HuzzahOutdoors: how would it do 3-4 miles offshore?
highrock12345: the boat is ok having a lot of problems with the aerator on bait tank pump
works but want pump water talked to bass pro about this they want too
replace the pump but thats not the problem cant pump water if there isnt
any there the boat has a shallow d raft an transom angle is the cause of
the pump not picking water i guess it will not be fixed
sofaism: a video review of a guy who works for mako saying how great a mako boat is?
lets see it running through some real waves
highrock12345: i want not buy this boat if i knew about the problems i had
elcojon: Runs nice.. very smooth.. Had it out on moderately choppy waters. It's not
in this video but if you do a search, it does turn on dime which was pretty
nice and surprising given the shape of the hull.
danmech123: Have you had it out in any rough water yet? Medium to Large chop? I'm
curious how it does. Local B Pro just had one arrive on Friday and it looks
mawk27: I'm picking mine up tomorrow. As with my own personal corvettes racing,
I'll give some unbiased opinions and push it hard in rough salt water.
highrock12345: just got this boat it is a great boat
Carl lafoe: any of you guys want to sell your used one of these-contact me carllafoe at
yahoo dot com
highrock12345: i dont know what center console is made of but you cant clean it
adam gutierrez: Looks like a great boat
danmech123: It's a skiff. It goes through the "real" waves like any other skiff, slowly
or painfully...your choice. I'm actually quite pleased with the ride. It
handled some pretty decent 2' plus chop in the Choctowhachee Bay in Destin.
Had it out in the Gulf for bit too, with some nice rollers. Obviously where
it doesn't really shine is in confused water. Heading out of inlet, tide
out/wind in, the flat riding hull doesn't like those unpredictable waves
hitting it from three directions. Know your limits.
bloodytosser1: What kind of problems?
danmech123: Built a battery holder over that fairly useless "transmission hump" area
under the bow deck overhang. That leaves me pretty fair storage on either
side. Two 27 blue tops and an one ST I-pilot later and it's really a fun
little machine. I've got plenty of "why did they?" and "why didn't they?"
questions for Mako but if I didn't, it probably would have been a boat I
couldn't have afforded to purchase brand new.
highrock12345: high the boat runs like an handles like a regular boat very stable only
complant was little thought on trolling motor and depth finder had to
locate the trolling motor battery up front outside the storage compartment
the fish finder was hard to locate on the console wasnt enough room on
console but made it work and had too move boat up on the tralier to mount
the trasnsducer but the boat is great
highrock12345: the pump on the bait well works but want pump water the ride is ok but you
will get wet on a turn the console has a small space for fish finders not
much room hard to mount a battery and run wires for trolling motor the back
of the boat makes it hard to locate a transdoucer for fish finder
