Buck creek: Nice vid man I have a 15 ft. jon boat much heavier though
Eddie E: nice setup
Josh no: Nice real nice!
Rampaging Monkey: Well why didn't just get a gator tail
Bradley Stevens: five hundred thousand dollars you already have seats and a trolling motor lol. yeah alumacraft makes great riveted jons
aj goodson: good luck unloading that, hard enough to load without the motor because the boat alone ways 65 pounds and it 10 foot long
fasignal: Nice I love the portable way and the flat floors , great . In 1986 I bought a Johnson 4 horse ultralight outboard it had a wrap around gas tank worked great
Christopher Bowers: i have a alumacraft jet boat 1448 and i go everywhere smallmouth bass fishin everywhere in the river i grew up on for guide service contact chris at 423 202 1835
C moore: i live in tulsa. In 1990 i got a similar idea except i wanted something for the upper illinois river for the sand bass run and when i didn't want to take my bass boat. Coleman used to make an 11 ft boat they called the crawdad. It came in 2 trims. The one i got had a carpeted floor and swivel seats. I wired mine so i could mount a trolling motor on the front. I came across a trailer that is good because it stuck out too far to be legal. In oklahoma you have to have 3/4 of the load inside the bed, measured before the tail gate. You should check the laws. My brother lives in pearland, tx and said our laws are ablut the same. I ended up selling mine because even tbough i could pull it with a honda gold wing and did once for laughs, a 4 horse yamaha wasn't enough motor. You will be amazed how much weight you will have. a trolling motor battery alone will weigh 50 lbs. Everything sounds like fun but do yourself a favor and get more motor NOW. After you use it, it will be worth less. to put this in perspective, minkota used to sell a 3 and a 4 hp 12 volt trolling motor. They now just market the thrust numbers. The point is this. Your outboard will not work as well as a high quality 12 volt and nowhere near what a 24 will do.
Sydney Wolaver: manko330 is the boat 32" or 36" wide? Did you get it at Academy? Thanks.
Norns20: Is it just me or i cant find the other parts, great work thus far thou im doing something similar right now but adding a deck from middle seat up to front, Alumacraft 1236 :)
mixflip: Hello i have fished when i was a kid and recently wanted to get back into it 20 years later. I have been researching fishing kayaks all day and stumbled across your video which is obviously not a kayak. Now you have my wheels turning. I have 2 little boys and now that I see how easy it is to load and unload a jon boat into a truck I think a small jon boat like yours would be alot more family friendly. Any helpful tips now that you have a couple years experience with this setup?
GM Soul: Where do you fish love the boat
Mark Burns: I think the boat is nice an I'm thinking about getting sumthing similar. freak the haters.
manko330: are you still mad ? I love dumb asses, who never fished the gulf coast, no clue! loser.
wayne pavlow: Lmao!!! As long as your happy
jim davis: Nice upgrade from a Kayak but a far cry from a good boat to spend a full day on. An 1872 SeaArk would be a good all day comfort fishing rig.
Amarachi Joseph Obiah: where can I get a plan for a boat like this....anybody got one
