MrNormalkid570: To Phil C if you are going to purchase one of these genys you have to put
some type of chain around them to keep them from walking away if you no
what I mean
Phil C: We had a power outage a few weeks ago starting at 0415. My sump alarm went
off which woke me so I ran my 6500 watt generator to power the sump pump
and fridge, freezer, coffee pot, etc. This event got me to thinking about
long term use of a generator for our basic needs such as the fridge and
freezer. Running my big generator to power these appliances for long
periods of time consumes too much fuel and I would run out very quickly. On
top of that my 6500 watt generator is LOUD! Several of my neighbors
noticed it due to the noise and came to look (it sits in my garage). This
was a warning to me that in a SHTF situation I need to be stealthy. So I
started looking for a small inverter generator that could power the
appliances on minimal fuel quietly. After a lot of watching videos on the
Yamaha, Honda, Generac, etc...inverter generators I found the Smarter Tools
unit with the Yamaha engine. All in all I think this is the best deal on
the market and it has a 3 year warranty. Thanks for the video!
charles s: Does it run your trailer pretty well?
charles s: How is it holding up? By the way, nice FJ! Own one myself.
JDS: I hope you had water or something in the microwave. You should never turn
on a microwave without something inside it.
Huan Nguyen: No It doesnt have any parallel capability.
Middletown Smith: Nice video, thanks for sharing. HD wants over $700.
1959hwnelcamino: Thanks for the video. I also have a Honda eu2000. Saw this generator at my
local Costco and wanted to compare it side by side with the Honda eu2000.
Hope to see your video soon....
Huan Nguyen: I also bought one at Costco for $599. Looks like its pretty well made.It
started my wimdow mounted 4700sfm swamp cooler that my Coleman Pulse 1850
Bobo Jenkins: i have the yamaha ef2000is its alot like that one but its all yamaha parts
but its the same thing thanks for the video
Scott Miller: Dude, I was looking for reviews on this generator and look who posted a
video. Right on. Seems pretty quite. Now you just need a side-by-side
comparison with a Honda. Thanks for the review.
ridgerunner0001: Thanks for the video. Your comment when removing the side panel is exactly
why I am watching your video. It is hard to remove and I wanted to make
sure that I wasn't missing something that would end up causing me to break
my generator before I even started it. Thank you very much!
dingalsbe: I plan on running it right next to a Honda 2000 tomorrow morning. I will
post up about it on Monday.
dingalsbe: I did a comparison, check my Youtube channel.
Michael Blank: Nice demo. I have a 8yo yamaha 2800i which runs great. The eco mode however
has issues so I dont use that to much. Mostly the unit is for backup power.
I like this smaller 2000i and it says its Sinewave so thats great for Data
and modern day frigs.
Cris Longacre: ditto comment from ridgerunner0001. Thanks for taking the time to do the
JDubGriff: Thank you for this clear video! I just bought one from Home Depot. $689
shipped with tax.
