Did this video help you?

Patryk Kościk: Thanks man, you saved mine dad Defy :D

Szabolcs Tomena: This installation is also good for the DEFY+ ??? :)

Marwin Beeck: Thank you very mouch! <3

Van Tuka: you are a life saver man, gave a like (y) SOMEONE give that man a BELLS

Nicolas De Leon: thanks !!!!!! you are the best !

Andrea Carpio: where can i download that apk file at the bottom part that is the only missing to continue my installation :(

Johnathan Li: Will this work on the CyanogenMod 11 for Motorola A953? Cause the mod is based on the one used for the Motorola Defy.

Marko Takovac: Works perfect for me! Thanks a lot!

Brown G.: Thank you dude! You saved my money, cuz, because of this i didnt buy a new phone. :)

edward bibriesca: I explained this wrong, look right now I currently have my phone rooted and the cm7 file and the google apps and the 2ndint app, they are not installed but I have them ready to instal .... I never used any motorola drivers or RSD lite. When I boot up my phone, it shows a the normal motorola logo, not the red one. When I rooted my phone I used the ginger break app to root it. My question is, can i instal cm7 without those motorola usb drivers or the RSD lite? I already told you what I have on my phone right now so yeah you can tell me if I can do it or not.

edward bibriesca: Never mind, I watched it Aha, it looks like I'm not updating to cm 7 sadly. Installing the usb diver is something I can't do since my computer I can early use and installing the usb drive involves bricking your phone and it's all too much. If there is a way to instal cm7 other than using the usb drive, then send me a message because I'm not installing the usb driver.

Orlaine Pereira: Thanks for the video. But I am stuck after I install sndit. I am getting an error saying "is superuser installed"? And I am on a defy+ v2.3.6. any help?

DownThyPark: Thank you so much!

edward bibriesca: Ok thanks but in what video do you instal it in? I'm talking about the usb driver. What part? Just give me that information and I think that's all I have to ask you.

stas veverita: metod working

Abdul M: Great tutorial. Helped me unbrick my defy.

Orlaine Pereira: Thanks for the video. But I am stuck after I install sndit. I am getting an error saying "is superuser installed"? And I am on a defy+ v2.3.6. any help?

Magesh j: hi.. ur tutorial is very good...but boot menu is completely different.. mine is defy mb525 android v2.2.. how to get the boot menu as urs??

Sourén Hamparsumian: Thank U very much for the video. I did everything is described in it & the result was fantastic except one thing & I hope I can find a solution for it. the problem is that I get an error message says UNFORTUNATELY ANDROID KEYBOARD (AOSP) HAS STOPPED. & I don't know how to fix it I rebooted the phone, but in vain. Thanx again.

Pranav Chavan: Thanks Brother !

stas veverita: thanks man

edward bibriesca: Thanks for replying but I had other questions. Do I need to instal RSD lite or something like that because iv heard from other sources I need that. And if I don't need RSD lite, do I just follow all your steps and it will work? And I'm from America so do I need to switch my baseband? Thanks for the feed back, I'm looking to do this soon but I needed to ask you some questions.

Don Corleone: I don't get the blue light =/. What could be happening? I cant get the 'recovery menu. I'm using motorola mb525, thank you

MyxyBeast: köszönöm szépen ezt a videósorozatot. :D nagyon sokat segitett, és tökéletesen megy minden :)

PK Duong: Can i apply this for Defy having GREEN lens?

edward bibriesca: Hey thanks for the video but I'm kinda scared to instal cm7.1 on my phone, I'm sure installing cm7.1 and cm10 are the same thing but I had a couple questions, could you answer them? 1. The lens on my phone are red I think because I check the lens and they were red and my phone is a 525MB. Will it work on that type of defy? 2. Does the wifi work and does the google apps work on cm7.1? 3. When I rooted my phone, I used ginger break app from the xda website and the first boot it stayed frozen on the start up menu but when I took out the battery and rebooted it worked fine, if I do this, will it freeze? 4. Does Facebook work on cm7.1 or cm10? I use wifi only and I want to be able to use my wifi and my Facebook. Please answer these questions, I want to instal cm7.1 but I'm scared it's not going to work, even though I have everything set up right now, I just need to instal the boot menu and instal cm7.1

Yoan Pacquelet: I've finished to install CM10 on my Defy, for the moment it runs smoothly, main functions are ok (phone, email, sms, web, market) Thanks for your video

alexhuru156: Does work on defy mini

Vinicius Gimenes: does work with xt560 (Defy Pro)?

