Jaron Wheeler: You can buy it unlocked or you can buy it directly from Google. The Nexus
device they have for sale now is the LG Nexus 4. It's a pretty good device.
youkids123: Two questions. First do you get HSPA+ "4g" with straight talk? And second,
do you get good AT&T 3g speeds, like the same speeds as a contract AT&T
jeff30458: have you ever gotten cut off or tethered?
MrAnderson528: It uses HSPA+. From my understanding, it is faster than 3g, but slower than
VizqualTv: Thanks Sara.
SaraST8: Hi, this is Sara of Straight Talk Wireless. You have to use the appropriate
SIM card which is the Bring Your Own Phone SIM card. This SIM card could be
purchased at selected Walmart stores and on our website. For more
information, please email us at TF.CorpResolutionTeam@tracfone.com. Thank
JForney: Boy that's a relief....thanks man! Keep it up!
jeff30458: lol not tethering I mean throttled.
HDshawti: How did you get your Nexus unlocked?
hal9k: I have problems with MMS messages. They wont send or recieve. But regular
messages do. Do you have this issue?
Oscar Urias: A review without speed Test...
JSantana319: Just got Straight Talk with the Galaxy Nexus and so far so good. The calls
sound great, the internet is fast, and text messages work without any
issues. This is the perfect deal for anyone looking to save money on a
Matthew Short: wait... so you can use a sim card that's designed for AT&T on this nexus?
What size of card do you use? I might get this t. hen
MrAnderson528: Yes i did. You definitely should!
VizqualTv: Hey Sara i have a question. How long does it take to port numbers from
carrier to carrier?
Brandon Jerz: I cannot get MMS to work for the life of me and 4g/3g drops all the time
with this phone, have any suggestions and have you had any of these problems
MrAnderson528: Easiest thing in the world, especially if you already have a google
dougtechjones (Doug Jones): Great video! I bought the same phone yesterday, I already have the Straight
Talk sim. I was wondering if you had to mess with the APN settings at all?
If you did, could you make another video showing how you do that?
MrAnderson528: I was never on another carrier besides straight talk. I was running ICS
when I first got it. Then when Jelly Bean came out, it allowed me to update
like all the other Galaxy Nexus. I have never had a problem with stuff like
that. It was probably the whole international thing.
MrAnderson528: Yes you can!
jeff30458: you don't do Kies for the galaxy nexus, these updates come directly from
youkids123: Yeah so there's no limit to your data at all? I heard you can only use 100
mb a day? Is that true?
Miguel Menendez: nexus 4 works right? how fast is the internet whats your location, thanks
MrAnderson528: You get HSPA+. That is faster than 3g, but slower than 4g.
MrAnderson528: Definitely straight talk. They have no data caps. If you're constantly
topping 5gb every month, they might tell you to calm down a bit, but they
have never warned me about anything.
JAYBEATS2323: NO DUDE YOU HAVE TO DOWNLOAD SAMSUNG KIES OFF THEIR WEBSITE AND DO A MANUAL
UPLOAD. THIS ALSO APPLIES TO THE GS2 & GS3
JForney: I heard that Straight Talk doesn't do upgrades? I had the GNote on Straight
Talk and never got the ICS update; I had the international version, don't
know if that makes a difference. Did you have your jelly bean update before
you went to Straight Talk?
Dshowtime: How is the service? I'm thinking of whether to switch to h2o or straight
talk but what holds me back is the data limit. I don't get close to 2gb a
month but sometimes I do use more than 100mb in 1 day. What do you
MrAnderson528: Data speeds are pretty great! They are a considerable upgrade from my
previous phone, the LG Optimus Q. To answer your second question, it really
depends on where you live. If At&T has better coverage in your area go with
them and vise versa.
highdefinitiondiva: Thank you, great deal!
Forrest Smith: So if I get an unlocked nexus for st does it get 3G and H+ capabilities,
and if it's international and unlocked do I just get a straight talk sim,
or do I have to also get an Att or T-mobile sim?
Chuck Norris: If i have this on verizon or sprint could i get this on straight talk?
Matthew Short: I'm confused... which version do you have?
jeff30458: If you've got an unlocked unbranded phone then your upgrade is going to
come from the manufacturer like the phone in this video would. Other phones
might get the upgrade directly from the carrier so if you are using an AT&T
phone on straight talk then you would have to sideload the update which
requires a little technical know how.
MrAnderson528: I haven't looked back once.
XxBLee909xX: Nice video. I ordered my galaxy nexus and was thinking about going with
straight talk, but I want to know how are the data speeds? And should I get
a tmobile sim or AT&T sim ?
Dandelion: are you getting that internet problem where you go on FB and then go
another application and the internet cuts off? im getting that on my iphone
and ppl on straight talk
Miguel Menendez: ok thanks sara
jcmjimmie: Straight Talk uses both AT&T and T-Mobile for service. I dont have good
T-Mobile service in my area. Is there a way to make it use AT&T only and
youkids123: Thanks so much.
CaseyAndWhatNot: I have some questions, is it a microsim or is it full sim, also, an you get
4g (hspa+) i have the inspire 4g and it has a full sim
MrAnderson528: HSPA+ with At&t. You are getting your service through the At&t towers. The
speeds are even faster than some that I've seen with some contract phones
out there. I love it.
youkids123: One more thing. Was setting up the phone easy?
MrAnderson528: No it is not true.
babyjokes250: you bought the phone unlocked right? just trying to be sure because im
going to order one for my self
Forrest Smith: Would I be able to get visual voicemail if I bought this unlocked and went
to ST or Net10? or no? just curious
Jebi Mind Tricks: So when I look at the maps on the strait talk site one is for android
phones and one is for non android phones. The android map is tiny compared
to the non android map which has great coverage. So my question is if using
an android on strait talk, can you actually get the real att or tmo
Jacob Boswell: Wait for the new nexus! It will probly come out at the end of this year! :)
Just a tip ;)
kirk7784: Awesome video! Can you use the wifi hotspotting feature on the phone with
straight talk? Nothing crazy just want to use a wifi tablet from time to
MrAnderson528: All you have to do is go to straighttalks website.
