beefyramos: i'm trying to find out if other blades will fit into the saw/file. i saw i
picture that looked like someone had a PVC saw in there. does it take
standard saw blades? if i could put a metal saw and a PVC saw in my kit w/
the file and the wood saw i would be good to go.
bladeking2013: do you loose much quality from the saw and the file because of their
ability to change out, compared to another leatherman multi tool where you
cant do that
Alex Theo: i love how the sounds cuts out! BEST VID IVE SEEN
Robbie Wayne: Review started well then lost the sound. I can't help wondering why where
are so many other multi-tools in the background ranging from SOGs, IDL,
Swiss Army, LM Micra and some cheap ones. Confiscated tools by TSA?
railrunner18: @beefyramos you can fit standard jig saw/sabre saw blades in it. mine was a
bit tight when i first got it, as far as other blades, but just needs a bit
aly1170: awsome vid man i have a review watch it its new so please say what you feel
zippy5081: this was i realy good review of the surge great close ups of the tool and
that showed me the Quality of the tools steel and manufacturing of the tool
just wish you put a ruler to size up the main blade i presume the the main
blade is apox 9,cm in length. i think the surge is for me. i have had a
micra on my key chain for 15.years the leathermans sure do last. thankyou
for the excellent video.
Steve Hearfield: Terrible review.
RatifiedCow: @xVANADIOx They're both exelent...although I kinda like the Swiss
Tool...Great warranties too!
steve novac: This tool rules. People cry about the weight of 11.7oz. of the tool,
13.8oz. in the sheath with the file attachment. Are you serious? This bad
boy does about everything, you won't be crying about the weight when your
in a jam. The Surge is a serious multi-tool, the weight is a non issue for
SinOfYesterd: @xVANADIOx Surge hands down
UntillTheyHear: yes. but since its only 420hc its easy to reprofile if you wish. i
personally changed mine to a full flat grind
xVANADIOx: HI MAN, IN TERMS OF ONLY STURDINESS, WHICH IS BEST BETWEEN THE VICTORINOX
SWISSTOOL AND THE LEATHERMAN SURGE ?
ARMYCADET97: is the surge chizel ground?
irri tate u: yeah? i suppose you could do a better review? NOT!!!!!
jdmars011: lost audio...Philip Phillips!
zig man: I only need one. Just have to find the right one. I need one for emergency
/ survival purpose only. Probably wont use it.. thinking of Leatherman TTi
kemiim Megahan: Definitely in agreement here. I must have a lot of heavy stuff stuck in my
pockets, so probably helps this not be too noticeable to me
railrunner18: @beefyramos No problem! Btw, forgot to mention...alot of jig saw blades are
longer than the standard leatherman blades, so you cant actually close the
blade into the frame (because they are too long) so you just have to take
the blade out, put it in the case, and replace it with the stock leatherman
beefyramos: @railrunner18 thanks again, lol ... i'm really excited about having all of
those extra capabilities. i have needed to cut just a small piece of copper
pipe, PVC, or wood and had to go look for an hour for one or even have to
leave a job to go get one. .... plus i'm going to be contracting in the
Army next semester so i'm sure i'll find plenty of uses for it.
beefyramos: @railrunner18 thanks!!, thats the info i needed. I'm going to be buying one
Jón Stefán Friðriksson Friðriksson: Holy crap you have many knives! :D And REALLY good leatherman there! :)
kemiim Megahan: The first thing I used my Surge for was to see how well it could fix a pair
of glasses with the tiny screw driver. It worked. That, and option for
Pointhunter75: Only buy american! Foreign stuff AND people are useless! ;)
