JohnBoehners: I have a 500 gallon plastic (it is roto molded plastic - whatever that is) cistern that is full of water. There is a 2" threaded outlet at the bottom of the tank with a plastic pipe screwed into those threads and a plastic on/off valve screwed onto the pipe.
The pipe, at the tank, has a small leak. I put silicone on that leak many years ago, but tonight I dislodged the silicone and it is dripping...
Will this product Flex Seal work for my situation? I would like to remove the silicone and spray this stuff around the pipe coming out of the tank. Will this product work if my pipe/tank is a little wet?

MediaWatchDawg: Just used a gallon of Flex Seal (available on Amazon) to seal a 3'x3' exterior area, ONE coat. I'm hoping it works, but right now I do KNOW its coverage area isn't that great. There's almost nothing left in the can.
The more you know.
ijnek 17: I'm gonna try anyway to see if you can still enter me in for some free samples of this product ive heard so much about and with other products I have been let down and now I am building a cement pond and I need a sealant worthy to its name and performance can you help me out? in return I will be a life long consumer of this product for all my sealing needs thank you!
james baker: great job I have used flex seal on a window sill that was leaking
penny Penny: I was wondering if Flex Steal could be use in plumbing when you can not get the connection to not leak or if something breaks. will it fill in?
Dave Harrington: NP1 is a polyurethane calk and works excellent for things like that. There are other polyurethane calks also.
Ed Parker: I would like to try the flex seal on my Mobil mime roof
test account: I like the looks of this stuff. I'm a little nervous about the food safety thing and am wondering if the product seeped past the inner plastic piece so that it would be in contact with water. I'd like to use epdm rubber as a gasket but I can't find smaller pieces. I don't exactly want to buy a 10 x 20 sheet of the stuff! 😃 Thanks for your great videos!
