Did this video help you?

Christian Cruz: The webpage for the SDK changed? Can someone please send me the link?

hunter liggett: Hello, I have checked the comments to verify there is no answer yet for this issue. When I run the commands I get and error" More than one Device and Emulator". How do I tell it to choose the device so the commands work? Thank you.

Dieuss Benoit: Im using windows 7, I extract the file, the anroi fl appears but it desnt want to run

Gagan Preet: I had found a tutorial and the steps for running the adb shell command were missing. So I was stuck. Even though your video is for linux, it helped me decipher how to go about it and I have been able to execute this successfully. Thanks a ton and great job!

zer0dahero: First I like to thank you for sharing your information. Having said that, I managed to get it all done as outline in here, except the command was "set-install-location 2" and I even verified it using "get-install-location" and it properly returned "2[external]" just as it should. I rebooted my tablet but it continues to install apps on the internal storage, it just won't install on external. I verified "get-install-location" and it still says "2[external] but still won't do it. Anyone have any idea what went wrong?

Documentary Magic: +narendra prol The Android Developer's Site has changed pages and titles around, and they've added some new applications that may be a better file to download instead of those you noted in your video. Would you be able to check the developer's site for any corrections? Otherwise, I'm not sure any of us can still use your instructions for this remedy. (I will also email Narendra, and post back here what he says for anyone else that needs additional info before attempting this process.)

Ryan Strait: Sorry, but I can't understand you.

Fabian D'Souza: A few locations on Android device is changed and the website. I must say thanx very much. I followed your video and maybe looked around a bit. It worked for me. I backed up all my personal data. Did a complete reset and followed the video. Then I installed Whatsapp (which usually only goes on to the phone memory - by default) I went into the settings-Apps and checked on the whatsapp - and it actually shows that its on the SD and give an option to move it to the phone. This is the first application that I have tried. But its one of them that eats away the memory. Thanx again for taking the time to make a video. It would be great if you could do an update to the video as a few things have changed. also the last part in windows cmd prompt I used: adb shell and that worked for me.

Dieuss Benoit: plz help me

Jon Dough: Hello, 1. Thanks for the "how to" info, mostly the commands for change the "install" position. 2. Why not just download " adb-setup-1.3.exe " by doing a search, and finding that exe file to download from xda-developers, rather than the LARGE 1 to 2 GBs of the SDA tools? 3. OR an FREE Android "Terminal" APP and do all that ON you phone? 4. AND most big system apps need "root" to move and Link2SD is easy for us new folks after root, but Voids your warantee. Again thanks for the how to commands!

Max Wen: i tried ,and there showed my install location in extendcard ,but doesnt works. i tried to downloaded a software on google play , same save to my internal card

crazeeladie: thank you random dude, you saved my life :)

Michael Neves: Please note that almost all apps will still require some internal storage space, even if they are primarily installed and run from the external storage.

samuel boina: my error :: the system cannot find the path specified :( what to do now?

joahn johansson: in terminal on mac u don't write the last command as he said. do it this way and it will work. "set-install-location 2"

chris b: I wouldn't want this guy to guide me to land a plane if the pilot died.

prveend lakra: i install asphalt 8 airborne and i want to send data file to SD please help

Faiq Chilmi: will it work on cyanogenmod

Ashley Clarke: This technique is just the same as using the options already in your Androids main settings menu (if it is there), except you are bypassing the menu interface by using the adb Shell; Applications still leave alot of data on the internal memory; there are several, more effective ways of moving apps to sd. Always back up your important data before experimenting. Keep a ROM image handy too!

chinnu: I downloaded asp to SD card and it shows me move to USB storage instead of move to SD card n my USB storage has just 5 mb available n 16 GB on SD card pls help meeeee

Digvijaysinh Ghatge: Great It Works For Me I am able to move whats up app on SD card But unable to move facebook

chinnu: I downloaded asp to SD card and it shows me move to USB storage instead of move to SD card n my USB storage has just 5 mb available n 16 GB on SD card pls help meeeee

Robert von Giebel: Useless

Hector Escalera: It worked! Thank You!

Miklos Both-SooS: put the link here,I dont find them on google ...

Zayed Khan: NOTE TO EVERYONE!! I did it successfully as explained in the video! It does give you the option to move all the apps to SD card! But infact the apps are still in phone's internal memory! its just an option that does not really work! you will still get the insufficient storage message! Don't waste your time and energy guys on this one! i recommend root your phones if you don't want then it won't work.. just a waste of time

Mikhail Nikitin: The procedure can be fulfilled on Xperia Ray, except for a few minor changes since 2012: 1) The SDK archive now is 400+ MB, but contains everything (no need for additional installations). Extract directory "sdk" from the downloaded archive. 2) Location of "adb" is changed to "platform-tools". 3) The last command is changed from "pm setInstallLocation" to "pm set-install-location". 4) To exit nicely from ADB, type "exit". But even after these steps, I can't move some applications (e.g. Dropbox) to SD card.

TeleTubbie Luver: error: device not found :(

janitor hardy: help..after inputing "pm setinstalllocation 2" it says unknown command and lots of commands appear below it... reply please

Saleh Mohamed: Allah your god juses not god Ilove you thanks

amr mostafa: هاى السلام عليكم

Kwong lee hee: Works thanks
