Ben Woolley: would you happen to have a solution for wireless drivers as i reinstalled
windows xp home edition but can't get the wireless network to function. Any
lukem9962: really no its not going to happen the cpus are soldered onto the board but
even if you could it woldunt power up the cooling wouldnt handle it nor

mikr0bas: is CF faster than SSD ?
Dario Disco: Hello, my eeepc 901 do not " recognized " the presence of the Toshiba hard
disk connected with the zif connector. Do I have to do something more?
Thanks in advance.
abcxxx99: actually not as simple as what you all tought. only put in the harddisk,,
just like that simple 123? as i know,, the ssd version if need to replace
to harddisk,,need to solder 2 capacitor on the mainboard. why? bcos the
harddisk pull more energy then ssd.
mufasa024: where can i find a hard drive like that that is lets say 60gb.. and if i do
insert this new hard drive it will have the xp hard drive and the new one
is that right?
bliNgJ: ey men, im typpin this on a 901.. its got an amazin sound, gonna like it.
jaan6969: Thankyou JKKMobile for the very imformative video. I do have a question,
though. Can the EEE PC 901 windows XP, SSD of 12 GB be upgraded to SSD 20
GB. And if so where can I get the appropriate SSD. I want to continue with
the SSD, but I do want it alittle faster, and not to much tweaking. Don't
need any explosions. Thanks Again for the cool Info.
xufuchang: nice video...rocks
funnyvideosforlive: Hello jkkmbile. very thanks for the video! i have a little question for
you. is it right that you have to put a 1.8 inch SSD drive in it instead of
a HDD and, why in the other video are you replacing that little green
board? i think it''s the SSD, but why are you putting it out, putting a new
one in, and then another bigger grey one?
Krzysztof Wierzbicki: Dobry filmik! Lapek oczywiście staruje rowniez z kart CF... Zachecam
wszystkich do sprawienia go sobie.
domslr: where can i buy these drives?
atvpolice: Can i like at two 80 Gb hard drives
jkkmobile: @MrAlexandros99 main difference was 1.6ghz atom cpu on 901 vs 900 mhz
celeron on 900
Tez710: Asus Eee is by far the gratest mini laptop/netbook ever created, every
single aspect of it is user upgradable. Alot better than HP's poor attempt
and Advents lame excuses for netbooks. PB are pretty good, but the speakers
are prone to popping and the mainboard just giving up.
LockHoodlum: Is there any way to cage that disk? I would feel pretty uncomfortable
having my disk bounce side to side inside of my Netbook ;) -- And no:
Hotglueing is not an option :D
zomgbbqwth: ok disregard wad i said.
Konve: I think it's so unfair that they removed this option. :(
Ion Mudreac: I have one question On battery, changing to new ssd how much affects
Battery live. Please advise Thx
Henry Sunga: do you have windows pre installed on your hard drive?
ProgressiveSoul: why dose the linux version have a larger SSD then the XP Version when XP Is
a more robust OS?
LEXPIX: Awesome. You have some very useful videos. Thanks for posting.
tetech12: great video BUT DONT THROW THE PLASTIC COVER AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Pawel X: and eee pc 900 have intel GMA900 901 have GMA 950
Markus Davey: @jkkmobile Thank you sir for the quick reply. I'll take this moment to say
that i respect you and your work whole heartedly, i look forward to seeing
more of it, especially in the Netbook field, if only Asus made as many
models yearly like they did in 2008. Any reviews planned for the HTC Desire?
UncleD Assman: Very detailed and easily explained video tutorial!! I'm buying a 901 this
week and my only concern ws lack of storgae so adding a 1.8" will be great.
Excellent help, thanks!!
Henry Sunga: where is the os installed? why did windows doot even if you changed to hdd?
KoolVin: Just had a look on my 901 and unfortunately the ZIF connector is missing.
It's got the pin-out on the PCB for it, but the connector itself hasn't
been installed. Looks like Asus has decided this is no longer required, so
look out for this on newly purchased machines.
zomgbbqwth: at 6.23, how come he discard the changes and still can boot from his new
HDD after he changed it to boot from his HDD? zzzzzzz~ really weird~
matthew pownall: i've got one of these the 12GB SSD version but no charger so I am waiting
for the charger to come from eBay I had a look at mine and I can't add a
hard drive as the connector has not been installed on the mover board :( so
looks like I'm suck with the SSD, great video I hope to be getting mine up
and running soon then I'll make a video on mine
Oliver Curting: He talks like Mr. Bean.. lol xD .. Nice :]'
ProgressiveSoul: I recently read that some 901's don't come with a zif connector. if i were
to buy one now would I get with a zif?
jkkmobile: ye, check my latest video... or jump to my site jkkmobile . com. It's one
of the latests posts
KonnunMerri: A late reply, but: early EeePC 901's had the ZIF connector, in later models
it was removed and you need also to use a ZIF adapter plugged to the Mini
shortsurf9356: even on the linux?
wolfman2431: why cant you have both the stock ssd drive and the other HDD?
mattfreysuxx: newegg, tigerdirect try googling next time before asking a simple question
like that. You've now waited about 22 hours for this answer, when you could
have found out in an instant with google.
D3adUMP: where can i buy more storage to my asus eee pc 900 ?
bloodred13: nice video! It is easy to understand.
DjDavidReggaetonMIX: Thanks for the Help your the best :)
jkkmobile: @MarkusNemesis Thank you for watching! not planning Desire review right
now.. I'm more qwerty slider guy.. so droid 2 / epic / N9 stuff coming for
sure when we get gsm versions..
jeremya5: thanks again
Mahox: How did you get that ZIF connector there on the motherboard?
atvpolice: Do they make any other asus Eee pc laptops that have more than 80 GB
Markus Davey: Hey, Long time watcher first time poster. I'm wondering if the HDD in this
video came with the cable (grey IDE like thing), as i am currently in the
market for one, and on ebay it only shows them as only the hard drive.
jkkmobile: @MarkusNemesis typically you need to buy the cables separately.. search for
ide zif cables..
cloudyCO: thanks for the video, keep up the good work
sakae32: on the Eee pc.. yes you can...
sakae32: yes.. you also can
Alin Busta: Hello. Could I use this adaptor for and Dell inspiron 910 [mini]? It uses
an Mini PCIe SSD. I was thinking of installing such an adapter, and put an
CF card on it.
