dailydriver55: Did you use the Vic jr ls1 intake?
Petterjunior: Is this a LT1 or LT4 motor ?
LT1350hp: The LT1/LT4 engines are magnific power plants, I don't care if the world
are crazy by LS engines.
semaj savir: i was thinking about doing this swap to my lt1 that im going to put in my
92 camaro. what are the thing i need to do this? do i have to change out
the balancer. and the dist just pop it in on the new intake do i need to
change out the oil put or add somthing. thanks.
kings114: @DMJ400ex This is not a rebuild, it is very close to a stock swap to a
miamibitch305fl: @kings114 so its a bone stock LT1 with a carb intake??
Travetta Andrews: IF YOU ONLY CHANGED OUT WHAT WAS NEEDED FOR THE CARBURETOR THEN Y ARE YOUR
HEADS ALUMINUM...SHOULDNT THEY BE STOCK IRON(BROWNISH COLOR LOUDER EXHAUST
SOUND THAN ALUMINUM:AS N VIDEO)...THAT MOTOR IS NOT STOCK!
OneSlowLT1: Lmao you fine tune it and put headers on it and rate it with no accessories
and say it made as much at the Fuel Injection car from the factory quite
the skewed test if you ask me
JAMESS30288: who said a carb on the lt1-lt4 would not work i have done it myself just
not to a lt4 but a corvette 300 hp lt1 and it went into an 85 monte ss post
a video soon! what carb did you use?
Lance TheMic: Id hate to have to buy a new converter. It was matched with flexplate to
allow me to run the th350. Anyway im hoping i get 350hp. I have roughly the
same set up. Ported polished 3 angle valve job heads. Mallory dizzy, and a
built rochester carb.(yeah people hate em but hey if built right there bad
ass!) You have to remember the formula says with 80%volumetric efficiency i
should be usin 600cfm on a 350. So i run the q jet. Its 750cfm but qjets
only allow what the engine needs.
leonardo gonzalez: sorry I have a 1997 LT1 engine in my 91 camaro, I want to carburetor, that
test you did that changed to give those numbers so great thanks.
email@example.com facebook: leonardo reyna
kings114: @miamibitch305fl Stock GM cam. I only changed out what was necessary for
the carburetor for the most part.
nick goetsch: i got a carb on my lt1 in my monte carlo its got so much power. is this a
stock motor with a carb?
CSXRockford: Water pump is driving off the cam through a shaft through the timing
cover.. not belt driven. only belt driven assys where the P/S pump and alt
, and A/C if you had it.
twiztid6977420: The stock heads are aluminum and the water pump is on there its gear driven
not belt driven
baddogcamaro94: what kind of distributor did you use? will the factory cam work with an HEI?
vigoshaw: What brand carb did you use? Whats the CFM?
c jimenez: what carb did you ues?
HRVAT1975: how much of an improvement did u get over F-INJ- ? Hp/TQ
DMJ400ex: yes they do run !! i have a 1995 pontiac trans am that i pulled the motor
out of and rebuilt the whole thing and switched it over to a carb! 4.030
bore stock stroke forged summit crank KB forged flat tops total seal
gapless tops rings stock heads not much room to port on the stock aluminum
heads but i put racing valves and springs in it 306 duration cam 1.5
rockers comp push rods i would like to know more about your alls
application here was it just a manifold and carb swap or was it built>?
MrStevieD: I am starting with a LT1 Long block.. out of a Highway Patrol Camaro 1993.
I have put the intake highrise on it the omni spark cover and I have
learned tricks to do with it.. I will answer anyones questions if you have
any.. I will send pics till I get it done.. I put roller rockers on it
too.I am putting it in a 1960 chevy stepside shortbed with a 1965 front
clip.. firstname.lastname@example.org also I painted it 1965 chevy orange too.Not
sure how much hp I will have but it has a 330 hp crank
fastrobert2005: yes they will run on carb set up, also, the lt1's make more torque down
low, over a ls1, due to the small efficiant intake runner, and excelent
exhaust flow numbers, nice set-up
Lance TheMic: Hi all! Im starting up my carbed lt1 this week. Stock but 1.6 roller
rockers. Shorty headers,th350 and 2100rpm stall. Its been a year since i
ordered everything and the parts counter guy said 2100rpm would be fine for
a daily driver. If you factor in the rise in duration from rocker ratio of
1.6, my cam specs @.050 is .479/512. Do you all agree 2100 rpms ok?
Tylers Photo Video: I had a carbed LT1 for years in my s10 just took it out last week. Made
320whp on 100 shot n2o 415whp.
Leroy Hogwash: Yea it is so not right.
miamibitch305fl: whats the cam?
CSXRockford: Lose the freaking music...
CSXRockford: And for the record the B body iron LT1 heads low more than the Aluminum
Honda Rincon: I guess what everyone trying to say, how did you make the swap worked from
fuel injection to carb. and how were you able to move the distributor from
the front to the back and what all was done to make that work. what type of
intake you have? I guess what we all want to know, what step by step you
took to pull this off when others say you cant run a carb on an LTI. I have
an LTI and trust me, when I say I have just a block, I have just an empty
block, but want to make it into a carb as well.
