MrsBlackDiamond101: Gorgeous color and different styles
Jake elwafi: She had pretty nice hair.
That's what happens when you put too much into the make up.
Bless michelle for her saying: "Less is more"
J Huish: his sisiors look like they're going to cut off his finger in the beginning!
La Beba: I wanna learn how to do style 2
Mslector: I wish I could go to London and have u cut my hair ! LOL u r amazing
RNYApril Shumard: Hair yes, makeup no!
Mr Don Photos: I would love to photograph your work for sophisticates hair magazine
OutsideDontGo: Slap dem scissors!
Mr Don Photos: Nice job
Stuart Phillips: Hi Boca, on Facebook I checked my private messages and on the wall and your
2 photos never got uploaded. If you could try again reminding me that it's
Boca from YouTube!
Stuart Phillips: Hi Annette, When it comes to age and hairstyles, I feel that as long as the
cut suits the face then age is irelavant. After looking at your photo with
your hair up and completely off your face, I feel that short hair would
suit you. This is because you have an oval shape face, which is a good
shape for short cuts. However, I would make some adjustments to fit
perfectly with your face. These are - I would keep a very similar shape to
Aleks (the model in the pixie video) (continued)
Stuart Phillips: Thanks and your correct, many women can still look feminine and sexy with
EqualityIsAwesome: This looks AWESOME, everyone keeps exaggerating that I wanna cut my hair
short, short hair isn't just for guys, plus this looks oh so cute !!!!
steph m: love your work such an insipration! want more videos with hair extensions
its quite difficult to put in after teasing
Sarah Bertke: A beautiful cut. What would you suggest for pixies gone wrong? I had mine
done at the salon, for some reason my hair stands up on the sides as if
they did straight chops and cut unevenly. I've tried balms etc. Nothing
wants to keep my hair down.
Stuart Phillips: Hi Candace, your hairdresser will tell you as it's very difficult for you
to know this! Maybe if you could show them the video at the salon, as most
salons will have a computer! Stuart
Jacqueline S: I have sent a profile pic of myself to your fb page....via
message.....thanks so much! Jackie.
Stuart Phillips: As you suggested for the colour you wanted to go black like my Jessie J
video, I wouldn't go that colour as I feel it would look too hard on your
face. I would suggest either, to go an all over chocolate brown tint, with
pieces of honey gold highlights, or to keep the colour you have now but add
some pastel fine highlights (almost silvery) Both suggestions of colour
will work with both haircuts! Let me know which haircut you eventually go
with? I hope that helped! Stuart
MetalBanshee89: I just love this video, it's short but still very informative. But i wish
you would have uploaded it yesterday, because i needed this today. It still
turned out fine, but now i know better for next time ;-) Thanks for
teaching so much and for free *kisses and hugs to you and your amazing team*
Stuart Phillips: Thank you Aleah :)
Lizzy Lewis: My favourite style is the last one with straight hair, although like the
other 2 as well. I have a similar cut and what caught my eye was Stuart
showing 3 ways of styling a pixie cut - brilliant!!
Lee Ka Cheong: hello stuart ,is that okay for washing hair with shampoo once a day?a i got
a dry hair
Elise K: You're Amazing Stuart!!!
Annette Anderson: I am considering a pixie ...and am wondering if u think I can pull it off
with my face shape. I want to look fashionable yet not look like I'm trying
too hard. I am 60. Thanks!!!
robertafaccina: I want to have you in Italy ! : ( You are all really great!
Stuart Phillips: Hi Mary, if you upload a photo to my professional facebook page, I can help
you. your find the link at the top of my channel page. Unfortunately the
photos you uploaded to twitter are not there anymore!! Stuart
jeannierlewis26: Model Aleks looked amazing at the end! Very cool video!
Boca Nejra: Very nice hairstyle even for men... I'm starting to get receding hairline
on both sides of the forehead and getting a little bit worried about it as
it doesn't look good with many hairstyles, which haircut would you
recommend in this case for a young fashionable men? I was thinking in a
pixie style with short sides and back with long side bangs. Cheers.
Terry Lazner: Hey Stuart, really pleased that you showed this pixie cut, it's great that
you listen to your fans!! Great video, thank you!
angel recendez: Love all your videos but as I have short hair, this is the best one on your
channel! Have watched it sooooo may times already, please keep them coming
Stuart Phillips: Hi Nicole, If you could first upload a pic to my professional facebook page
I will be able to tell you if this cut or a similar one will suit you. Make
sure you leave your YouTube name and the name of the video that you left
the comment under! The link is at the top of my channel's page! Stuart
Stuart Phillips: Hi Desiree, From the two photos that you sent me I prefer the shorter hair,
although I would make a few changes to the cut. It looks good cut around
your ears but I think that you need to keep a little more weight above your
ears, about ½ cm more. As your hair is fine and straight, to give it more
texture and thickness I would cut into the hair, it is also very important
to cut into the hair at the top because at the moment it looks quite flat.
