Simon Bernstein: For us folk with ADD, these How To videos like this one are a God Send.
Tim Clark: Can you help me? I want to set up the phone to read my incoming texts
automatically like vlingo. Will my s voice do that?
Deborah Struve: Yah...mine doesn't do that, wtf?
Pj Gutierrez: What about inserting periods, commas, question marks?
Mobile How To: If your device is provided by a network/airtime provider it could be that
it has been locked down or it is not available in your country.
Aizu Dean: you can enable delivery report
Mobile How To: There are but they all still go back to the cloud to do the conversion.
kcityrocker: I just bought this phone. I feel like I'm holding a sci fi device, a god
damn piece of alien technology. They've freaking landed, people and if this
is what their phones look like, we're toast!
MrZafiroboss: hi do you know if its possible to write by voice without internet? i dont
understand why need s voice internet to control the phone??? i remenber
with mi old HTD HD2 with android i can write without internet. there is no
any app for disable or similar? thanks!
Mobile How To: Go to our channel page and search font, a video will show you how.
dmger14: Thanks!! Yes, that is what I needed to do. The gear button was present next
to the space bar. Holding it down a few seconds brought up the option to
change it between the three options and I selected microphone, which works
Mobile How To: Assuming you are using the default Samsung keyboard, within the messaging
application then next to the spacebar is a T symbol. Press and hold and you
will get a series of options, including a microphone. Select, this. You now
have voice typing.
trlong2: mine is accepting the voice and writing text down, but putting it all in
the message......it's not filling out the "to:" part
Michael Liekens: This dusnt work on me :-(
MrZafiroboss: o yes its possible I found the metod. go to settings. language and input,
voice searching, and the las option, enable voice search while offline.
maybe need download the language and select it like prefered. and thats it!
yuhuuu enjoy people hope to help someone
Mobile How To: Presumably you are telling it who to send it too? Does that contact have
multiple numbers? If so you need to specify to which number you want to
send the message. E.g. Bob smith mobile
Mobile How To: Dont think so. Needs to be online to workout what is being asked of it.
Kevin Roberts: Its not perfect! There is no punctuation!
Mobile How To: Unfortunately the speech to text isn't always that great. It is gradually
improving but your tone of voice etc can have an effect.
Mobile How To: You should get a box similar to the above and be able to talk straight to
SuperCape: Damn! My Galaxy S3 google bar doesn't look at all like yours!!! If i press
the mic button it comes up with fullscreen grey background and it only does
google searches.. Why?
akchild: when i tap the microphone icon it gives me google search and search the
words "text john" on google :( could you help me with this issue please.
Mobile How To: Sometimes it struggles. You have to be quite specific and specify whether
ti is their mobile, home or work number etc
Mary Thinkerbell: But it isn't "perfect". There's no punctuation! A "How to" needs to include
how to text properly, which includes punctuation.
Mobile How To: You are using swear words on the speech facility then? Or is it censoring
other words or everything you say?
kimali bennett: my mom just got the s3 from at&t and she wont listen to me when i tell her
how to use s voice so now she wants to switch to the iphone 5
Mobile How To: It needs the internet to actually translate your voice. There quite
possibly are apps but we can not advise on the best one.
wallisha: Is there a way that the phone can tell you if the message you sent has been
Brett Hutton: that did not work....it will not choose who to send it to????
dmger14: How do you voice dictate a text message in the messaging feature? If I get
a text and want to respond, I don't want to have to back out to the
homepage to the google widget, I just want to respond and dictate my
message. My bro has a droid with a microphone on his keypad he can use. I
can't get mine to be that way even though in settings I checkmarked "show
voice entry button on keyboard."
Mobile How To: Yes. Enter S Voice>Menu>Settings>Show Body of Message. You will need to
switch on the Driving Mode for this to work. You could look at apps like
Auto SMS (Autoresponder) to give more functionality when driving
James Simms: Galaxy S3 does not record speech. I get the message "no speech detected".
It had been working fine.
Karl Fenske: I am like the other guy here. It will not fill in the to: section. No
matter what I say, it won't fill this in verbally. WTF?
Nicole Taconi: Is possible to send messages using the S voice in OFFLINE MODE?? thanxx
John Bonnum: how do you make the speech to text stop censoring me?
CRANKYONE100: cool reviews..can the GS3 read out texts and email to you via the S voice
system? .I'm on the road driving a lot so it's a big feature for me in my
GAVU17: Great video! How do you change the font? I liked the one you had!
SuperCape: No it is not! It should be pure SGS3.... Is there a way to see if my mobile
is locked down or somehow locked?
