Xavier leslie: damn it! i want it now! can we order from kicker directly?
thomas4202day: if it dvc that gets halfed again to be a true rms of 400 rms per coil /they
call that 800 for marketing its like if i had 4 no name 15s 1000 watt peek
i would not have 4000 watts handel capability i would still have 1000 its
melito04: What kicker amp would you recomed me to run two 12" comp rt they seem to
burn the coils real easy???
Nayr907: Dude....size doesn't mean crap, they've got 10" subs that can handle 2k rms
bigwoo xd47: You guys are a##es I like this subwoofer shallow thay made that means more
room in the truck and more rms for loud bass lov it keep up the work kicker
chris h: I'm planning on getting just one comp. RT is there any specific amp that
would be good. Wouldn't it be a monoblock 800watt?
justin carter: sorry I just jizz a little when he said 800rms on the 12in, I got the
cvt12's on a rf t1000bd the subs loves the amp I can't imagine if I had
those in my truck.
Sonic Electronix: We don't have a price on it yet, but they are scheduled to ship towards the
end of February. Look to see them on the site towards the end of February /
beginning of March.
txhen1: Wow seems like kicker is a way arguable brand lol. Don't over pay though
there's sooooooooo much better out there, just not on the shelves but open
ur eyes to higher end order in stuff that will cost about the same and
handle allot more. Just being helpful.
matt oliver: Thanks
melito04: I doubt that it wont push both subs good i got one already On that amp and
its smelling like burt it bumps good bt ima try two
shaochia vang: @SCUZZ CARTER Idk. Kicker is cea
Sonic Electronix: You would only want to do it if the subwoofer was single 4ohm or dual 2 ohm.
justin carter: I'm running a rf t1000bd on 2 cvt12 which are rated 400rms a piece and you
know that rf is doing about 1300rms the subs is taking it like a champ.
XxBigZ23xX: could you temporarily bridge a 400w 4 ohm amp to a cvt? does it matter that
the sub is 2 ohm and the amp is 4?
shaochia vang: how is that bullcrap ?
melito04: Should it be a mono amp or 2 channel?
Aaron Leonard: I want the 8" Comp RT Box, are you guys going to sell these as well?
XmackattackX: i agree. who the hell uses a .5 ohm configuration to (get more power) from
a shallow mount.. (800 watts) the only way that was even remotely true is
if it had a 3inch+ VC.. and that is highly unlikely from kicker with
shallow mounts if it is true this cannot sound proper.
No Huevos: 800rms? Seems like a lot to me...
LowNSlowIII: Gonna be wayyyyy expensive...
Sonic Electronix: A sub does not care what amp is powering it, only that it gets power. Any
amplifier that is 800W RMS will work fine for these woofers. The wiring is
important, you have to figure out the final impedance of your subs and
match it to the amps.
Sonic Electronix: You could but you would only be giving each subwoofer half of it's rated
power. They will still work but they won't be at their full potential.
melito04: What about soundstream i have heard some bad things about hifonics that
they get into permenant protect thanks
melito04: Can i do 2 12 on an 800 watt mono alpine amp?
Sonic Electronix: Estimated price could be 100 or so. Hard to be sure at the moment.
quicksilvercho: Can you guys recommend the best 3-way 6” x 9” speakers because i really
want to buy some for my car, but i don't know which are good! i don't care
about the price!
Sonic Electronix: The 8 inch sub is 400W RMS and the 10" is 600W RMS.
krb693: Really? I have run Kickers head to head with Pioneers many times
(especially these entry level subs against the champion series) and with
the proper tuning and enclosures, Pioneer outperforms them most times!
matt oliver: Ok thanks when will they be in and how much are they?
SCUZZ CARTER: 800 in a woofer that size? where is the venting kicker is bullcrap
Sonic Electronix: No sweat! As soon as we get them in, we will let you buy one. :D
rluna5688: They don't handle 800 rms I blew two on first day running a kicker zx1000
Haileys8Commet: Estimated price please?I was leaning towards Rockford p3 shallow since it's
cheaper then the alpine I really wanted but if this is close in price then
Cherry69Popper: When will these be released?
caparzzo: what will be the rms difference of a 8 inch sub to 10 inch sub?
tyler whetstone: I just got to 12 and paid 400 for the pair..I am running 2 12 comp Rt with
kc1600.1 @ 2ohm...
matt oliver: I want one
juan gonzalez: which subs would you recomend?? would it be better to get 2 rts 1 ohm or 2
rts 2 ohm? powered by a Brutus 1700D?
Sonic Electronix: Monoblock amplifiers are always preferred for running subwoofers.
daddyoca69: thats cool they will do .5 ohm but for daily listening kinda not cool... I
like that switch idea but I think it needs to be moved to the amp and added
to the remote knob that way I could have it 2 or 4 ohm then drop it when
you need too... I remember back in the old days when all the guys did .5 on
the orion amps and sounded like crap on music...
Sonic Electronix: We plan to sell the Comp RT Box at this time.
Aaron Leonard: Very nice, looking forward to you getting them in stock!
Sonic Electronix: How many watts RMS can these subs handle? If they are Dual 2 ohm subs then
go with 2 ohms.
Sonic Electronix: A 1600W amplifier at the impedance your woofers wire to. Try a Hifonics
amplifier, make sure you set your gains correctly and listen responsibly.
