How To Paint Plastic Interior Car Parts With Vinyl Dye : Made Easy

Did this video help you?

Charles Nichols: Just watching this video I feel really inspired, not just to redo my interior but to take on bigger tasks.

David Charles: Can I use this on my bumper

Ty Hobbs: The plastic and vinyl paint has an adhesion promoter built in.

Matthew Evans: sorry to comment on anĀ old vid, but does anyone know what the second cleaner was? mineral spirits? or does it have to be a specialty cleaner from an autobody paint supply store?

Joe Essid: You just saved me a lot of time. I've had such a hard time prepping old panels for a proper paint job. TSP it is!

Quakeboy02: Cracked? Broken? No problem. What you didn't mention is that today's dashes don't crack, the plasticizer debonds and they become sticky.

Sirena: I just did this. My parts look like new.

Wipsplash: SEM products are the best way to go. Color coat has never failed me on anything even 5 years later on seats of a daily driver.

john argue: I painted my interior trim looks like crap. Duplicolor clear sprayed globs not glossy when dry. I'll have to wet sand it and buff. Maybe itll look better.

rainy frost: dude I found a better way to do the plastic. cheaper too, to clean all the crap off use rubbing alcohol then use testers model spay paint. since it is made for plastic it does a better job, and cheaper too.

E34 Guy: Would this work on exterior trim? Thank you

Christopher Gvozd: I did my plastic your way and it came out perfect! Thanks

Dave Smith: There are tons of videos on refurbishing plastic and vinyl panels but the new replacement dash pads are urethane and your told not to use the normal vinyl dyes but use a urethane primer and an acrylic lacquer, only thing is where do you get the acrylic lacquer in the correct colors?

vondenballs: You're great. Thanks.

Kamikaze Yamamoto: I was watching this show one time at my friend's house and his wife (who is extremely hot) said:
"Wow! That guy's hair is so freaked up!"
I said:
"We watch the show about cars not about hair dumbass."
My friend said:
"Thanks Bro. I was going to just tell her to shut the freak up and go make us some sandwiches."
I said:
"No problem, Bro, glad to do it."
I then told her we were hungry and she should go make us sandwiches and she went in the kitchen and made us sandwiches, brought us beer and later made us a pie.
This is how life is supposed to be.
When cloning humans becomes possible, my friend said I could take his wife down to the lab and take her DNA so we can make a copy of her.

John Adams: Great video. Far better than Duplicolor, use SEM paint for either plastic or vinyl.

Grunge: HOLY CRAP THANK YOU

Hot Cheetos: did he use the same vinyl and fabric duplicolor paint on the plastic parts (non vinyl)?

Josh Stovall: Why not just use a HEAT GUN?

Me_Gonzo__ The 2nd: Great video!
