Briana Zawadowicz: Applying moose will help if your hair is like mine &' doesnt like to wave or curl . I have long layered &' extremely thick hair :/
Kitty Grey: I'm trying this tonight hopefully it works :)
malenakp: Glad they worked out for you!
malenakp: Glad they worked out for you!
juice052510: what else can I say but, "AWESOME"?! i've been surfing the web forever looking for a technique to the soft beachy waves that would work for my hair. This was it! So simple, doesn't require heat, AND my hair looks amazing! Oh, and i have long, thick, layered hair, so it DOES work on layered hair. :) Thanks so much for posting such a helpful video!! :)
Christimarie33: I ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ it!!!! It is amazing I dried my hair and I got perfect beach waves and I got so many compliments
Melody Menendez: Awesome
malenakp: Almost dry hair is better, the twists makes it harder for the hair to dry over night.
Elsa Lawrence: Can I do this with wet hair!?
Tacy S: And I had the same issue with the braids, to crimpy and this works so much better! Imma do this when I go to California (: thank u so much c:
Tacy S: I tried it and I loved it! (: my hair is already naturally curly so I did it when my hair was damp and a little bit of product to hold the shape (: I love love love it.
Michelle Flowers: I tried it super cute, but i think if you want more defined waves then you should do it on slightly damp hair
Emily Vu: it doesnt work with layers i tried it and my hair became all puffy and messy
vloves1d54: Thank you!! This really helped me!!!!
Rugilė Burauskaitė: it's very simple and very beautiful! Thank you for this information, I love it :)
Natalia Wiersma: I tried it yesterday, love itttt!
lovinngitalways: just put in the twists, let's see how this works out!
bubblegum082: LOVE it! Thanks sooo much your awesome!:)
malenakp: Yes, I believe it does.
Alisha Dewolf: Does this work for medium length hair?
issieim1: Omg I just un did the twist and its so much better then braids. I'm going to do this from now on
issieim1: Trying this tonight excited to see results. I have seen two videos on this and they both look great!
malenakp: I haven't tried it with layers and no one commented anything about it. I'm assuming it would work but not sure.
fromsarahhh: Does this work with layers??
malenakp: Hi Sam, Damp hair is best but you do it with dry hair just make sure you spray a little bit of water on your head once the twists are complete.
Sam Bieberr: so do it with dry hair?
Sasha Dupont: Wow! This video definitely deserves a lot more views. Prettiest beach waves with no heat I've ever seen! Great job! I'm gunna try just this come summertime (:
Kesley E: Hello there ! (: I just wanna as you, what if i have dry bad hair will it still work ? Thanks !
malenakp: you can as long as you leave enough time to let it dry completely. I couldn't since my hair wouldn't dry that fast in the twist and then when I take them out they would be all flimsey and damp.
malenakp: Always hold the twist tight with one hand as you're gathering hair with the other.
malenakp: Thanks Angel! It's better if it's air dried but I have dried my hair (on cool) before and left some a little damp. If you have thick hair you may not want to do the sections too thin.
xxAngelxx49: Love this tutorial and i'm gona try it but first do you know if it works on thick hair? I've been trying to find a hair tutorial that works with thick hair cause unfortunatly i dont have awesome hair like you and second does your hair have to be air dried? Its just if i let my hair air dry it goes into a masive friz!! Thanks again for this video!! :) x
Shelbywlsn1234: Trying this tonight!! My hair is still wet from my shower but hopefully it still works with wet hair!
Allirene105: Can you do this with wet hair?
malenakp: Hi Haley,
After doing this many time and perfecting my twists the only thing I can say is to make sure you do them really tight. Hold the center in place while you use the other hand to fix your hair as you go. If you have really thin hair it will be harder but can be done. Also, you don't want your hair completely dry. It needs to be air dried, slightly damp hair to make it perfect. Good Luck!
Haley O'Donoghue: I really like this style on you but when I do it the twist gets too loose and falls out, any advice
Kayla Dankin: Trying this tonight so excited!!!!! Braids leave my hair too crimped so I hope this works!!! Great video and thank you!!!!
Jennifer Roberts: Thanks for the tips! And yes I will ask you if i have any more questions! : )
malenakp: Thanks Tabitha! Please share if it works out for you. If you have any questions please let me know. The tighter you do the twist the more wavy the hair. Practice makes perfect! :)
tabithakaylin: I love heat less hair tutorials! I'm going to try this This should have way more views. I love how you explained it, so clear!
malenakp: Awesome! Let me know how it goes!
malenakp: I don't have very thick, course hair but not that thin either. I don't see why this wouldn't work on thin hair though.
malenakp: Yes, more dry than wet but damp hair is best!
kaylanaha27: Trying this tonight! Sooo pretty :)
mrsaeropostalelover: Do you do this on damp hair??
