, I don't care if the world are crazy by LS engines.
CSXRockford: Water pump is driving off the cam through a shaft through the timing cover.. not belt driven. only belt driven assys where the P/S pump and alt , and A/C if you had it.

fastrobert2005: yes they will run on carb set up, also, the lt1's make more torque down low, over a ls1, due to the small efficiant intake runner, and excelent exhaust flow numbers, nice set-up