Your fringe looks good as it is! (continued)
tracyrsimmons: Love the way you film your videos, very classy!
Jacqueline S: Hi Stuart...have resent my pic to your fb acct....hope u receive it this
time. Sent via Peter Shankar....anyway...the woman on the left...that's me!
Jacqueline S: I absolutely love your cuts! I'm getting a short do soon but am afraid it
will not suit me. Would love for you to cut my hair but I'm in Malaysia!!
Do you give online advice?!
Lixendee: Hi, it's me Desiree from facebook again, I forgot to tell about my hair's
structure. I got thin hair and straight and limp. About hair colour, what
the best colour that I can get? Thank you...
Stuart Phillips: your very welcome Roberta. I will look forward to that! Your English is
very good by the way!! Stuart :)
Stuart Phillips: I would go for a softer version and take it from there. Both versions will
still give you a younger look though!! Hope that helped! Stuart
Kamari McWilliams: I absolutely love it!
Stuart Phillips: Hi Mary, your face shape is slightly oval but with a tiny amount of heart,
that's why you find it difficult to tell what your face shape is. It's
quite normal to have a combination face shape. I do not think it would suit
you to go very short but you could still cut off a good 5-6 inches. I would
also layer your hair but would cut into the hair rather than blunt cut.
This way it will add texture and movement (continued)
Stuart Phillips: Hi Leticia, no problem, it suits an oval shape as long as the face isn't to
long, if so will need to leave the length slightly longer, otherwise the
face may appear even longer! Suits round but would possibly leave more
corners on, giving it a slightly square finish, which will help compensate
for the round face! Suits square but would leave slightly longer otherwise
the jawline may look too heavy! Stuart
tsim4334: This is the first short cut I've seen on your channel Stuart... PLEASE DO
robertafaccina: thanks, you've been very kind!I plan to spend a weekend in London this
summer .. maybe call for an appointment with you! thanks again for your
kindness and sorry for my bad English!
Lixendee: Hi Stuart, My name is Desiree from facebook, I saw your YouTube make over
video. I like shortcut hair. But because I never got any fit style for me,
I tried to cut my hair by myself. But if you don't mind, can I have suggest
from you about the best haircut that I can get? (I think my face more manly
after I cut my hair too short recently) On all my pics, my hair was cutted
by myself, always end up short and mostly pixie.... Thank you for your time
reading my msg :)
iofelmyles: Hi Stuart. I want to have a pixie haircut too. would it look good n me?
Stuart Phillips: Hi Roberta, after seeing your photo I have a great idea for you! You have a
good shape face and bone structure, with high cheek bones, basically you
have one of the best face shapes for a hairdresser to work with! I feel
that the cut you have now is not the best for your face. As you have an
oval shape face I feel that the long hair is making your face look too
small with very little shape. There are 2 shapes that I recommend! First
would be a bob, around jaw length, this would (continued)
Stuart Phillips: To style your hair I would use a small amount of a mat wax and massage it
into your roots. This will give your hair more fullness, make it appear
thicker and give it a lot more texture. Unfortunately I can’t give you
advice on your colour from a photo. This is because dark hair needs to be
looked at very carefully by the colourist, as it can contain a lot of red
Stuart Phillips: If you feel that you would like to go shorter than my recommendation, I
would advise that you try this length as your first haircut and see how you
get on with it. I feel that much shorter than that will not suit you,
although your have a few cm leway either way, so slightly shorter or longer
than my recommendation will also work but I would still go for the same
shape. I hope that helped! Stuart
Stuart Phillips: Hi Jackie, thanks for uploading your photo on Facebook, I can now help you
with the hair consultation! I feel that the sides of your hair hang and
looks quite flat. A shorter cut would definitely give your hair more body
and shape, however because you have an oval shape face with length you're
limited to how short. If it's cut too short then it may make your face
appear too long, also I would want to make sure that the cut is soft and
feminine for your face. (continued)
Stuart Phillips: Hi Boca, a pixie type cut could look good but I would first need to see a
clear photo of you from the front. If you upload one to my professional
Facebook page. Your find the link at the top of my channel page! Stuart
