trentcreek: @AdmiralGST There is a book and DVD that Paladin Press sells that explains
all that. Most parts are home made and the barrel is a surplus Browning.
Price on the barrel runs from about $125 to 300, depending on condition. An
old man made a video on how to make it (in his home shop), but then
everyone was complaining they could see well enough, not parts listings,
measurements, etc, so he came out with a very good book that follows the
Garras Porgratix: Trojan, you don't have to go through any "red tape" to build your own
firearm...so long as you don't make it a business to sell them. Otherwise
the law permits you to build as many (non-automatic) as you like.
VideoGamePlayer12: wtf lmao so random it swiches over to fishing lolz luv it
mout12: So basically, you didn't make it. You just cut the wood...
kamatex: Nice, I'm a fitter and turner as well as an Army qualified armourer. I've
been thinking of building a 12.7x100mm myself. You have inspired me to do
holdfast79: The bullet is half an inch in diameter...it doesn't need to expand to be
lethal. While an expanding bullet would surely be more effective, I'm
pretty sure one hit from a FMJ round would sufficiently kill just about
su35supaflanka: Hey you got a license for that beast?
dkucharek: You might want to check out .510 DTC, which is balistically similar to the
.50 BMG, and sveral companies chamber their .50 BMG rifles for .510 as an
alternative for California customers and others that can't legally own .50
BMG rifles. To the vid creator: awesome job, wish I had the skills to build
my own firearms.
DustyGamma: Woah nicely made! But tell me something, have you been able to get an
overpressure round to proof test it? I'm not sure of the logistics of it so
you'd have to consult others with knowledge in the field but it might be a
good idea to do so.
Mathteckzikdanse: is this supose to look like a Dream cuz Its wierd, the sound. and uhm the
camera falls and your in paradise fishin then back to war ! :P
Harry Bryant: Most people completely waste their spare time on failed projects and the
projects they do complete is totally useless. Well you made 50 caliber
rifle, so I have no right to talk crap about how you spend your weekends.
Nice rifle. Whats the legal requirements that comes along with building a
rifle? I'm sure you had to go through some red tape to get that done.
jrcfoxtrot13: you know you can buy 50.cal. barrets at gander mountain i cant spell but
you video a wast of time and making the guns a wast of time and you know
Mcdeathbruger: thats cool it didn't blow up in your faces I'd like to mod a 303 British
rifle. Make it a hand cannon of shorts, the rounds are almost the same as a
30-6. Its kind of dumb to want a bolt action hand gun but I think it would
look cool as hell!
GeekBoy03: It may be, depending on what happens this month. The US Supreme is in
session now and this month will make the decision on whether 2nd Amendment
is a individual right. Oral arguments indicate they to agree it is, however
if they decide otherwise, I think it is time to take the advice of Thomas
Jefferson when he said, "The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to
time with the blood of patriots and tyrants."
gogreen07f1000: like oakly radars like i have
djsnowman06: BMG stands for big motherfreaking gun lol
Frozen4pe: woah, since the sync is so off and the video is so laggy u can actually see
the chockwaves when the lag goes away for a split second.. amazing
charlie brown: are you home made 50 bmg rifles for sale if thay are how much
hilers72652: lol i thought this was going to be like a 2 hour video, and what's with the
Lachlan R: wow that is cool
a11natura1: NICE!! very cool, man.
jordan245mccullough: is it legal
NeroEA: Man...I love .50....
goobersnatch101: how much did this project cost?
Michael Deslongchamps: OK...Didn't Blow up...nice!
ndp888: WTF AT 1:51
jaraff420: i got a k98. is that Wat trigger u used for. when i bought it came with a
new stainless steel bolt. the thing is just mint
supercomet32: freakoff just because its homemade doesnt mean he didnt have the technology
or ability afterall you were homemade and we still let you out to play
4n1k8r: SPRAWL....! Why wasn't JAck Black holding out a pack of cigarattes out when
ya were test firing this beast?
somebodyslapmehard: i think you should start a business building them and selling em. you could
pull one hell of a profit offa that. moreover could i get you to build me
uberchile: that aint no BMG thats a BFG!
891albert: the only thing about home-made .50 rifles is that the recoil is too much.
the Barrett M82A1 has an advanced spring system which allows it to reduce
the recoil by alot.
schimor: I like when someone says "Alright, it didn't blow-up." lmao =o)
zidane444: wow i have 50 bmg seak.
trentcreek: And the legal requirements are "A well regulated Militia, being necessary
to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear
Arms, shall not be infringed."
mustangkraft505: 50 cal big muthafreakin gun lol
80TRIUMPH08: homemade+rifle=me watching :)
Ethan Hardy: for all the firearm n00bs out there class III weapons consist of automatics
antifascist1: haha! Nice gun! Careful with that!
Jonathan baptist: dude teach me nice work five stars
ww3sabiture: nice gun love the end on the fishing part lol makeing guns is no jokeing
matter a 30.06 as about 52,000psi so dont skimp on parts make it by a
factor of 3 (3 times sronger then it needs to be) i have made a few guns
but never shot them i just build them take some pics and take it apart the
only gun i did not take apart is my first gun its simple and it works (only
fired primers with it) there fun but wach out there bombs
Konaboy7: Awesome. Wish I could make my own guns...they'd explode in my face ahaha
Have you tried making a muzzle break for this? One of my buddies tried
shooting a Barret big .50 without its muzzle break an had a nice purple
shoulder for a month.
stopglobalswarming: I imagine you can hunt with it! I'm sure it would be like putting a shotgun
slug with double velocity into the game animal at whatever range you want.
JazzyJim90: nice one, your very talented. good video
Daveeee69: haha the best part is when hes realin something in
stopglobalswarming: 5/5 for your machine work, but it would be cool video if you had a closeup
of the gun in good light, and didn't have the wierd, loud static garble at
the end. You should use hearing protection, esp under that metal canopy.
