marineman825: @vanhalen5150jhs so the big stripes are 3/4 and little are 1/8 so if i use
these 2 sizes will it come out ok without 1/2 and 1/4 ?
JAMES5150: @kMxLivetheMod if your sanding a body that is already painted and are
prepping it for paint start with 220 and progress up to 400 the spray the
primer. for the clear coat after all clear has cured and dried. start with
320 and progess up to 1500 then use the rubbing compound and buff with the
marineman825: @vanhalen5150jhs where the different size stripes go how you know what size
goes were? and how u exactly get the placement?
guitarmaster8587: WHAT GUITAR R U USEING?

alot of patience not optional. have fun :)
marineman825: what size masking tape?
JAMES5150: i use rustoleum lacquer spray paints. not as far as i know. cleans easly
with lacquer thinner.
kMxLivetheMod: @vanhalen5150jhs and when i use the sandpaper, do i use the 220 first then
320 and so on?
kMxLivetheMod: how long should i let the primer dry
JAMES5150: @marineman825 there are only 1 stripe of each so you probably wont even
Jd Murphy: Was this gloss black u used or matt
marineman825: @vanhalen5150jhs ok thank you and one more queustion is the red black and
white franlenstein hard? do you have to paint this first then the red?
JAMES5150: @akhtab94 Rustoleum lacquer. $4.50 per can Home Depot
kMxLivetheMod: can u make a list of exactly everything you will need for me
atomicfile2: i have a question which electronics were harder to set up for the guitar
this one or the yellow and black one?
JAMES5150: @yngwiestrat2012 i screwed a hook in at the end of the holding stick and
hand it up untill it is dry.
JAMES5150: @marineman825 i use a picture of a guitar that has already been done for
reference. go to meanstreetguitarsdotcom and print a pic of the the guitar
that you want to do in the pic gallery. placement of the 3/4 is pretty
staight forward. the 1/8 stripes are about 95% of the other stripes. there
are only 2 stripes on the black and with franky that are 1/4 the othere is
1/2 located near the upper left of the pick guard.
oGridlocko: DOes the input jack and pickup get hot in a guitar? Isn't the paint
Eliot Ruben: awesome :D
JAMES5150: @TPL215 they are screwed directly to the body.
JAMES5150: @marineman825 it alot more time consuming. you start with just the 3/4 tape
stripes only. i have a video that covers the red white and black franky.
yngwiestrat2012: i see you have the holding stick how did you get it to dry though. like
what did you set it on?
JAMES5150: @marineman825 i used mostly 3/4 and 1/8 but there is a stripe that is 1/2
and another is 1/4 but most are 3/4 and 1/8 any othere questions please ask.
Tim Lyons: yeah but usually you screw it in to the pick guard but you don't use one
for this guitar
Emin Cansız: What type of paint do you use? And is it dangerous for skin?