Daniel Artigas Perez: does work defy +??

abhishek bhatia: I did everything , 2nd int was installed ,cwm was installed successfully but after doing all the steps in the video When I try to install rom from zip card it says installation aborted :( Please help! nice video btw.

Erik Boraas: i installed all of the things correctly, but when i try to select my area in my advanced settings, it wont let me choose where i live in canada and i am on telus

alexhuru156: It works on motorola defy mini

gundamwing789: Lets say right now I have cm7 nightly on my defy, if i wanted to flash to cm10, would I have to flash cm9 or can i go straight from cm7 to cm10? also would i need to flash a different kernel? I believe i am still on the froyo kernel.

Igor G: thanks man,it helped!;)

martinlross: You sir are a genius. I followed every step EXACTLY as you recorded it and it worked. Thanks for giving the old moto a new lease of life!

locslikes: just use one from another country that uses the same network bandwidth and it should work fine.

rayaroun: help me out here man!! please :)

locslikes: i only take the sim out if i'm starting from scratch. ie. flash sbf and the root then upgrade but when i go from JB rom to another JB rom i just leave my sim in.

Emil7773: I had the same problem with that CM 10.1 and had to flash it with CM 10 Also, i try with 10.2 and my camera didn`t work

weekendcss: Ive tried. but I got an error when i tried to install 10.1 -> installation aborted when tried to install:) what did i miss?:/ mb that cwm is too old?:/ or what? do u know anythin about that how to solve it? because i got this message 2 times in a row ..

DjNiko17: Help please, i followed the tutorial and now my phone gets a popup saying the keyboard stopped working. Also, i cant connect it to my pc because it doesnt ask me if i want to use usb mass storage device or phone portal or anything

omfgsqueak: Any bugs on defy with cm10? camera features work well?

Cristian Filip: setup wizard stops please help

gundamwing789: Ok, great thanks! i have a couple more questions i just want to make sure of. Is the build you are using now stable and fast (good for a daily driver)? Also, i saw that you didnt need to flash a different kernel before flashing the 2ndboot cm10? So im assuming i dont need to either? Btw, im coming from epsylon3's cm 7.2. So technically i could just bring all the zips to my sd card, clear the device (factory reset, cache, dalvik cache) and flash the 2ndboot then gapps like you did?

Karadjordje Trkulja: 4 bottom buttons on this device are dead! I have tried DroidExplorer to control some things from PC and I see the device's screen but clicking is not working. Even I can't reboot to recovery cuz this phone is stucked to android logo. (the recovery logo) Nothing to do... but the phone is working correctly. I need to upgrade to new jelly bean that I find on XDA website that includes "inscreen" 3 basic buttons... just to save this poor device with that way... Any help please?

Stratos Vatos: well.. i flashed the sbf again, did all the steps from your videos.. and....YES! IT WORKED!! now i am running jb very very smooth. thanks for everything!!

Ned Cabaniss: The installation worked like a charm. I used Android 4.0.4 (ICS). Unfortunately, when I went into broadband selection, America only offered a t-mobile option. I am using an ATT sim card (850 and 1900). Is there a fix for this? Thanks much.

Saketh Reddy Velapati: I installed 4.1.2 and gapps for 4.1.2 on my defy+ The phone is stuck at cyanogenmod boot logo forever. Did i brick it ?

Skin Care/lightening/Acne discussions: Got it. I used an older version. 2.
